Hello together, we bought a VW T4, in which already half with the RV expansion started. Now is a second battery under the driver’s seat and I have two questions: 1. Maybe the question is quite stupid, but we are really bloody beginners: How can you find out if the battery has already been connected (correctly) to the engine? 2. Can you trust yourself as a beginner, build a socket to the second battery? And: Does someone know a good instruction or a Ti pp, how do I get a good guide? Thank you very much! LG, Bishuk

Aquaroll for filling the WoWa tank?
Hi, Bin WW-Renter (the first time, years ago with RV) and ask yourself how you fill your WW with fresh water at the place, if you are there only 1-2 days. With the RV I did it like this: ancestors to the rooster, hose on it, other end to the RV and in. Either on arrival or (less amount) of the descent. If there were a few more days and water was missing, I just drove briefly to the RV and back to the place (from time to time also a bucket, so that But with the WW one does not rank, because one has forgotten the water. Watering can and funnel with a 5 liter bucket also went, but in the UK one seems to use the Aquaroll or the like everywhere, a rollable canister with e.g. 50 liters, which stands outside the water connection of the WW and supplies the WW with hose and 12V connection and submersible pump. Now I thought to myself to use such a Aquaroll, to fill the water in the inner tank. But the WW has no outside 12V connection, so that the operation of a submersible pump would be a bit cumbersome, but feasible, especially since it is only about filling up for a short time (while the Brits use this as a permanent water supply from the Aquaroll). Did any of you already do this (temporarily) with a German WW? With what experiences? Or do you simply use buckets and funnels – or even a hose to the tap on arrival at the place? Or what else? Sorry that I am multiple I just don’t have the experience with a WW, which is different in some respects than with the camper. Anyway, thank you for your hints, ideas and advice.

Hife!! Sheet over entrance to outside covered
Hello, I bought an almost new (was bought this week a year) caravan from a dealer. Now we have it at home and then we suddenly notice that the sheet over the entrance (there is also a lamp attached) has a “delivery” along. In the hall where we had visited it did not notice that. Now we drove to a contract workshop on the weekend and showed the boss a picture. Of course he made no statement because he had to He just said that there was no leak test. We heard about this one for the first time… But I could still have it done, right? I’m desperate! I wish you a good Sunday!

Michl’s Ammiprojekt vom Wohnauflieger
Hi, there’s not much to say. I bought the team last year and just wanted to make small modifications. In the end it has become one of my biggest projects, which will finally end in the next few weeks. Look for yourself, pictures say more than words.

Knauss Fiat Ducato 280 BJ 1990 – Rear lights
Hello together, I bought a used motor home of the brand Fiat Ducato 280 “Knauss” with alcoves, because my wife and I want to experience the motor home feeling once. I got it relatively cheap and thought for the beginning it is ok, because if we find that it will please us, we will certainly look for a newer one later. Also who a few “little things” are to make, we think it is worth it all the time, because it is absolutely dry, has hardly rust and also so much However, there are some things: I changed the windows at the top of the alcove, as they were already more than blind. Was relatively good and was not a big problem. Now I have found that behind the rear lights are so “foam buffer” with an integrated rear light. Unfortunately I get these however at no dealer and also not directly at Knauss. Maybe someone is so nice and can give me a few tips where I get such a thing or if it is a paa r there are “relevant” pages where you can still find one or the other. Wants to change the old things gradually or renew them. Would be nice if someone would sign up. Add a picture so you know what I mean. Thank you!!

Change shock absorbers – which would you take? Octagon red or blue?
Hello, dear camping friends, I’m thinking about whether I can exchange the -probably still the first – shock absorbers against new Al-Ko Octagon at my Tabbert Comtesse 450 Bj. 1997. I drive quite long distances across Europe, because the driving stability is very important to me. Since he now gets new tires and new friction coverings, I thought to myself, maybe one time – after 21 years – one should give the faithful companion a few new shock absorbers, especially since these are not so expensive and the installation probably Now my real question: The caravan officially has 1,300 kg of permissible total weight. A weighing at Raiffeisen had -fully loaded – shown that it weighed about 1,400 kg. Now there are the octagon shock absorbers in several weight classes. Which would you take? 1. the blue, up to 1,350 kg? There I would be fully loaded already over, or 2. the red, up to 2,000 kg? To those I tend, but I also do not want the caravan to get too hard. How are so your experiences ? Have you noticed changes in driving behaviour after a change? prefer to take the red one, where you have something “reserve”? I look forward to helpful answers!

Permissible trailer load + experience with trailers with approx. 1t
Hello, I asked in the Opel Astra-Forum the question about the feasibility/drivingability and experiences with trailers with about 1 t weight, because I (with my Astra as a towing vehicle) so far only pulled smaller trailers up to approx. 0.5 t. The discussion “burned” that these high loads for the Astra would not be allowed at all. Furthermore, the question arose whether the maximum trailer load registered in the vehicle certificate (with my Astra 1.1t braked) on the actual Since some of you are probably more often travelling with big heavy trailers, I would be happy to hear from you. You can follow the discussion so far with the help of the following link. Please also answer in the original topic.Link to the original topic Thank you in advance and nice 1st Advent still.

first WW bought and many small questions
Hello together, we bought the first WW after we were 15 years no more camping. We have a little daughter and wanted her to grow up with camping and not in hotels. We bought a LMC 560k and wanted to ask what things we need as a basic equipment so that we don’t fall on the nose the first time. Another question the Thedford which medium in?

Hymer Exsis I 562 or Hobby Siesta T65 HGF
Hello, We are currently suffering from a luxury problem: we are considering buying a larger motorhome. Max. 7 meters, large garage, fixed bed for us and lifting bed for the little one, no alcove. These are the primary points. Now we have seen many (long not all) mobile various manufacturers and find two models quite good, although they could hardly be more different. As indicated in the subject already a new Hymer Exsis i 562 or a new hobby Siesta T65 HGF. The latter is brand new only This is so new that you can’t find it on the road in natura. We were only allowed to look at the vehicle together with the dealer at the factory. The hymer, on the other hand, has not been built in 2 years. We could buy it from a dealer as a new vehicle special edition. I think the last models have been delivered to dealers cheaply here. (http://www.krueger-caravan.de/index.php?…) What is your opinion on the models and is there muchleic? Does an owner of the T65 HGF who can read and report practical experiences? from the Hymer I would also like to hear owner experiences Preislich they are so close together that it hardly makes a difference. New are both. Small things are that sometimes make the one or sometimes the other appear in the better light. The Hymer is based on Ford, the hobby on Fiat.

12 v / 230 v Separation ? Battery ? Charger, power supply…?
Hello ! The search did not give me the matching answers to my question marks in the head, hence as its own topic: In my caravan I have installed an 80 Ah gel battery, this is charged by Ctek device. If I stand now for example on the camping site, and come in from outside 230V, then is charged and at the same time unloaded again … believe that is not good for the battery, or ? The charger doesn’t seem to get that…? Will it take more from me than after eladen. The Bordelectrik is mainly on 12V, so a few lights, radio, water pump… Refrigerator and a few lights also go to 230V. How can I solve this ? Thanks for the tips ahead
