A new D5 engine for the models S60, V70, XC70, S80 and XC90 is announced in the 2005 car year of the last “Auto, Motor and Sport” (from 24.11.2004) for May ’05. In the text section of the same edition it is stated on p. 26: “From May a new top version with 185 hp will make the five-cylinder diesel more steam.” “Auto-Bild” (from 03.12.2004) exceeds itself almost with long-term news, but also writes at least (on p. 70): “The large diesel is to be increased in two stages. In 2005 the 185 hp variant starts, in 2007 the measuring bar is already at 225 hp.” So something seems to be wrong. Here http://www.motor-talk.de/showthread.php?… were the 185 hp for the XC90 already discussed, but what about the other models? In this thread also the information of several friendly people found itself, which would probably not be anything with May ’05, but rather August ’05?

Headphones in the XC90
Dear parents among the XC90 riders, you will certainly have noticed the priceless advantage of the headphone connections on the C-pillars during trips > 10 minutes. However, “Mother Volvo” did not tell us where we should hang the headphones after the end of the ride, especially since “in-ear-buttons” are not loved by all kids – my girls clearly prefer the normal “earpush” with handle. After these things have flown around somewhere in the car so far (“Ups, I’ve probably put on it; luck was only the headphones of …”), I have now found relatively small, crystal clear glue hooks with also transparent adhesive foil from Tesa in our household grab box. It works great!! Lt. Tesa are the adhesives to remove again. If necessary I can also put a photo on. By the way, I have mounted/glued something below the headphone exits. Greeting, Frank – relaxed back from the bridge day trip to the North Sea (also thanks to headrest DVD by Medion )

V70 biFuel yes / no / maybe?
Hello, so slowly my V70 I is coming into the years and I start to deal with the idea of a new V70. Whether brand new (i.e. already used model-maintained) or is not yet clear. My current 2.5l machine with 144hp, which makes itself with automatic nevertheless a bit tough. Realistically, also think not of the T5 or so … 170 to 200hp seems to me to be a good compromise. Now it turns out from economic considerations whether biFuel could be a good alternative. Question 1: Can anyone say something about whether the new V70 with 140hp is similarly lame as the old one – or because technologically (with automatic please) newer, also agile / faster … less tough? Question 2: There are different types of gas … are there clear statements? LPT because or is this a science that perhaps is subject to regional circumstances or something else? Or are it “only” tax aspects? Thanks for your information.

S60 2.4 147kW Consumption without and with climate
A few days ago, plusminus from the WDR, a fierce ideology and nothing but this prescribed consumer protection broadcast, made a contribution about the alleged consumption of air conditioners. I just want to take out the information about the above-mentioned S60:http://www.daserste.de/…/beitrag_dyn~uid,boprq55w1im0g6z8~cm.asp pdf-file at the end of the article. I’m talking about that. The S60 is supposed to consume almost 14,5 l in the city. With climate again 2 l more. I drive this engine in a V70II and can’t understand these values. Is anyone driving this model here? Greeting Achim

If the owner of the vehicle dies, can the heir continue to use the vehicle for the time being?
Hello, my father passed away a few days ago and I plan to change his car to me as a second car if I can take over his damage-free discount. Otherwise I will probably have to sell the vehicle. For this reason I called his insurance consultant. He meant the contract will pass to a possible cancellation or re-registration to the heirs. Since my father had a partner tariff until about 4 months ago (was then changed so that everyone over 23 f I can’t prove that I used the car regularly. It doesn’t make any use of the fact that I currently have SF25 with my first vehicle. He said I shouldn’t do anything myself, he wants to take care of it himself, but is currently still on vacation until the middle of next week. I’ll have to take care of it, but I’ll have to take care of it. may I continue to use the vehicle as an inheritance even though the holder has passed away? (At the registration office I was referred to the insurance company and only meant to re-register as soon as possible.) If so, what does this look like in the event of an accident? How much time do I have to re-register the vehicle? Because unfortunately this will take some time until this is clarified with the damage-free discount. .

Short-term characteristics Offer trustworthy?
Hi, I just need a short-term license plate for an overpass. However, I don’t want to register the car immediately afterwards, but I want to wait in the garage. So I can’t take this out with my normal insurance. It just costs too much. That’s why I want to take out a short-term insurance online.http://…ekt-kurzzeitkenzeichen.de/…/…en-5-tage-versicherung-pkw Is this trustworthy? Does someone know a cheaper claim Ot?

Overview of the Autopapste of Germany: Is there such a thing here?
Hello, I’m looking for a new car and my spectrum is – once again – VERY wide. I loved both a Prius and a Phaeton. In the latter, Zottel – the Phaeton Autopapst – was recommended several times, whose workshop is unfortunately 550 km away from Berlin, which my Phaeton breweries finally buried. With my V70 CNG I was already in the Vlotho with the nationwide natural gas specialist and now I ask myself – this time BEFORE the purchase of the next In the beautiful large Berlin and surrounding area, there are not even one or the other car pope (or at least an auto bishop), so you could significantly reduce the wide range of my candidates. Which car popes do you know?

Replacement for 15-20t€ and just under 10t km/a
Hello dear community, the following situation: – dual student – weekly 6 days by train to the next larger city – journey to the station is 10km – current car: Opel Astra G with 150,000km and almost broken exhaust –> Tuv due in May – fuel consumption is 9 liters, mostly more 10l – Fridays is driven by car and Saturdays back –> 140km – nothing saved – duration of study: until mid 2019, after that already bound the next 2 years with the company – number e currently 600€ Insurance per year My question is this: 1. Is a loan paid by paying only the interest annually and, if you start working, the rest of it? 2. Would my insurance be cheaper in the year if I had a new car? 3. What do you think of it overall? Too high-risk because of your studies? 4. Which car would you suggest to me? Should it work towards Ford Fiesta ST, Seat Leon FR etc. I would like to thank you in advance! Greetings

All-round damage, self-indebted, doesn’t know what to do!
Hi Community, I have a completely new problem for me, no previous experience and don’t know any more. So now good advice is expensive. Only a week before, I had the timing belt, at Citroen, done with everything pipapo and pressed off almost 650 euros. What do I get now, if I enter the 4 weeks valid offer of the insurance over 1710,00 euros, effectively out? What do I get if I keep the cart and let it do nothing? What would you do, what would be more profitable? If it does not work, what would you do? I have to invest minimum in axle measurement, new tires, new shock absorbers, rubber bearings, because the rear axle is poltert, but the cart does not go anywhere when I release the steering wheel at seventy and fully tap the brake (which is already great).
