Hello together, interesting for all those who are against the overtaking ban for WOMO over 3.5 t. I think that also campers who drive today still a vehicle <3.5 t should consider whether they should not participate, because the decision >3.5 t can become up-to-date at some point. Currently the overtaking ban applies for signs 277 (overtaking ban for cars over 3.5 t) 50,000 signatures are required, that is a considerable number and the deadline runs only from 16.04. to 14.05.20 14, so please hurry! Here we go to the petition. I have already drawn! Greetings Oskar

6 months the Promobil for 3.45 €
Hello, I’m always torn back and forth between buying and not buying. Appreciated every second issue I buy then and enjoy some nice post and the many beautiful pictures. So I will keep it. Currently I have an ABO for 3.45 € . For that I get 6 booklets for approx. 23,45 € and a voucher over 20.- €, that’s how I find a quite bearable and acceptable price. The rest certainly put Carthago, Hymer etc in the cash register of the publisher on it… ….. Just looked, the offer is still available:http://shop.motorpresse.de/entreise-losfahren-geniessen-15.html

IVECO 49-12, built in 1994, what do I have to pay attention to when buying
Hello IVECO specialists and campers, have found in my search a WOMO with the following characteristics: IVECO/FIAT I The chassis no. starts with ZCFC498 1st hand, KM stand < 60,000 KM. Since 2014, after the TÜV approval, the WOMO has been deregistered Alcoves, rear drive/twin tyres, built in 1994, AHK 3.0 to engine: 2.5 liters, 85KW at 3,800 U, transmission: 5-speed curb weight: 3.6 To, Zul. Total weight: 5.0 to Construction: Multi mobile, roof and walls from GFK 1 solar module, Kathrein rectangular antenna last TÜV in 2014 with the following defects: Differential, transmission and engine have low oil loss. Plaque has been granted. Conversion from red to green badge should be possible for approx. 5,000€ Desire: approx. 23.000€ What should I pay special attention to during a visit? Which wear parts, except oil/filters must be changed regularly? What about the suspension? How long does a gel battery last? Where are the typical flaws on the body? the rumors are running that a spare parts supply with regard to body parts becomes difficult. I would be very grateful for answers, also about expected costs with regard to the oil losses complained of by TÜV.

Connecting generators to caravans
Hello everyone, I would like to connect a power generator (230V, 8.7 A) to my WW. Is there something important to consider? In the WW itself, to my knowledge, there are no 230V devices, but only 12V devices in it. However, the WW was already connected by the previous owner to the 230V connection. In my opinion, the generator for the few consumers – a few lamps are enough – or? My consideration is this: In the caravan itself 12V devices work, in the awning I want a small install 230V TV, the satellite system is running (allegedly, as not yet unpacked – was there with the WW) to 12 V. Is there a better extension cable from the generator to the awning and there in the 230V connection of the WW? Don’t get me wrong if I ask so much, but I don’t want the electrics in the WW suffers. TireMoni TM-150 NST tyre pressure control system
There is a new model of a tyre pressure monitoring system. Technical data: Make a very useful impression on me and should cost 129,-€. What do you think about it? What experiences do you have with the older systems of this manufacturer? The system is designed for the monitoring of 4 tyres. I asked the manufacturer whether it can also be operated with 2 or 3 tyres (replacement wheel).

12V switch for absorber refrigerator always burns through
One question: My 12 volt switch for the absorber fridge (a 20 year old electrolux) always burns. I bought a switch for 20A that should be enough. But it doesn’t. Sometimes it’s good for half a year, sometimes 2 months. What can the lying down? Actually it has to be an over-gan resistance to power is not set. In addition, a battery monitor is installed, which interrupts the power supply in cloudy weather (solar on the roof) and prevents it from operating. So it can happen that the current is switched on in the minute. (but of course not from the switch that always burns) Maybe that’s important.

Fasten your bike fast?
Hello, maybe you have good tips for mounting bicycles in a camper or transporter. I am mainly concerned with the easy and fast securing. So far I always put the two bicycles on the side wall and close them with belts or rubber harnesses. I would have preferred to have the bikes straight and not leaned against the wall. I also pushed them with the front wheel to the partition and with tension straps on the handlebar ends to the vehicle floor. The rear wheel then lifts off and has to be secured as well. But all this takes too long. I have also thought about building something with a quick lock as is the case with a bicycle mounting stand. How do you secure your bikes in the vehicle?

Gel batteries 3/4 year old completely empty over winter
Good morning dear forum members I have a problem, I don’t know yet with what. Have a Dethleffs 8000 XXL on an Iveco. As every year I run the heating in winter very small however on 220 V wanted to unpack it yesterday (plane) the lifting supports (electric) in and nothing works. Have tested the two gel batteries and my indicator shows me zero Kommanix, I bought the batteries last year. Replacement battery connected and it works. Mei a question actually the charger charges the batteries when I connect 220V. Have connected electric block EBL 99 from Scheidt with an additional charger. All fuses checked on the device all in order. Can check today if really 220V arrive at the electric block. Maybe someone has had the same problem and can give me useful tips. My second question I can recharge gel batteries that are completely emptied or are broken. Please forgive me and don’t make so many foreign words or abbreviations around my ears I am an absolute layman in the field, trust me everywhere but don’t understand it immediately. Thank you very much for your answers. LG Rüdiger

Total failure 12V on-board network
Hello, after a strange error with the pathogen line to the alternator (see also here pathogen line I find with horror after successfully believed repair, that the entire 12V net has failed in the living area. Nothing is possible, not even the query on the panel, how charged the living room battery is. All relevant fuses are completely. All cables fixed and mass ok. It has not been worked on. The main switch on the charging unit is except Function. The on-board network is neither switched on nor off. The living room battery has enough power. The main fuse directly on the battery is complete. Can the failure of the 12 V on-board network have to do with the repair on the LIMa or pathogen cable (see LINK above)? Thank you for help!

Plastic ornaments
Hello together. I did not find a way to my question about the search, because I lack the appropriate technical term. I have a 1997 TEC and I noticed that the plastic …….. which are located in the aluminum strip, are muddy and have become shorter. Here I am talking about the colored parts that can be pushed out to the left and right. Can someone tell me what they call themselves? Above those are normed at all WoWa and where can one refer to them? Then I am attracted to It looks like you can’t change it so easily. It also looks a bit dirty. Although all the mentioned parts still have their function, they only want to renew it from optical reasons. I thank you for your help. Andreas
