Alfa Romeo Brera 2.2
Hello dear community, I am 19 years old and am currently looking for a car which corresponds to my profile. Funny I came across the Alfa Romeo Brera 2.2 then. I really like it optically, it seems to be quite ok from the insurance (priced), liters are also clear. Now my question, can you recommend the car?Alfa Romeo Brera Since I hardly know myself with cars, can someone tell me if the car would be ok for the KM and the price? Do I have to worry if maybe the car has to go to the workshop after 5000 km/h? How were your experiences, please write to me, thank you! mfg.

The King is dead, Long live the King
My year-old V10 (138,000 km), who has always served me faithfully, surprised me at Christmas with a defective heater, broken xenon burners, broken batteries and an oil leak on the turbocharger. Since the probability of soon due turbochargers and other mean things getting bigger, I used the favor of the hour and instead of a painfully expensive repair a much newer V10 standing on the farm by chance from my friend on the farm was bought. I was relieved of this decision by the acceptable price, which was offered to me for my old fat. Here the pictures of my new acquisition. The equipment is much better than with my old, he even has digital TV. The color composition is somewhat more accustomed (but looks better in Natura than in the photos), which is why the dealer was happy to get rid of him. By the way, I would have almost taken a W12, but he had no floor heating Well, maybe the next time. Greetings from Munich……….

Buy used injectors without a test protocol or rather overhauled ones?
In the last few days, I’ve had a lot of trouble with injectors and come to the following conclusion: that with the used injectors of classified ads, instead of buying them correctly, I make sense to a certain point. Only what I’ve heard is that injectors change their injector image after a few thousand km, the motor control unit calculates the change and fits quasi “imaginary” the IMA code (stands for a particular injector image) without putting it off somewhere so that you could read out the new IMA code (if I’m properly informed). As long as the injectors always remain in the same car and piston, that doesn’t matter. But as soon as you expand the injector and build it into another car, that becomes a problem: In the case of small ads bought only a few of them (there is no test protocol) you have no choice but to take the IMA code on the injector again. But this IMA code no longer agrees with the actual injector image, since you have to make sure that one of them changes to the device.

Suction cup doping
For everyone who thinks about moderate software tuning at reasonable prices: … I hear the bells again and make the alarm and the smartest comments about it! … JAAA – I did what and what makes sense! You take a suitable Motronic-SG, breathe the same other parameters/curves/knife fields etc. etc. and install this within a few minutes – here V70 with 5254S First of all: NO, I did not have the logo itself ‘ge-schippt’ – conversion already… really only 5 minutes. From ‘Tuner’ (…the vlt. certainly know some from another VF) I was among others ‘proposed’: – a few not significant PS more – already a little spinnmonent more – in the speed shift down – a ‘biter’ gas pedal … and still a few smallnesses first rides (unfortunately only) today: – expansions, build up no problems ! – spürbar more agility in the pedal – never let’ go like free again.

Pop Off at the 2.5 T engine – where and which one?
Hi! I have the V70 Bj 1998 with the 193 hp 5-cylinder turbo engine. We have changed the control unit and it now brings 0.9 bar charging pressure. From the trigger it goes totally well, does not go worse than my Audi A8 with 300 hp, which I had before. Now I want to install a Pop Off. An acquaintance has the same Volvo with the same engine. He installed a Pop Off last week that absolutely doesn’t hiss. It works on etc. – but you don’t hear anything. He installed it on top of the idler by means of a T-piece. It’s not on the valve, a friend had it previously in the Audi S4 20V Turbo where it hissed damn loudly. Is this installation place right or where would you recommend that you install a pop Off? Thank you! LG Peter

Switch resistance on the Volvo V50???
Hello, since yesterday my ventilation in my moose has almost completely put down the work. It has made itself noticeable, by a smell after “decomposed electronics”. As an electronician I assumed that possibly a transistor/thyristor on the blower control board has given up the mind. But a friend told me that it can also be a resistance. Can someone tell me how to change it, or if necessary send me a disassembly/installation instruction? Wouldn’t want to pay 800€ at the friendly because he exchanges the whole board, if I can just solder the defective component myself and exchange it. Thanks for your help Sven

Comparison of assistance systems XC60 MJ2017 with Mercedes E-Class
Hello dear ones, I’m playing a new XC60 D4 FWD Autom. Summum incl. assistance package to buy. I’m driving an E-Class, BJ2012 with Disctronic, assistance package, etc. The Distronic and the other A-systems work great. Especially the automatic distance tempom is a great thing, all inconspicuous but always present and without malfunctions. In my version also no active steering intervention takes place, only when driving a pulled-through line one is pushed back correct by a brake intervention – quite nice, but a warning would be enough. I have read about the somewhat unfortunate solution of traffic sign recognition. From what are your experiences with the assistance systems of the XC60 – is this a round thing, it works as expected or ends in a disappointment compared? Dear thanks for your experiences and information.

S60 – DVD function while driving
Who knows the new Sensus in the S60/V60, knows hopefully also the new function to be able to watch a DVD up to 6 km/h. Yesterday I was now very often in traffic jam and watched the last Bond movie. However, the image transfer was interrupted again and again, if I drove faster than 6 km/h Now to the question! Is there a software that unlocks the function also in driving mode? I do not want to watch DVD at high speed, it would be enough if this function were available up to 30 km/h, so the classic Stop and Go! Someone an idea?

Two toddlers and teenagers rear seat
Hello, I’ve already searched the forum a little bit, but I didn’t find a solution for my problem. I’m driving a Volvo V50 D3 year 2012, super car only I have to change 🙁 We have two children 13 and 1, now unplanned still a third worm has announced 😉 I’m looking for a car now, where on the back seat a child seat group I-III, a baby shell and a teenager fits as well as a stroller and a buggy in the trunk. For holidays I have a roof box. All other posts revolve around three child seats in the V70 or XC60 respectively. I would like to know if someone has experiences with the above mentioned problem. Would like to stay with Volvo and press ahead of Touran, Sharan, Bus etc…. I can’t win anything from this.
