Hello together, what do you think of the damage in the photo? This looks like the back wall has moved a whole bit to the back, if you look at the distance of the horizontal lath to the vertical keder strip? Does it seem to have been sealed a bit again. How can you test whether it is really dense at this point? I mean, until the water shows up inside somewhere, can already pass a few years.

Plan to buy a VW LT35 or LT46 and use it as a camper and towing vehicle for the caravan
Hello you love here in the forum. I don’t know if I asked my question in the right subcategory, but I’ll try it. If it’s better off somewhere else, please move. I’d like to buy a VW LT35 or LT46, which I’d like to remodel in according to my wishes and in the case of my caravan 1800 kg tandem. My choice is the 2.8 liter 156Ps, that’s a fact. Now ask me a few questions about transmission translation and the a 1. Is it right that the LT46 is translated shorter than the LT35? 2. If so, how does it affect the speed band? Difference at the same speed. 3. What can be expected to be the consumption of both vehicles at about 120 km/h cruising speed and 70% capacity utilization of the max paint payload. You can never say that exactly, but a rough direction would be great. 4. Of course the LT46 has twin tyres, only I think he will be able to enjoy himself more. I would like to change that to my needs. At the moment I have a Tahoe GMT900 5.3 as a towing vehicle, but I always get annoyed to invite all the accessories from the trailer back, because unfortunately I only have a limited load for it. Therefore, the idea came to me to use a box van combined and without caravans also sometimes on weekends small T Rejoice me if someone here could give me answers to my questions. Greetings hansvamp15

Electrolux fridge 12V connection?
Hello dear forum community I have a T3 and overtake the electrics with this one. With my 80’s Elektrolux fridge, which still cools perfectly, I now search in vain for the connection for the 12 V feed (must be placed somewhere at the wise distributor). Shouldn’t be complicated, however, I am at the end with my very manageable electrician’s Latin: Would I be happy about a help. LG Felix

What detergent for caravans and campers?
Which detergent for caravan outer wash is suitable to remove black rain strips etc. on the plastic roof and on the hammer impact facade without residue? According to your experience, there is a cleaner at all, such as Cleantruck or Berlin Caravan Elixir or TG22 from Caramba / Berner / CCS, which is self-employed, i.e. after spraying, acting and rinsing, but without large mechanical rework, completely removes black strips or is this unrealistic because a good Result without paint cleaner and polish (as before) actually cannot be achieved? Profile at the edge: Fendt 560GT6 Diamant

Antishlinger clutch does not fit
We have a hobby caravan Bj89 and wanted to build a new antishlinger coupling, now I have found that the Winterhoff WS 3000 does not fit. Unfortunately it is in the description that you should use the M12 screws or with M14 screws the holes bore, now the screws are installed but M19. Does someone advice or fits or can not install antishlinger coupling because the screws are too big. Thank you

Does anyone have hydraulic supports on the trailer?
I looked around for hydraulic or electric supports at the WW. Would be a great gimmik, especially those from E&P which lift and nivel the axle first, then the supports completely automatically. Supposedly the WW then is after about 1.5 minutes absolutely firm and in the water. After also the axle is supported you can use the system as a jack and even lift the wheels over the winter so that you get no stand plates. I’m just running out of 20 kg, actually only the fun costs about 3500 oeks and I haven’t heard anything more about it. Does anyone have such a system?

Parking with the converted van in public space
Hello, at the moment I’m busy planning a van conversion to the camper. As it’s supposed to be my only car, I wonder what that’s like with parking in the public space. The car will be about 6m long, about 2.80 high. Are there restrictions where or how long I can park with such a car? Background is that I can imagine that residents in a residential street are not enthusiastic about it, such a van permanently outside the front door I would always strive for an amicable agreement, but what is the legal situation? Does anyone know anything about the legal situation or has a link? Thank you for all your contributions. Christoph

Battery failure despite sufficient voltage?
Can a lead-acid battery be defective even though it has enough voltage? Starter battery: A lot of time ago the radio off. Recently the return camera. All fuses intact, annealing and starting is problem-free. Living room battery: The light in the washroom (4×10 watts incandescent lamps) has become weaker, previously tested LED lamps are without function. The living room battery is charged by a 200W solar system. On Sunday I removed both batteries. Today I still have 12,9 V and 12,7 V. It seems very strange to me. Can a defective one still be present?

Roof antenna
Moin together, in my Knaus Ducato a Pioneer Evo is installed in the camping version. I am satisfied with the device except that it goes out at irregular intervals during the ride and then goes up again. Who knows this phenomenon, please also write something. But the biggest problem is the radio reception. Catatrophic! Fiery noise always and everywhere. I have no idea of the technology….can you just unscrew the roof antenna and exchange it? Or do you have to forcibly run away G renew all cables? Thank you for your help.

Upgrade to 255/65 R17 or 255/70 R16 的 Can I drive the standard tyres in winter?
Hello Together, we are currently driving a crafter SY 4Motion with the following standard tyres: 235/65 R16 235/60 R17 Now I would like to upgrade to larger wheels so that the buck gets higher. With the following tyres in mind: Yokohama Geolandar A/T (G015) 255/65 R17 119S/116S Yokohama Geolandar A/T (G015) 255/70 R16 115S/112S (Please no discussion about the tire itself, everyone has different requirements and wishes) According to the tire calculator I win with it approx. 2.5cm height. The following questions now arise to me:1) Is it possible to upgrade/register without changing the vehicle? Probably yes 2) Do I have to make a tachometer alignment? Does anyone have experience with Crafter/TGE? There are voices on the net that claim that no alignment is required and that the modified combination would compensate for the factory-side tachometer advance. The tire computer seems to confirm this. 3) Can I continue to drive my winter tyres with the serial dimensions? 4) Would you rather prefer 16″ (steel) or 17″ (Lismore) and why? I tend somehow to 16″, because the availability of tyres seems to be better here. On the other hand, I have the 17″ Lismore in the basement. A stalemate and a real luxury problem.
