Hello, there is always something about the moose (my is n V40 2.0 T) to be replaced or renewed….and so slowly I completely lose the overview and am not sure when something has to be done. And I would be very grateful about this small list that I can add to the repair calculations in my folder so that I don’t forget anything and am on the running. Oil change: 1 x a year or every 15,000 KM spark plugs: 40,000 KM air filter/inner room filter: 1 x a year Timing belt: every 7 years or 80.000 KM brake fluid: ? Cooler frost protection: ? Air conditioning maintenance: every 2 years Would be great if one or another could still tell me what I forgot or could correct if I was wrong.

increased consumption and engine load other than normal
Hello experts at my v50 D5 the consumption from 7.44 to 10.5 is fastened. I determined that after the tank was pumped empty, because I had fuelled petrol instead of diesel. Furthermore, the engine load is higher in the emptyfauf than before: from 15 to over 40 to 55. Even if I stand and switch down the selector lever from D to N to P, the engine load indicator changes from 55 to 45 to 40!!! Emotionally I mean that the car doesn’t pull so correctly anymore, yesterday on the highway I had trouble reaching 200, which went better before. What is broken? Furthermore, the engine before pumping out ran more restlessly than then then then?!!! What is defined as engine load? Which measured values determine it? Can someone tell me what to do? What is to do? Also pay attention to the pictures in the annex. Grusss

Your assessment of the legal situation? Shell’s tire pilot screwed up tires
Hello together, I just wanted to knock off your assessment of the legal situation with this thread and get some tips if necessary. On weekends I used a nail in one of my just 4000 km and 2 months old summer tires (running area, about 2 cm away from the edge). I then bought in a Shell petrol station their version of the tire pilot (Shell house stamp) and on Monday according to the application instructions applied. Now I drive this morning to the tire fuzzi to have the hole professionally patched, then it is told that this stuff makes the tire unusable and it does not let itself be patched any more. But now on the can of Shell word is written: “… At the nearest petrol station stop and the tire pump up with the correct pressure. Tires as soon as possible can be repaired…” From “tire afterwards unsusable” or “tire must be replaced” is nowhere to be spoken of. Following the product description I have already heard that the tire can be patched. Pustekuchen. Since I can’t buy a new tire exactly before I have to replace the replacement of shell without having to have the tires.

Refrigerant loss – sporadic
Moin together. Today, the climate really annoyed me. With 4 men from Frankfurt to Hanover and the climate doesn’t do. For this, the fan constantly blew at full power in order to fight against the sun at all. Before that, I read out the fault memory and there was exactly one error in it: Refrigerant loss – sporadically My research shows so far, that it can be that the pressure sensor (sporadic) has failed (wire? Sensor itself?) and therefore the compressor no longer switched on until the error is deleted. Now, however, I shrug back to just delete the error. I still have a guarantee… Tips from the experts? Otherwise, tomorrow morning I sit on the seller’s lap Edith: more did not give me the SuFu, except that apparently the amount of coolant can be a bit too low.

Support load AHK bicycle carrier XC90 T8
Hello together, Have the XC90 T8 MJ2019 with the semi-electric AHK and since the WE a Thule bicycle carrier. The trough allows 60kg load (3 wheels) and weighs even 23kg. According to the vehicle license and manual, the maximum support load of my car is 110kg. In the rear part of the manual, however, the bicycle carrier is described that only a maximum support load is allowed if a bicycle carrier is used. Question: why should the maximum support load be lower when using a bicycle carrier than the one indicated in the vehicle license (= 110kg)? If I put a correct trailer on it then the 110kg support load is allowed again. With full 60kg bicycle load and 23kg self weight of the bicycle carrier, I would be in total already at 83kg, i.e. over the 75kg shown in the manual for bicycle carrier operation. However, the 83kg are still far away from the 110kg allowed in the vehicle license. What (reasonable) reasons should there be that Volvo limits the support load to 75kg here?

Which Thule roof rack for V90 MY2022
Hello together I plan to buy the Thule MOTION XT XXL roof box for my V90 plug-in hybrid MY2022. From Thule there are numerous roof racks (SquareBar, WingBar EVO, WingBar Edge, WingBar EVO, ProBar, WingBar Edge, SlideBar) – only which fits and makes sense? I would be very happy about short experiences with the individual luggage racks regarding handling or advantages and disadvantages ggü others. Many greetings and many thanks in advance

Idle problems – dies when rolling out!
I’m proud to be the owner of a 96er 850 GLT – 2.5 20V with automatic transmission. I’m very satisfied with my Volvo so far. A living room on four wheels. Simply very relaxed travel/cruisen. However, for some time now he worries. He has idle running problems. The speed suddenly slows down. Sometimes he goes out. I have an odyssey through workshops behind me. So far have been changed: Lambda probe, LMM, throttle flap pot, throttle flap was cleaned, oil trap/flam sieve were made, ignition cables, spark plugs, ignition distributor cap and runners are new …. … Error is still there. Now I have observed this again very closely. Here my problem description: If I go off at first show no problems. Only after about 15 minutes of driving it goes off worse. First thanks only the speed drops short, then it always gets worse and the engine dies even if I don’t give up fast enough gas again. However, if I don’t do it all the worse then the brake bit.

18 inches + discreet lowering C70 Coupé
Hi! I made a bargain yesterday and bought me a set of Brock 18 inch rims. 8J 18″ ET 45 – I think this should fit perfectly on the C70 with 225/40/18, right? 5mm distance discs are also 4 pieces around 😉 But now the question for a very subtle lowering – what would you recommend? I have the KAW springs in the V70, that is far too deep for me. Is there springs with 30/20 depth that really achieve that? I don’t want a “Hangingearsch”! I also read something from spring plates that you put in front to win a few mm, or is that not available at the C70? I am grateful for every tip and above all photos of your lows! What would you like to change with the springs? Dampers should stay – but how does it look with cathedral bearings etc? Thanks! LG Peter

V70I steering resistance left – steering gear defective?
Hello everyone, first of all a healthy new year. After the problem with my V70I TDI (Bj.99, 370tkm) worsens more and more, I have to ask for advice. The problem is this. For some time there is a steering resistance when I turn left. It is a short jerk that has to be overcome at about 15° to the left. The problem seemed to be temperature-dependent (motor cold). Now it also occurs in the warm sand. It seems to me that the resistance gets bigger when I brake and turn left. If the resistance is overcome with a jerk, everything works well – only in the area of the resistance at about 15° to the left just does not. To the right there are no problems. The workshop master said that the steering gear is over and I brewed a new one. Someone knows the problem and has a tip for me. Greeting, Anton

Rugging V50 2,0D
Hello, I have a V%0 2.0D built in 2007 with 30000 km. Super nice car, am actually totally in love. Drive nice gentle. I have already determined 2 problems and would like to know your opinion about it: Ser 1. and 2nd gear go in compared to the other gears significantly harder, and something on the switching scenery pinches when you move the lever to the left and front respectively rear, to insert the 1st or 2nd gear. Ask me if this has anything to do with the reverse gear block. The second problem is a very tight rut, which occurs at constant speed on the land road exactly at 2000U/min, and relatively often. At first I had the feeling, that it is perhaps only the road, which is a bit wavy, but I then tried it out on an extremely smooth, new road, and there it was also so, at the uncoupling and rolling it away again. And still something occurred to me on the highway: until Tacho 190 it went relatively fast, but to reach the maximum speed it still needs very fast?
