First (subjective) experience (after 100 km), which however coincides with that of other colleagues: – the nail has become significantly smaller – with warm engine softer combustion – much more ignite (cautiously you have the ignition key, already the engine is running) What I can not judge is the fuel consumption. However, according to our frequent drivers, a reduction of between 5 and 10% is to be expected. Unlike France, which knows the 5% for years, our diesel is sulphur-free. I will keep you informed. When does Volvo “curve light” arrive?
Now it’s getting dark again and some people know the dull feeling when the light cone shows straight ahead in a dark turn… luckily there is “curve light”. At Volvo “thinkest!” although Volvo sees itself as a pioneer in safety equipment. Therefore, I am surprised that no announcement mentions “curve light”. The competition introduces it train by train – sometimes at an extra cost – and Volvo lags behind (here are just a few examples: Astra, Vectra, Signum, the new 3 Series, Lexus, E-Class T-Model, X5, the new Ford Focus even curved with halogen and Xenon !). Driving mode T8 in snow and snow
Hello Foristi, I drive an XC90 II T8 and have a question about the driving modes. In the Rhine-Main area it has snowed a few times now and I am unsure which driving mode is the right one in these weather conditions. In AWD mode it seems to never drive electric, but only with burner – but probably constant with four wheel. After that I made a spontankauf and landed at Audi – so that at least my 6.0 W12 still remains valid. My first experiences: – Processing and comfort of the Phaeton are unmatched – With electronics and driving dynamics the A8 is clearly superior Otherwise the two don’t give much. It’s simple – although from the same group and both in the luxury class – fundamentally different vehicles. XC70 III Long-term quality – your experiences?
Hello, my XC70 III (D5 AWD Summum full equipment without VOC and premium sound) will be one year old at the beginning of February. The vehicle in itself still inspires me. However, I’m rather disappointed by the processing of the interior. In concrete terms, I get angry with almost every approach and/or driving over a floor shaft over snoring noises from the free-floating center console and from the cladding of the left B-pillar. In addition, there is a vibrating creaking from the panel of the steering column – when you put your hand on the steering wheel, it stops right away. Do you have similar experiences or do I get unnecessarily upset in your eyes, because this is normal? So, I had an eight-year-old Seat Toledo before, and its interior was absolutely free of snare. That’s why I’m surprised about a vehicle with a list price of 64,000 euros.

Questions to the W12 drivers…..
Hello guys, I’m not a Phaeton driver yet, but I might like to become one. For tomorrow, I have a test drive, and then there’s a decision. As part of the 1% campaign, I looked up a W12, year 12/2007, 13500KM at the price of 56K€. We don’t need to talk about the cost of leasing, there’s really nothing cheaper. What would I be interested in would be statements about the remaining costs. What about service costs (inspection)? Can someone tell me what such a service costs for the 12-ender about? How often does he have to go to customer service? How is the consumption in practice? I calculate this on average with approx. 16 – 18 L. Is this realistic? How is it specifically put in the 12er for reliability? Tomorrow, unfortunately, I can only drive the 3L TDI. Is the ride comfort transferable to the W12?

Tariff calculators on the web completely fail their service with vehicle values over 75,000€. Also a new experience. has the friendly to mention at the Phaeton sale somehow. Are all afraid of an expensive casco damage. So, there are tips on insurance with a good price-performance ratio?

Volvo V70 T5 P26 problem….
Good tomorrow volvo v70 fans…. Here’s my idea, I am a couple of months volvo v70 t5 Bj 2002 owner with mega power 184kw and chipped so nearly 300ps and unfortunately have a problem that I can not solve! Motor jerks from time to time at 2000-3500 revolutions it lit motor light and error was loud friendly cam wave sensor but it has fix nothing because if I am funny the battery hangs off for 10 min it goes again without problems so 50km then it starts again… I suspect a current problem because the light in exactly when jerking off and flickering at slightly…. Can anyone give me a tip? I mean the speed drops strongly up and down. At the stand or at the start never problems like from 3000 revolutions to 6000 also no problems but then switches the automatic then eh… ask for help… Mfg AnDy

Electronic failure Volvo s80 T6 2004 106tkm
Hello dear people, have a Volvo S80 I T6 with 104 tkm. If the car is standing for 2 days the battery is always dead and the car does not start. After 1 day DER starts tedious. My problem is that since yesterday the complete electronic spins. It started with the message, slides. Maintenance required and shortly afterwards followed brake failure safely stop and engine maintenance. additionally the BC and the speedometer has failed and power loss. The car has been driven as if it has only 72 instead of 272 ps and the transmission has also turned funny. At the next start also transmission maintenance was necessary. All possible lights burn like engine control lights, ABS, engine oil lamp etc. Would a new battery solve the problem perhaps ?? Would you be grateful if answers come Mfg
