Hello, I want to have my Grande Punto Racing 1.4 16V Bj 04/09 upgraded to LPG. I got offers from 2 dealers. Once a plant of Prins (evaporator system) for 1900€ ore Vialle (liquid injection) for 2450€ Another dealer offered me the Prin system for 250€, but inclusive car rental etc. What do you think of the systems? And are the liquid injection systems really better? I read that the diaphragm pumps are often defective… Weigh the advantages and disadvantages bitel (consumption, engine cooling, etc.) But I find the price difference already huge. Thank you for your opinions!!!

How best to protect against edge rust
This is not vehicle-bound. How best to proceed here… I would proceed like this. Manually rust out with the wire brush. Then ovatrol oil. Then fluid film… then selbett or Mike Sanders…. How good is that?

How to best eliminate paint damage?
Hey, I uploaded a picture of the damage. It’s a Ford Fiesta in Magenta Red. The scratch at the edge goes up to Bleck, the others don’t. Paint pen, paint spray or workshop? And how much would cost in a workshop? Thank you in advance and Best regards Dripajima

Passenger door Corner damage bottom left
Servus! I have a relatively new seat, there was damage to the passenger when driving in an underground car park, which had two curb edges, which I did not recognize so, a door was easily broken, because the passenger wanted to clear out and did not recognize this edge. I uploaded the pictures. The inner door was not damaged or the inner body. Maybe we have a few car drivers who can estimate the damage. I have a damage in the car. Year free at full and partial cascade and consider using this then, the amount should be well over 300€. Greetings,

Remove vinyl roof and then paint? Price?
Servus, I made a vintage car clear today. Year 1984. This one currently has a vinyl roof. Unfortunately with some rust pimples under the vinyl. According to previous owners, these have become no more or bigger in the last years. Nevertheless, I would like to go there. Roof down. Work up, remove rust etc. and then just repaint. Black shiny so that it fits the rest of the vehicle. I would try to do the preparatory work myself. So vinyl down, derust so that it only needs to be painted afterwards. Does anyone have experience what it costs? I get the vehicle on Thursday. Then I like to post a few pictures.

Secondhand purchase 225xe
There are currently very cheap annual cars from mid-2018 with good equipment (sports seats, LED and parking doors front and rear, panoramic roof) around 25000Euro. These vehicles do not have the new battery cells of the model car 2020, which enable the 40.50km pure electric driving real, for a good price. And 30km are also good. Is there something special to consider? Do these 2018 models also get the E license plate or is the equipment dependent? Co2 or range? Or would you go on the new model, but half-yearly car for 30000 euros?

i8, heating in winter.
I had talked to an expert employee of BMW about the heating of the i8. He told me that for the heating of the interior also the engine heat of the internal combustion engine is used, not only the electric heating, which is fed by the battery. When the i8 is cold and is going off, the electric heating immediately acts, fed by the battery. So it is warm very fast, but the small battery also has to supply a lot of power for it, so that it loses so very quickly total capacity. before I present the heating at the lowest level (16 degrees, automatic air conditioning) in case of cold. The first time I drive in sport mode, so that the combustion engine gets temperature as quickly as possible in order to fire the interior heating. If the combustion engine is warm enough, I set the temperature up as I would like it to be. I turn off the sport mode. So I try to save the battery as efficiently as possible. ll supply the burner, not the battery. It is also possible otherwise, easy to drive and let the car heat as quickly as possible, powered by the battery. Charge the battery permanently with the sport mode. But I think it is not very efficient.

Range Rover for Audiophile
Those who support Range Rover are not quite averse to the pleasant things of life. For me, the enjoyment of music is part of it. That’s why I have always ordered the big Audi systems, often B&O, but also B&W. So far, from my point of view, the Burmester was the best system. Now, after a few days in my new Range Rover no longer. I’m absolutely thrilled by the Meridian Signature Reference System. Stage, resolution, naturalness, … that’s afac h big movie theater. I wanted to exchange ideas in this thread, with which media, in which formats, with which resolutions and in which settings you have had the best experiences. My favorite is USB. Tidal over ApplePlay is also very good. Only the navigation is a bit cumbersome. Either you go via albums. This can only be done in offline mode or via artists, then you get titles in the next level, not the albums. From the formats I mainly use FLAC, I don’t have to convert. 192/24 takes the Meridian without any problems. I also like the Trifield very much, although I don’t really like such manipulations. This often brings “interesting” effects. For MQA, the Meridian is probably a bit too old.
