  • Defects (resined) pump nozzle 85 Kw, damage community

After a mileage of 148.00 km, the injection nozzles are resinated. I have, because VW Bio-Diesel was released during the new purchase, occasionally filled this substance. The replacement of the nozzles (bosch price 318 €, net) plus wages will lie at over 2,000 €. The car is VW-Scheckheft maintained and had already several major damages (air quantity measurement, cylinder head seal etc. m.). In addition, the small interval change of the timing belt at 60,000 km, which in connection with the inspection strikes equal with 650 – 700 €. Thus, the much praised economy of the PD engine is led ad absurdum by VW and the customer is severely deceived. 1) Are there under “motor-talkers” jurists or similar sufferers, who have the desire to form themselves in order to face up with an interest or damage community against the powerful VW plant. If yes, please report? 2) Are there bio-diesel drivers who had similar problems and where could be proven to be the presence of this resin, then the substance would have to be chemically tested.

  • Control chain at VR6 with 322000km

dear people, I have a passat combo with VR6, 174hp, year 1993. Compression is still good, brought so far even in good weather 210km/h peak on tacho. For a long time however electronic problems. now they have told me at VW, because the idle is irregular, that the control chain tensioners are probably worn out. that means a bigger repair, you have to decompose the gearbox to get to the drive. Is it useful to change the control chains immediately, there is wear mass, e.g. stretch ? which expert knows about this ? please answer as pm if necessary. thank you for the help Jochenen

  • Activation of the alarm system via software update possible?

Hello Volvo friends, I have learned that all models of the Volvo V70 II are equipped with an alarm system according to the factory. The alarm system can be activated afterwards by software update, right? I have model year 2004. Where can I get this update at a reasonable price? in Holland? (just as it is reasonably priced with the heater in Holland?)

  • Test report Sonar clear glass backlights

I have bought the clear glass backlights from E-Bay and installed them at the weekend. I think it’s a matter of taste from the look. I’m sure not everyone will like it, but they are already strongly different from the serial or FK rearlights. It’s just something else, which is definitely noticeable. The accuracy of the fit was also OK. Didn’t have any problems with the actual installation. BUT!!! The rearlights have a design error. In the original condition the bulb for the brake and taillight does not fit through the frame. You still have to help and the whole thing “eat up”, however, does not present the big problem. I have to say that the processing is quite black. There are always small unevennesses or cracks in the outside of the chrome-plated ones. This is only noticeable from the vicinity, but still annoys. From the inside there are the backlights in several places like “ruinated”. So I already have to be quite black. From the outside it doesn’t make any funny impression. Around the people is like a small “Rand”, the hollow. There are only few people who have to watch for it.

  • Discoloration – leather seat beige

Hello to ALL !!! I received my new EOS happy on 30.04.08. • Questions about Toyota E10 / E110

Good day, I might be thinking about buying an “old” Coralla. I think the most important thing is the reliability and, if possible, to be able to drive sparingly. I would like this one optically best here :http://images.google.de/imgres?… Question: which engines were freewheelers, so in case of a timing belt crack without damage? How robust were/are the 1.4 engines and can one come with very economical driving on 6-7L consumption? I have experience with a Honda Civic 1.5 V-Tec, which was sometimes under 6 liters to drive, is this also possible with Toyota or do the generally more fuel need ? Which tips/weak points is it when buying used on these models exactly to look at? What makes the E10 of E110 different?

  • Change pears at Corolla E12

Hello, with my brother’s Corolla (2005) the left light source for the dipped-beam is broken. The right light only makes a rather weak light and I wanted to exchange it with it. I just looked at the whole thing and noticed that there is not really much space. A look into the operating instructions does not really help, because the lamps shown there differ from the installed ones. Can one actually change the dipped-beam without big actions?

  • Workshop with youngtimer competence in the Rhine-Main area sought

Hello, we are recently proud owners of a V90 from 1997. The vehicle is actually great in shot, only a few small things should be directed. Since we are not a gifted screwdriver, we have turned to the next Volvo representative. To our great surprise they told us that the service for “so old vehicles(!)” can only be made limited, and you could not order spare parts for it. With the hint to get the parts at SKANDIX, we were sent away again. Therefore my question in the round: Where are we welcome with our V90 (960) for maintenance? I look forward to all tips concerning the Rhine-Main area, or everything around 80km from Offenbach. Best regards and already thanks for your inputs!

  • Volvo 244 1989 Tyre sizes

Good day together, I wanted to get all-year tires to avoid several tire sets and save a bit of money. That’s why I read all-year tire tests, then I found a few good tires. Now to my problem all the tires that did well were not in my tire size (185/70/14), which is the closest answer is 185/65/14. But I can’t drive them according to the internet: https://reifen-groessen.de/…/#trim-ii-1983-1993-eudm-23i-111 Now I wonder why this is so, the two sizes have only a minimal difference. Thank you very much.
