Hello, I have registered here today because I would like to have help with this decision 🙂 We are a 4 head family (2 adults, 2 children 2&5 years) and drive a VW Touran. We have and now a Fendt WoWa from 1988 allowed to explore the world. I only own the driving license of class B. My car has an curb weight (G) of 1654kg and an zGg (F.1) of 2250kg, in line 22 in the vehicle license is still to F.1: +65kg, So an zGg of 2315kg Our WhereWa has an curb weight of approx. 960kg (according to data sheet) and an zGg of 1200kg. Car heavier than WoWa is already good. Only by the entry in 22 I am now at 3515kg zGg. (but only 3500kg due to FS class B) What I have read so far is that I can load my zGg well and like 15kg. My question: What is the most useful thing here? WhereWa loads 15kg less charge = 15kg less charge? Or car loads 15kg, that in the future I may also have other residential cars with 1 And where do I have to go, how do I do this?

Moisture sidewall below – how to repair – Heku 611 or Bürstner i 575
Hello, I bought last year a Heku 611 of the same construction with the Bürstner I 575 (year 2001). Unfortunately I had to find a bigger moisture damage now. The lower side “plankung” was probably not properly sealed so that there was a lot of moisture collected and through the screws also penetrated into the base plate. I now made this plank and saw that the wood in the side wall on the complete side length mor I was at the workshop and it has now recommended the following steps: 1. Scratch out all rotten wood 2. then let dry over winter now and help in between with the hair dryer 3. fill the gaps with hardwood 4. let a VA angle plate cut and fasten over the lower side 5. Make planking again and seal properly What do you think about the procedure? The workshop is now not necessarily specialized only on campers, That’s why I’m unsure. How should I fix the wood in between? Should I fill gaps with foam? Thank you for your help!!!

Electrical problems AHK-Dose
Hi guys, I’m asking a question that has not yet been answered in the Mercedes Vito / Viano area. Here you might be driving more with hangers, grins … The problem is that if I attach the trailer to my Vito 639, there the right rear light and the brake lights don’t work. On the Vito all lights work easily. The towing coupling on my Vito has been retrofitted. There seems to be nowhere a fuse. r Hanging electric, which was installed at the rear side, I renewed – without success. And the use of another suspension does not solve the problem either, I have already tested with an AHK bike carrier, as well …. The fault exists for a short time. I had my small hanger, which has a 7-pin electrical connection and for which I used a 7 to 13 – adapter, attached and there everything spun behind. The reason was that this adapter in its individual parts au and I’m not sure if I put everything together correctly. I don’t want to connect to the hanger anymore ….. Does anyone have an idea, do the electric sets of the AHK electrics still have a fuse somewhere??? pfistikas

Panorama-Luke (Heki 2) or climate-system? Good question….
Hello Forengemeinde, I got a new LMC Style Lift 500K, and got plenty of stuff in the equipment catalog. Now I could pick him up and had to find out that the Heki2 is missing and instead “only” a small 40×40-Luke is installed. The dealer was first overburdened and could not understand it. After a question with LMC it turned out that one can have either the climate preparation (roof reinforcement) or the Heki2. The 2 positions however are excluded. Neither the The dealer on the knife, the documents and catalogues give this to me. Well. I have a contract and there is both inside for the first time…. The dealer has to bathe it now (although he can not do so), but makes me an offer: Either the subsequent installation of the Heki2 in autumn (if the seasonal stress decreases) for 0€ Or a climate system FreshJet 1500 for 999 or FreshJet 2200 for 1399, each plus 369,-€ installation. Think, the discount is not so wrong, but it falls d of course the central roof hatch away (light/air!). My thought was, after the discussion at the fair, that the climate can be placed in the front skylight – so was the idea then at the fair – if a climate is needed at all. What is absolutely unclear and first has to be tried out. Only the dealer at the fair strongly recommended to me for the preparation, since one can no longer do this afterwards, and the roof is (as a result) walkable. So. I am kla r, that now from 100 people 200 opinions come here, that works for me already. It would be interesting, as you quite personally would decide, in this case. I currently tend rather to the subsequent installation of the Heki 2. Advantages: – More light (in autumn/winter/frühling) – More air – Less weight – Less costs Disadvantages: – Less cold ^^ – If later nevertheless climate, then probably more expensive, because less estate – Manual subsequent installation of the Heki2 with the risk, later Pr Obleme in the tightness/stability to get… (doubts justified?) For assessments of your side I would be happy…

Schaudt EBL 208 – first connection, switchboard is left out
Hi, a few weeks ago I had ordered the Schaudt EBL 208, with the corresponding switchboard (LT420) Today I wanted to try the whole thing at home in a free minute, before I pack everything, drive to my bulli in the barn and connect it. So I only have the following – EBL and switchboard – 220AH battery – a 12v LED lamp So the build-up battery as in the switchboard connected. On the inputs is also electricity, but on the switchboard nothing touches. Ngen is also not a juice. I just measured it. Can it be that you can not use EBL with only one battery, but that starter battery, D+ etc must also be jammed? Does someone know possibly how I can measure it best to find out where the error lies? As I said, the inputs have electricity. Whether it’s on the EBL or on the board I can nciht say… :/ Thank you very much! noob

Speed pins with WW/WoMo
On Friday I drove back again the (Austrian) A9 from Graz to Wels and in the evening. As we all know, there is a speed limit of 130 km/h on the motorways in Austria. Apparently not all know that. But not only many of our German neighbours do not know that, even holidaymakers from countries with similar speed limits believe that you can drive in Austria, which gives the car so. With a normal car this may still work. But with a totally overloaded U Rlauberwagen looks a bit different. I drive with cruise control (on 130) and sometimes felt like I was driving at a pace. There thick wagons and cars with roof boxes and bicycles pull past on the trailer clutch, loaded with the whole family and under the roof full of luggage. At the front just before the lift and from the rear wheels is hardly anything to see, so the vehicle hangs in the springs. But with 160 and more on a 2-lane highway with very many curves and tunnels There we are at the next point: in Austria, tunnel tubes with oncoming traffic are 80 km/h and with 2 lanes without oncoming traffic 100 km/h limit. And that’s all very well signposted, with traffic signs, with warnings. In German. I only wonder why so many German guests can’t read it. 80 or 100 is even speech independent. And what about 100 can’t be understood? But we are in the trailer forum. There are also a lot of black sheep. t was a very large camper (back twin tires) with long boat trailer, on whose rear a big “100”-er was standing, which overtook me with felt 150-160. This 100-er only applies in Germany, nowhere else! In Austria applies speed 80 for trailers. Apparently nobody knows. There are “small” SUVs with large caravans with 120 km/h and more. It is already clear that the vehicles can do this. I can drive with my Volvo and a WW also 150. Can! But 1) 2) is this an expensive fun at the pump and 3) where is the rest? Or do the people drive with their WW or WoMo to urgent business appointments in the south? People, the holiday starts already on the trip on vacation!!!! So, that had to be said. How do you all think about it? I would be happy about answers. Both those who encourage me, as well as others, so that I can understand why you don’t care about limits.

Ventilation and ventilation of used caravans, oddities…
Good morning together! For a long time I have been dealing with the purchase of a used caravan. (Was 20 years on the road with tunnel tent.) On the weekend I looked at a Wilk s4, in which I noticed two things that I find strange. Ventilation hoses: The slots in the ventilation hoses, which run in the stowage boxes, are all glued off with silver colored tape. I always thought that the slots in the hoses were not a mistake but absolutely Is this normal or has it been improved there? Outside ventilation grill: The caravan has an oven (as for me superfluous gimmick) installed. With caravans with oven I have noticed so far that these three ventilation grilles have outside. Twice for the fridge and once for the oven. This caravan has only two grids installed at the height of the cooler. Also here the question is, is this a possibility or rather a mistake…. a good start to the week

Weinsberg Orbiter 501 – Freshwater Tank Problems – Who can help?
My wife and I bought an 11-year-old Weinsberg Orbiter, with which we want to start our honeymoon at the beginning of the week. Now an unexpected problem has occurred that makes us perplexed. Maybe someone can give us a hint what could be behind it without having to go to an expensive workshop. Would be very nice. A week ago I emptied the fresh water tank completely and simply for it (which is probably already false). In the bathroom, let the water run into the sink until nothing came. After that, I emptied the waste water tank. The purpose of the action should be that we refill the tank just before our departure into the holiday. Long speech, short meaning: When I refilled 80 liters again and turned up the water in the bathroom, I heard a splash and saw how under the camper water always came out (also a bit after that), how I had run the pump of the sink. I have discovered a kind of overflow (or something that seemed like this to me) from which the water comes out. As we have purchased the mobile without a manual, I find it hard to find out how this Malheur (which did not appear before) can be eliminated. We hope there is nothing “greater” behind it. Does anyone know advice? Thank you very much for anyone who makes the trouble to answer! Greetings, Manni P.S.: The tank is only filled to a quarter after several attempts, nevertheless, water comes out of the “overflow” with every valve use.
