  • automatic door locking when moving off

Hallรถsen municipality, now I am again with a question: Did the friendly let me activate the automatic door lock because it was disabled with me. Now I am a bit surprised like this one works like this. Because with my predecessor E-Class 220 CDI it was so when I opened the door from the driver’s side from the inside all the other doors were unlocked. This is not so when it comes to thickening it is because I press on the unlock button at the opener lever what is very cumbersome like me. And now to the actual question ??????? Is there any way to change this anyhow if it has to be also about the friendly ????? Would that be nice if the door is locked is not always to be pulled twice at the opener and if the other doors would also be unlocked with it. I find it very strange that one could activate this by itself for such a thing in the workshop at Mercedes.

  • It doesn’t seem like four-wheel…

Hello together, I have my Phaeton in the meantime 1.5 years and am super satisfied. Only it has snowed with us now, the first time and so I had my first Phaeton experiences with snow. Now I was with a buddy who lives on a steep slope and thought to myself, great now I finally have advantages through my four wheel. What was ? I did not get up the mountain…. My buddy is standing laughing with his 320 xDrive next and drives up and down the mountain. Since I was already extremely disappointed now my question, where does the difference come from ? Do I have to turn on something first ? Is it the higher weight that my car doesn’t let go forward ? Good slide to all of you. Greetings to all of you.

  • Autoradio High performance RDS indicator static

I have been driving an xc60 with high performance autoradio since 01/2011. My son has noticed that the title display does not run through and usually half-cut titles are displayed. On demand, I received the answer from the volvo dealer that the reference line should not go through on some “legal regulations” (not defined in more detail). I then asked the boss, who had probably never noticed this at the volvos before and wanted to inquire as well. But I did not get a satisfactory answer. If my son had not drawn my attention to this, I would probably never have noticed that, since then I have been annoyed every day.

  • D3, 2.0l, FWD, GT, 163hp by Heico tune ?!?!

Hi dear Volvo community, perhaps in the near future would like to tune my XC60 by Heico and have following questions to you. Drive the XC60 with the D3 engine, 163 hp, but above all not an AWD but only FWD and automatic and it is the 2.0 litre and not the older 2.4l engine. Now I wonder if the 2.0l compared to the old 2.4l engine is a completely different engine? Now the real question is whether the 2.0l D3 engine with FWD is designed for the Heicotuning on 195 hp and 460 NM, but above all also the gearbox??? With the older D3 and D5 engines it was so that the two were identical and therefore tuning on the D3 was not a problem. The next question would be whether the D3 2.0l FWD has a different transmission than the old D3 2.4l and the D5, thanks?? In short, I am worried that the small D3 2.0l and FWD as well as the automatic transmission for the more than 460 would have been designed by Heico and the other D3 and the D5.

  • Volvo XC60 2.0 D3 Drive or 2.4 D5 AWD

Hello together By the end of month I will order a Volvo XC60 R-Design. As far as color and equipment are concerned, I’m pretty sure… BUT the decision whether to buy a D3 Drive 2.0 or D5 AWD changes from day to day … ๐Ÿ™ What do you think difference in consumption would be more than 2 liters?? What manufacturers say is not so realistic…I already know ๐Ÿ™‚ I tried both. D5 was with automatic machine and drive with manual transmission. Somehow you already notice the power difference but from the D5 I expected more. Compared to 2.0 Drive, I would say that D3 accelerates quite well and makes almost quieter and less noise than D5. Somehow nicer to drive…I always buy car with manual transmission, it was perhaps wrong feeling. With the D5 you should already notice +40 HP more clearly… AWD is not important to me…I almost never need AWD with front antrien…but it doesn’t exist ๐Ÿ™‚ Can someone tell me quite sure what a D5 AWD consumes more than D3 Driveu2.0s?

  • TSIs with high mileages please report/experiences

Hello, I know something like that has been treated here many times, but I’m just asking in general here. It’s mainly about the 1.4s, whether with 122hp, or higher. The 1.2s are also welcome to report here. Well, what I want to know exactly is if there are TSIs here, which have made WITHOUT PROBLEMS over 100,000km. I really don’t want to talk about the TSIs, that’s not my intention at all, I think it’s even interesting what you can get out of a 1.4er today, but it’s important to me personally that such a motor keeps up with it, because you often buy a car for many years and when you drive 20,000km in the year and you have to invest a lot of money every year, then I think it’s very sad (of course, the car should get the most beautiful oil and the best spark plugs ever after interval, no question, that’s not what I meant by that). It’s about things like driving chains (comfortably, that VW wants to switch back to timing, because you think about turbo, and what’s about everything is “typically about maintenance”, so I don’t think about the same about the same thing about maintenance.

  • Problems with iPhone Hotspot (iOS 11.03 ) Version 15B93)

Hello! Unfortunately, I didn’t find out in other posts, so I ask my question here: For a few days now I have been trying in vain to connect to our XC90 (EZ. 7/2017) via iPhone. In the settings menu “Communication” of my Sensus (here both Bluetooth and WiFi) everything seems to work so far, only the Internet logo at the top left of the main display remains persistently crossed out, although in the respective submenu BT and Wlan the connection is marked as active. Globally I also get the message (e.g. within the download center) that no connection to the service is possible. Does anyone have an idea what this might be about? 1000 Thanks for your feedback and a nice rest day!

  • Volvo XC90 T8 real consumption – practical data

  • Smoke from the engine compartment

When I was standing in the city at the traffic lights it was smoking out of the hood (left front) – and it was stunk badly (in my opinion after ร–L). Then I got to the right and saw under the hood – the smoke came from the cracker / exhaust. But then it had to continue driving – it still smoked a little. When I arrived in the workshop it no longer smoked – demonstration effect. The car was then checked on the stage – it is all dry, it is nothing to see. The technician meant – the DPF is now in the engine room – it is getting very hot (~600 degrees) – and there should be something burned. Whatever that has been!? I have seen that the car the last KM also needed a lot of fuel – my cut is at ~7l – he needed short ~20l lt. Display. Does someone know the phenomenon? If you are driving that doesn’t smell so much – but I have found it in the interior of the Volvo forum – I have read some similar ideas.
