  • Loading incident

    When charging at an on-site charging station, the car first charged 18kWh in a normal way and then showed fault. On the charging plug it flashes red. So stop charging, pull plugs, re-activate charging station and the error remains. Then followed an hour-long hemorrhaging to eliminate the incident. Go to another charging station? Would it be nice, the car doesn’t drive in centimeters any more. The battery is 52% charged, the 12V battery shows after the attempts still 11,8V. A call at Mercedes did not bring a solution, so tow on the low loader and now I wait for a diagnosis. What kind of charging station the hotel has, I don’t know. First the main security exploded at Tesla, now the EQE remains lying, why do I always have to have the problems? Who still has similar problems? LG Bernd

  • Message Software update wireless charging system iPhone

    Since yesterday, a message on the center console display that appears every time I start, bugs me that an update should be installed for Apple iPhone 14 and subsequent generations. Since my smartphone with Android has a different operating system than Apple devices, I don’t see myself from this message. But apparently I have to install the update in order to be left alone from this annoying message. Can it be that “iPhon” is not meant to be in this alarm and the update is also there for inductively chargeable androite devices? See photo

  • Loading problems with EQS SUV

    I’ve been a proud owner of an EQS SUV 580 for more than a month. When I wanted to charge it for the first time at my 22kw charging station, the battery was only charged to me 11kw. My brother who owns an EQE SUV charges there with 22kw. We then exchanged the cables among each other to check if it is on the cable. Again the EQS was charged with 11kw and the EQE with 22kw. Last week I had the car in the MB garage to check it. They said that everything was in order and the problem lies at the charging station. Have tried to charge the car today at 3 different public charging stations including a fast charger from Tesla with 300kw, but have all loaded only with 11kw. Does anyone have an idea how and if you can change what can be charged at the vehicle that can be charged with max. 190kw as promised? Thank you in advance

  • Decision support Winter tires Arona FR (XL, Speedindex)

    Hello together, as we all know, it’s slowly coming back to the winter tyre season, and for this reason I am currently looking for suitable winter complete wheels for the Arona FR 1.5, which my mother has been driving since June of this year. As summer wheels the car has the serial 18 inch on it, with which it is quite tight on the road. The winter rims are to become 17 inch, model Dezent TZ in 6.5J x 17 ET48. As tyres the Vredestein Wintrac Pro in 205/55 R17 95V XL seems very attractive to me, because consistently good test reports, rim protection and fair price. However, the high load and speed index is a bit worrying me, because the car should not get even harder. Alternatively, I have chosen the Continental TS850P with 91H, but this is more expensive, older and has no rim protection. Do you possibly have any other tyre recommendations for the car, and how much does a too high load/speed index affect the ride comfort? Have unfortunately no experiences and will not be smart from older posts!

Since I don’t have mine yet, it would be great if someone could tell me which tires fit on a 17 inch Arona?? Somehow there is always something else on Google. Vlt has someone already organized some?   • Interior lighting rear for Seat Arona – Self-construction

    For the Arona, as for the polo class at all, there is no lighting in the fund. Completely impractical with children. Since simple solutions with LED failed due to the coating of the roof sky, I will install an Audi light in the roof sky and supply it via the front lighting unit.   • Display in MFA, What do the symbols mean

    Today I had my car (Seat Cupra) in the workshop and got a Seat Arona as a rental vehicle. After starting the engine the MFA showed for a short time down to the right three characters. What are the meanings? Manual I no longer have, since car left again. Ok, could probably load me the manual from Seat and browse around and look for what the symbols mean. Maybe you forgive me the question (without RTFM ) and my curiosity is quieted what the three symbols mean. 🙂

  • Panne – car did not pull, drove high touring, white smoke, no cooling liquid, fuel consumption

    Moin, I have a question: I bought myself a nice 450 SL, Bj 1974. On the drive from the seller, after a short stop in a parking lot, the car did not move anymore, turned around on high tours, I immediately drove off from the highway to a parking lot. At the last meters a lot of white smoke came out of the engine room. I turned off the engine. Later I found that there was no cool liquid. ADAC. The car is now in the workshop. Can someone tell me what that could be. The seller says that it did not happen with him. Oh yes, I just drove about 40 km.   • R129 – Purchase advice

    Hello SL friends, I would like to buy a R129 and are not quite sure what is most useful here. We are looking for a SL pure for the summer (3000-5000KM/year), which remains stable in terms of value. But I’m not sure if we should favor a model of the first series (e.g. a 1994er) with a few kilomters (e.g. 60,000) or a model of the last series MOPF 2 with just under 100,000 KM. We don’t care about the engine – best of all, which lasts long and is very good quality. Since we can only oprically judge and are no mechanics, it is quite difficult to get a really good car. Could I buy auc from private and if so, who can then check the quality? Would so invest up to 20,000,-€. It would be nice if I could get some advice from you. Merci and many greetings Torsten

  • R 129 does not start after winter break

    Moin Moin municipality I have a R 129 500 built in 2002. If I want to start my car after the WInterpause I regularly get a crisis. The battery is connected to a maintenance charger and fully charged. I can unlock the vehicle ( Funk ZV ) everything is unlocked. I can open the cover completely, with engine! It lights up all the control lights as it should be. No error message about the top switch, airbag light goes off, so everything is good! Only if I want to start the train, so turn the ignition key, nothing happens, so nothing starts doesn’t turn! Only after several times the battery can I start the vehicle again! The phenomenon doesn’t occur, by the way, if my vehicle is 2 or 3 weeks, because I don’t come to drive. So only after the 6 months winter break. Do you have a tip that could help me? Greet Romanus
