  • Stutter S40 at low speed under load

Hello dear forum, since I am a newcomer, first of all many thanks for the many good information that I have already read with you and which have helped me more often:-) Unfortunately, this time the search did not help me, therefore here the topic: My ’96 S40 1,8 257tkm annoyed me recently with the following behavior: At low speed (1100 – 1700 rpm) a stutter occurs during acceleration. Last year a ignition coil passed over Jordan, the 2nd I (since then a similar behavior was) now also replaced. Unfortunately without success. Unfortunately, also the ignition plugs, the air filter and an oil change are new. Unfortunately, the friendly one (so this means here, or?) on site meant that it could be a cooked thrush flap, I let it clean (One hour work – 95 €!!! is normal) again without speed … Unfortunately again without success (the whole response behavior of the engine has become noticeably better by the various measures) STOTTER?

  • Problem after wash road

Hello dear Foris! Today I thought that I could give my elk “the best” laundry in the wash road at the first sun rays and rising temperatures, and what was the end of the song? The elk became strangely in the wash road to the kangaroo. When I was on the city traffic after I left the wash road, my V40 2.0 only hopped forward in the first and second gear at speeds between 1500 and 2500 revolutions. And this quite unsavory. But the problem also does not occur permanently, but sporadically. The hot, this evening I was shopping again and then it ran as usual completely normal. On my elk the following things are new: timing belts, water pump, zünkers, oil filters, air filters. Perhaps one of you has a flimming idea with what was infected for a virus of the elk in the wash road. Or was it possible only by chance and it had nothing to do with the wash road? Thank you all.

  • My Swede doesn’t do more than 4000 rpm, why?

Hello guys, my Volvo V70 I 2.5 144 hp has been spinning for a few days. It doesn’t spin higher than 4000 rpm and the Vmax is at a good dunches max at 140 km/h. At the front of the engine there’s only a pretty nudity of engine noise and it’s very hard to get into the gears. In addition, my ABS sensor problem has not been solved despite the new sensor. I just don’t know any more and am at the end of my Latin. Error code read out only the ABS problem and no more. Maybe you can help me further, and hopefully it’s just small things. Thank you for many answers in advance Dear greetings to your Maggo

  • V50 T5 Catalyst find no replacement

Hello, I’ve unfortunately fallen through the HU, car is otherwise top! It’s about a 220 HP FWD T5 hand switch. The Tüvler maybe meant the cat is through. But I still ordered the precat probe. I wanted to look at it for fun at home but the dumpsters of previous owners have welded the screws of the downpipe in the back direction of the rear silencer on the flange. So no with “screw up and look up again quickly”. Now I desperately look for this downpipe as a whole in the net and find besides swollen adventure of BSR no spare part! Can anyone help me? I also consider welding a universal cat Euro 4 in, but also here the complete exhaust system from turbocharger has to down and it already makes me gruesome, that the screws on the turbo also get broken and it becomes an act. By the way, the Lambda value was slightly too low (should >0,97 is 0,94) and the Co value is too high here too (should <0,2 is 2,9). Engine inspection was not even since I's a car is running low now and there is no more than 2 years old.

  • Space available driver – decision unfortunately against V60

I had more or less the pleasure of driving a V60 a day to the test a few days ago. I noticed how close it was to the steering wheel – at least for me with 190 cm; before in the sales room it didn’t seem so tight and therefore uncomfortable. I then was with Audi, BMW and MB and compared the space offered with the A4, 3 and the C-Class, in between there are worlds – mindful of the leg clearance. I can understand that the generally low space offered in the V60 is advertised with sporty-oriented design; but at the expense of the driver?! The pinning wheel was of no concern to me during the test drive, since I would have taken the Four C-Fahrwerk. Finally, the lack of leg clearance on the driver’s seat was for me the KO-criterium. In the one-day test I had a cramp in the Wade due to the strongly angled foot 2x. Too bad, otherwise the V60 is a class, processed using top quality materials. Since I did not have a car in the size of a V70, I would have decided to stay here with a new delivery.

  • So guys, ABS ECU.. 😉

Hi guys.. I’ve already taken your help, with the seat heater, and that worked really well..!!! It’s about the same car again, 850 Bj.93.. I clean up the almost completely.. Tooth-rhyme, brakes all around and everything that belongs to it, including a nice polish, as it is red.. tomorrow he gets 2 front wheel bearings, because I used the search function and that also runs… But, there are still 2 problems, 1. the ABS funst as it likes, I would be grateful about information, with photo would be full of horn where, what needs to be soldered again… the control unit is what stands perpendicular to the main brake cylinder or??? is the engine control unit…? Well, if you can help me there I would be as always thankable..!!! Then there is still a problem.. sometimes he just goes out.. 10-30s wait and he runs again… I have already made the cold running controller, but it really helped me that is not known. something else.? ABS.

  • “Afterdiesel” 850 2.5 10V 1996

Hello! My 850 2.5 10V BJ 1996 160tkm has been “dieseling” for some time. This means that if I switch off the car and set the ignition key to zero, the engine is still running a little bit after. This happens about every third time. My friend said “diesel” so far spark plugs and ignition cables have been exchanged. This however not with the desired success. That is a little better it has become. Asks itself only how long. Thank you for a tip

  • Description Timing belt change V 70 2,5 Tdi

Hello Elchdriver, search for description or instructions for the timing belt change V 70 I Tdi. The joke should cost in the workshop approx. 800 € (incl. water pump), there could also be a change of the vibration damper (if it is no longer impeccable), additionally approx. 400 € Since I once learned car mechanic ( Ford), I carry with the thought to do it myself. Does anyone have a description or instruction (tooth belt change) that He could let me come to??? M. f. G. Wolfgang

  • Help at 850 T5 speed up with jerking

Hello! yesterday I bought a 95er 850 T5 automatic. I noticed right at the pick-up already that he runs quite normal with quarter gas but only up to 3000u/min everything that goes on he starts to jerk and when I latch on the kick down then it feels like he wants to switch the whole time again into the kick down although he already has it in use anyway. Today I also read in the description how the display of the turbo pointer should spark but the stands in the middle and does not move! Tubes I found however no loose ones? Today I read out the following codes: Box A socket 1: 311 socket 2: 232, 231, 314 socket 3: 444, 141, 142 socket 7: 113 Have the errors once Googleled and found out that the Lambda, the camshaft sensor and the speed sensor must be from the transmission? Do I lie right there or have someone already had something like that or know how to help? Nockshaft sensor I got worried now but he will only be able to put on the load on me next week but Alex would like to know what to do with the full load on Wednesday with me

  • SH from Venlo is crazy?

Hello everyone! As announced in some other Threat, I was in Venlo on Monday and had the SH of my D5 “refitting” there. By the way, it worked great. The friendly Dutchman did not have my desired appointment ready by fax, but nevertheless my D5 came right into the workshop and a coffee incl. a nice chat with the German-speaking friend there was free of charge. All in all very recommendable. Must my previous opinion about heaters revise: horny thing the Since yesterday however seems to occur a problem with the control software. Give in on the evening my desired departure time (at night e.g. 8:30) and the next morning the SH also runs at 8:40. Even if I then start the engine, it does not go out. I then have to manually place the SH via the BC. Does anyone have a plan that could hide behind it? Thanks and greetings from Stefan, who counts from immediately to the genus of warm showerers and SH-users.
