Our caravan will soon be 10 years old. In the autumn of 2022 I opened all 6 (six!) drain valves in good time before the frost like every year. Dss goes quite simply because “only” the brown lever has to be placed vertically upwards. The valve is opened about 3mm. At the start of operation in 2023 I had to find that the Truma thermal bath has burst and the water is distributed. I found that the valve is fixed in the guide and only the lever (plastic) bends down. So, of course, the drain valve does not work. The force to set up the lever is the same as with an intact valve. So, look more closely at the next time if the valve really opens. With me it was that of the 6 valves, 4 defects and the 2 valves are the discharge valve. sadly have sat in the hot water line. Hello your experienced screwdriver and lover of the Duc, have a Duc 280 which shows no pre-glow when switching on the ignition. Since it also does not start I assume that it does not. If I pull the air hose of the suction bridge and admit during the start process cold start aid, the Duc also immediately blows off and shows power (starts immediately ) . I suspect a defect at the pre-glow system or missing compression. Dss whole happened under “laboratory conditions” in the workshop and a proper battery charger was tangible. So no problem. But if this happened to me the same way on the road, I would have been thrown up at the moment. Despite enough energy in the build-up battery. Hello dear forum, we family two adults and two children would like to order a WOMO van 3.5 T. Here we came across the limits of the payload and ask ourselves therefore whether we should order rear windows for it or not? These weigh together 8 kg. In the rear side we have already left and right windows installed. Since we have a raised roof the windows fall away as well in the roof. At the end we have already installed beds. We also use no bicycle carrier! Have you had any experience with rear windows (which are in the doors) or without windows? I am aware that without windows it will become darker or with windows it will become brighter. For example, if it disturbs when sleeping, is it better if there are fewer windows there regarding heating up? I am grateful for any advice! Lg

Good morning, I have an understanding question: We bought a caravan Hymer Moving 540 B Autark from 2002. We still have to pick up the car. I have a question for this: 1. Are the consumers switched to 12V? 2. is the battery charged during the journey? Did my old WW switch this so that the cooling is switched over a line from the car and the battery is switched over another line. And all this so that it is only charged at over 13,4 V. The red LED at the top of the sink tank, which is supposed to display as soon as the faeces tank is full, lights up permanently now. Normally the LED is operated via a battery … but with me the LED is connected to the network of the caravan. Otherwise I would have just taken the battery out and looked at home.
