Hello! I have to say hello to you today, maybe one of you knows my problem and can help me… My V70ll 2.4T automatic from 2000 makes strange noises. And indeed under load at approx. 1600 to 1700 revolutions. It sounds like the resonance of a sheet metal, heat shield or something like that, but a little bit deeper. It’s not really to be found, here’s a summary: – noise only under load (starting or standing in driving stage and with brake) – no noise at appropriate speed without load – no noise change by steering or shutting down electric consumer or the air conditioning – noise is gone, if the wedge belt is not mounted – apparently the noise is more present in cold vehicle or at the now prevailing outdoor temperatures I suspect the origin now times in the belt drive and indeed especially in the servo pump. Why the noise then only occurs under load, however, I can’t really explain again to myself again. Maybe it has something to do with rotational imbalances of the engine, which are just stronger under load. Because of this assumption I have used the servo oil. But I didn’t have a change.

white C30 rdesign – discs sounds???
Hello, I’ve been driving a white C30 rdesign MD2010 1.8 for about 1 month now and now think about letting the back panes sound. I can’t imagine exactly if this would not seem too bad …. Does one of you have a white C30 and has the panes sounded? Or does someone have a photo at hand? I’ve already used the Google – image search, but I don’t think that you can do much with the photos, because they were mostly processed with the computer, or were made on any car shows. Why order a new one ?
My V40 T4 (built in 2003) will now be exactly 10 years old in a few days. He still purrs like a kitten and does his name all honour! Okay… he was always cared for and is of course a checkbook. So until now, a new one doesn’t make sense for me. What about you? How old are your elks? And after how many years or KM are you replaced by a new one? 2nd annual inspection at the S40 1.6D
Hello, I’m just about to fix my invoices and notice that the 2nd annual inspection of the XC90 D5 with approx. 40,000km is almost identical or cheaper than the S40 1.6D with 30,000km, both times the same car dealership. Although the XC90 needs almost twice as much engine oil. On the invoice for my XC90 is listed a basic price of 170,00€, in addition there are different costs for oil, various filters, total price 502,08€. However, with the S40 my wife the basic price is specified with 238,00€. Also here are several costs for oils, filters etc.. So I come to a total amount of 493,48€. According to the invoice, no additional work has been done that drives the price upwards. I would be interested in whether this is normal or whether you have an explanation for this. What do you pay so on average for the inspections at the S40?

V40 2.0T- what to consider
Hello, I’m new and I’m thinking of buying a V40 2.0T. I already have a specific offer: 146Tkm 160PS manual transmission EZ 09/99 HU/AU new climate silver luxury package with on-board computer, FH electric (front and rear), speed control system, ECC climate control, and textile footroom mats; premium design package with double headlights, interior decor inlays, jacquard/leather padding anthracite, light-metal rims 16 inches, and sports leather steering wheel; roof spoiler painted in car color, middle armlahne front and rear, fog lights. Check stitched, winter tires, inspection new as well as 1 year warranty. Unfortunately, I don’t even know about the Volvo’s. What do you think about the Volvo, what would it be worth and what I have to pay particular attention to – even when driving etc? And do you have experience with it when an AHK is with it?

Help slowly I despair. My fatter stinks and smokes
Good evening, I’m new here and a proud phaeton owner but slowly I disintegrate. To the vehicle. Phaeton Bj. 12.05, 3.0 diesel bmk engine, with 168000km. It started about 6 months ago he smoked white blue and smelled of diesel in the interior, exchanged all injectors, return line about 2 months ago. A month later Lambdasonde ban 1 and Dpf emergency regenerated because the overloaded was after it was quiet. Now he starts again, in the interior it stinks of exhaust gases when I stand at the traffic light and it smokes again. (Water loss I have no and no oil reproduction). Can someone help me further.

Please help with purchase of Phaeton – Solar roof issue
Hello, I want to buy a 2009 Phaeton. I know from theseler that it is equipped with solar roof. However, I have read at the EPOC website that GP2 has the following feature: Solar sliding roof in conjunction with RNS810 ex factory without function. Does this mean that the Phaeton I want to buy can have the stand ventilation not operational? If yes, how can I check remotely with theseler when the stand ventilation works or not? Automatic gearbox defective????ß
Hello Ride a S80 2.9 Geartronic. The latest automatic spins. Turns off very incorrect and sometimes hangs in the 3rd stage. Then no other gear can be inserted manually. The dealer has already tried it with new software, misstatement. Change of gear oil. Also brought nothing. Errors appear again and again and additionally in the diplay “Maintenance Gearbox” is urgent. If the automatic has “hanged up” (in the 3rd course) I only have to switch off ignition and restart, then it goes again for a few minutes. The dealer was now the opinion a control part with magnetic switches?? to change about 2000€. Today he has called me, he would have found chips in the oil of the gear and would like to change the gear straight away (about 500€). But I think he just wants to change that, because he doesn’t know where the fault comes from. An automatic transmission after only 99,000 km can’t be. Car never had a trailer operation. Someone knows advice?
