  • Reliable motorcycle / moped for winter – stronger battery?

    Hello! I have a question, and I have to travel short distances more often a day. Now I would have a few questions to experts: 1. weakens the battery from my Suzuki SV650 2001 (battery about 8 months old) and I had to recharge it 2 times within 1 week because it failed. Do you have to buy a new one every year? Are there stronger models too? 2. Are mopeds generally more reliable at lower temperatures? When my Suzuki starts it runs perfectly 3. If so, do you have a recommendation about moped/motorcycle that reliably starts at low temperatures and short distances? Would be grateful about help/experiences at every point!!     Halo so got now a Honda CBR PC 31 F with 98 Ps wanted to ask once if you have efahrungen with Takashi, Probiker, HJC, IXS, Nolay…….. Helmets have at higher speeds? can you definitely recommend such a helmet that costs less than 150 euro? or should I clearly on Schuberth S1/S2 , Shoei, Arai and co… uruckgriffen? since I have little efahrung I wanted to hear your opinions and make me a picture what you think about the helmet history. thank you already i I’m ahead of you sharing your memory with me here.

  • Help! Roller drives too fast! Piaggio ZIP C25

    Hello dear community! This is my first post in this forum and I hope I’m doing everything right. I’ll explain the situation: I have a Piaggio ZIP C25 4-stroke built in 2007 with just under 16700km. I bought the via Ebay classifieds. The thing is just great and doesn’t cause any problems. Jumps immediately, drives nicely. Now my problem: I can drive a maximum of 45kmh. If I give this moped but full throttle, I reach easy 75kmh. I’m just someone d The first thing I did: I ordered a new throttle ring and built it into the variomatics. This one has a width of 5mm. What did it do? Nothing! The thing still drives 75kmh! I then screwed up the panel under the seat and looked at this CDI thing. One thing I noticed: The scooter is from 2007 but on the CDI stands the year 20 19. Besides, there is no Piaggio logo on the CDI. Could it have something to do with it? Now I just don’t know any more. I’m just too inexperienced. That’s why I’m asking you for your help! What can I do/check next? I’ve got some pictures of my scooter, the throttle ring that I’ve built in and added from my vehicle license.     Hello scooter community, after many futile attempts to get a used bought scooter (ATU Race GT50) to run properly, now the ideas run out and I hope that someone from the forum still has a good tip in stock. Therefore: Hello for the first time! 🙂 The problem is this: I start the scooter, drive with it quite normally a few kilometers – he does not cause problems, takes on gas quite normally, does not stutter. Upon arrival at the finish I turn off the engine, do what I z The scooter usually starts without problems, starts without problems, but after a few hundred meters it suddenly goes out (the drive continues and the engine is rolling off). Then it is supposed to wait (about 3-5 minutes). After this time it jumps again (no chance before that) and so it then drives again a few dozen meters until it stops and the fun starts from the beginning. My previous tests / experience The gas filter looked relatively empty. So I took an extra hose and removed the vacuum hose from the gas tap, put the extra hose on it and pulled it on it until I saw that there was a lot of petrol in the petrol filter. Scooter dropped, after a few dozen meters stopped again – so it probably wasn’t due to the lack of fuel. I also looked at the gas filter. If there is spark during the acute phase – yes, it is. So I just can’t explain why the scooter always runs out during the ride after a ride and then pause. It seems nothing to be missing. I have done the following: Electrical: – new spark plug cable – new spark plug (by NGK, same as in the service manual) – new CDI (DC / throttled) Other: – tank completely emptied, cleaned – tank tap tested – petrol filter exchanged – air filter exchanged (ge Gen Original) – Carburettor disassembled and cleaned – Carburettor set clean with warm engine – Battery changed Has anyone changed an idea what to do/check now? Checked, the nozzles are transparent, floats are easily movable, gasoline was also in it. Carburettors re-installed, a couple of start-ups were made, gasoline was again in the carburettor, so the side of the carburettor is in order. Spark plug removed, no spark spark, new spark plug taken, no spark spark. Ignition coil, ignition cable, ignition cable plug bought and connected as set, candle pure, again no spark. CDI replaced, again no spark… All too much can no longer be or? H Do you still have ideas about what I could do? Greetings

  • Overwriting of percentages

    Hello everyone, I have a problem and hope you can help me. I have registered a car on me since January 2010, for which we had my father’s SF19 overwritten. He then called the headquarters and now it’s called –> my father just had to register the car for ONE day and then we could have done the overwriting on me and I would have got the 50% and the 55% without complications. Sorry for the language but I really miss the words: in the end, the percentages of my father are fucked if I should change the insurance policy. I am also at work… because even if I go to the competition with the first letter and say I have SF8 a request is made with the pre-insurance to confirm the mentioned SF i.e. then I am 100% on my SF3 although I have had my driver’s license for the last 8 years.     Moin, I have a little “problem” with my insurance. I reported a damage to the disk on 14.06 (stone impact) and my insurance company called three workshops, which I could choose one of. ( unfortunately I have had workshop binding). I had the selection between AT*, AT* and AT*. Since I have unfortunately had bad experiences with the company twice, I do not want and will not have the repair done there. I quit the “workshop binding” afterwards. and since 01.07.2010 I can choose the workshop freely.
