Experiences XC60 DRIVe
Hey, get my first VOLVO in 2 weeks – an XC60 DRIVEe summum (handshift) in saphirblack? – wait already quite eagerly and look forward to a hopefully fault-free car (after a not so great passat). I have so far only driven an XC60 D5 GT (185 hp) but have relied on the information in the brochure, which shows the DRIVe the same driving performance (0 – 100 in 9.8 instead of 9.9 sec). Besides, the DRIVe has a torque of 20 Nm higher than the old D5, so should be subkejtiv also at least equally fast on the road. But what are your experiences (there are already some DRIVe drivers here)? I now have a 140 hp passat variant (because the Volvo would have to be able to keep up well, especially the engine specifications are better). But lastly it’s not about the acceleration (there is no raser here) but also about driving comfort. The passat is loud and has an extreme driving weakness (there is no problem with the Ampel, the car is not too big!) And I like the car ring.

Sporadically ontrend motor ruckswing-no power when starting up
Hello Motor-Talk friends! Since recently I have a phenomenon on my little elk (V50 2.0D, BJ 2004). The engine starts quite normally also quiet. Sporadically it suddenly comes to it when starting in 1 gear, that suddenly there is no power anymore and the speed slightly dangles but the car does not come from the spot (speed so about 1300-1400 rpm.). After I then have played something with the accelerator pedal catches it suddenly turns short high because of gas pedal passes through and then runs again without problems. it doesn’t matter whether the engine is warm or cold also regardless of the outside temperatures. I already had the error memory read out and let the engine check for possibly Marder damage however everything without result. My friend could not help me so far. Do you know such a thing or is something like that familiar with Volvo? I already thought about whether it is a gas pedal sensor problem or a problem of the motor speed sensor? Has anyone experienced this or knows the problem?

Phaeton first purchase
Good day to each other, at the risk that you will have to read the questions for the 40th time, I would still like to ask a few things I will sell my previous pass in October. Now I have been looking for a bigger, even more massive car for a few weeks/months and have come across the Phaeton. Financially, the car is very tempting compared to A6 etc. without any equipment for almost the same money. Do you have to pay attention to something special regarding year of construction/running performance? Can you take good care of a 2006er with 125,000km (3.0l TDI 4motion)? How are the spare parts prices in general compared to the passat? And: Can you compare repairs/service with an Audi A8/Mercedes S 320? My father-in-law owns a workshop and just above all cars. Would you like to know whether I can make small things/carryings there or have to be a ceremonial. Phaeton service partner.

ECU not reachable
Hello, my Diva has today signaled ESP = off, ADR = off and ABS = off in the form of yellow lights of the corresponding control lamps. After reading out with VAG Com the error check DTC Memory appears in the Breakbooster ECU. If this error occurred in the past – it was enough to delete the error memory of the ECU 03 (ABS) and swollen everything was good. Now the problem: the ABS ECU (03) no longer appears and I can’t delete the error in Him anymore. what can I do? thank you

W12 rims + winter tyres?
The next week I will be proud of Phaeton W12 Bj. 2008 Self-service (yes, exceptionally no leasing).I have fulfilled my dream now… Unfortunately, the winter season starts at that time and this means for us car lovers that we have to cover our favorite new shoes and socks… Since the Phaeton is absolutely new to me I would like to make no mistake and make the correct choice. Now to you the question: Which rims and tyres do I have to buy exactly for the W12? If this is the case at http://item.mobileweb.ebay.de/viewitem?… 1000 eur are quite interesting to install… Is it possible to install 17? How much does the vmax? unfortunately I find only tyres that go up to 240… Currently 255 45 R18 103 Y tyres are suitable on the Phaeton.

AFN 1.9 TDI General overhaul planned!
Hello guys, I wanted to ask briefly if some of you would know what about cost-wise would come to me if I wanted to overtake my AFN. I’m talking about the part costs like piston rings, storage shells etc… So without working time or anything… I’d do it myself. I’d do the whole unit outside by changing it to another body and the heart would bleed if I would use it again 😉 do you think I do the same 🙂 Have you already made your experiences there? e.g. whether original VW parts or other suppliers? What do you think would be recommendable of what? and which parts MUST be absolutely recommended? At the moment I have overtaken 380 000 km but I drive with the still for sure still a million 😉 So important is your opinion in pointo: Which parts, where do I get the parts and what does it cost? thank you already for your answer and until then!

V50 2.0 or A4 Avant 2.0 at the outlet bargain price?
Hi, I have to start an inquiry here for my dad and need your help “and good arguments” 🙂 So far he already has the second Audi Avant with the 2.0 140PS gasoline engine and wants to replace it now with a new one. To the debate is “again” an A4 Avant 2.0 with edition package etc., or a well equipped V50 (possibly momentum) also as 2.0 gasoline. Normally the Audi is a price class higher than the V50 but since the new model is probably already presented at the IAA there is z.zt.. with Audi unbelievably good conditions, so that the price advantage of the V50 is away. For the V50 speaks, however, that my dad is “a little” in love with my V50 already for two years, the car “no” exit model is but only just to the advantage has been optically refreshed. For the A4 speaks the so far good experiences, the “z.zt.” great price…but again that one drives within a “old” car and the 2.0 is not really the new TF still expensively available, but the “2.0” is not really good in the A4.

Switch off the passenger seat safety warning
Similar to what was discussed in the thread “RTI safety note off”, the patronage of Volvo is something to me on the cookie. Problem: If you have an object lying on the passenger seat, which is heavier than about 1.5 kg and there is no belt plugged in, then, as soon as you go off, you will be inaudiblely reminded to put on the belt. Safety back or forth, but as a 90% driver I do not need a hint that reminds me to strap the milk bag/cuff pocket on the passenger seat… And if you then put something off in the rear, you have to push away the message in the display that no belt was put on in the rear. Aha. According to this, it is “officially” not possible to deactivate this externally superfluous “safety device”. Does it also bother you that you can not even take the small purchase in the car without “Yes, I’m sure”, “Ok, that’s already right” and “Yes, I’m legal” somewhere to confirm that there is really no solution?

Volvo XC70 (BJ2008) doesn’t like iPhone 3G (Bluetooth) anymore? Why?
Hello dear community, I hope to get a little help here for my problem. For a few days now my Volvo Bluetooth hands-free system (directly from Volvo) doesn’t want to work with my iPhone 3G anymore. The whole thing has worked more or less smoothly since 1 year. Last time I went on a longer journey everything went, suddenly it couldn’t connect to the iPhone any more. Now I tried to do that again. First of all he didn’t find anything in the search for the device at all. Then when I was in the Bluetooth menu of the iPhone (should apparently help), I could connect, well, at least half. I had to enter the pin on the car then, and then he tried to connect it. On the iphone then I could find in the device list “My Car” as well as connected. On the center console of the Volvo stands “no connection”, although it indicates above so dashes about the reception. But there is no way to make a phone call again etc. I have tried this all the time, but so far I couldn’t find a solution, why it is not possible to make it work again.
