  • Rear window wiper RU8 no longer does

Meal, driving a Ford Ka RU8 for many years. With the exception of a few small things, nothing had ever been broken, but the rear wiper has not been running for a few days now. Front wiper and spray nozzles at the rear + front still work perfectly. I then looked more closely and found out that the windscreen wiper worked again as soon as I opened the tailgate. At half-opened height the wiper then failed again…. e then found out for something that there were problems with the mass connection of the rear windscreen wiper engine, which was pulled over the rear flap hinge of the tailgate. Therefore I sprayed these with contact spray on the RU8 and exerted some pressure on the bolts…. first did not change but now the windscreen wiper does not work at all with closed or open flap. If someone had similar problems or knows someone like m the windshield wiper gets to run again? Thank you very much,

  • Ford KA RU8 Engine Problems

Hello Have the following problem with my wife’s car (Ford Ka 2012 gasoline) problem was suddenly jerking at 130 on the AB, power loss and engine control lamp on. Expelsen was error P0300 and P0301. Turn off again was error away. When the car was to the Tüv there was also looking. Ignition coil, spark plugs and ignition cables were renewed and error was gone first. After 2 weeks the same problem again, which strengthened but also with slower drive and in the stand noticed Error P0300 and P0301. Now the car is at Ford. The control unit has checked i.e. ignition coil, candles, cables, i.e. compression to 2 cylinders too low Now they want to control the control times and the valve play. But if it is fixed then nobody knows. Does anyone have experience here or knows themselves?

  • Change of wheel: Can’t you get the wheels down?!

Hello, I have a curious problem: when changing tyres in summer -> Winter tyres I solved all the wheel nuts. But I still didn’t get the tire off! It was like baking it! Everything pulled and (one side) didn’t help. Did someone give me good advice on how to get on with it? Is there something like lubricant that I can use to work with the rim/axis? In general: how can a rim make itself so tight? Thank you! koasa

  • Resize future tire width with distance discs?

Good day, I would like to have a somewhat “remarkable” question. I have to add new rims and new tires next summer, because at the moment I drive on 225/45 R17 7×17 ET47. My new planned wheel-tire combination would be 245/35 ZR18 8×18 ET40, on which I would also let my speedometer calibrate, as it otherwise indicates too little (0.9 km/h, to be exact). The speedometer is known to be up to 10 % or 4 km/h too much but no km/h too little. With the help of a “Rei I could find out that the change in the outer edge of the wheel + 20 mm and the change in the inner edge of the wheel + 6 mm would be (see pictures). Consequently, the width of the entire wheel increases by + 26 mm. Now I could theoretically go and measure whether my intended wheel fits into my wheel box. However, since this is too inaccurate for me, my consideration was that I simply because the change in the outer edge of the wheel to my current wheel tyre combination was just I would be happy if someone had already had some experience with this and if this really corresponded with the new wheel in hindsight or if this really fit. Greetings Ravennwest PS: The + 6 mm at the inner edge of the wheel are no problem, because there is still enough space there. PPS: The future wheel is even 3 mm in diameter smaller (roll-off circumference – 0.9%).

  • Was it the same with Formula 1?

The news about the F1 is at present anything but gratifying Renault is probably history, where the French state has to enter to save the company and they have already let the F1 pass. Mercedes will hardly be able to keep up his F1 team if the numbers do not go up rapidly, which is not to be expected. What do you think will go on, a new manufacturer or new team is not in sight.

  • Hello, I’m the new one

Hello! I recently bought an Omega 2,5td Caravan construction year 8.98. Was also often in the workshop with a lot of repairs, luckily everything was running over Kulanz. Now I have a little something I want to repair myself and have the first problem. The wiper water nozzle on the passenger side has too little pressure. The water does not even get to the disc. Will probably be the hose leaking I already thought I could. But I did not know that the hose inside through the body of the bonnet is running. How can I get there. The cables for the nozzle heating run through there too and I don’t want to break anything.I already say thank you for your answers.

  • I once had my omega evaluated

Hello Omega Freaks. I was at the friendly one today and looked around for a caravan. I myself have a limousine with the following equipment: 2.0-16 V , Sport , Built6/98 , km : 53000, TÜV a year ago without defects, accessories : metallic, Automatic , air conditioning automatic , onboard computer, fog lamps, 235/45×17 on Twinspoke rims(by Immscher), CD radio , Xenon lamps , double tube stainless steel spuff , the rest is included in the sports equipment . The car is accident-free and very well maintained The only drawback is a small scratch on the left rear wheel. The dealer offered me a payment of 5500 €. The vehicle I looked at should cost 17.500. Because of the small scratch he pulled me out of 1200 € !!!!! (the whole page must be painted). When I asked him once if this is his last word, he meant: highest 7,000 €, if I should take a new car. What do you mean, but I really want to sell my Ommi because I have a Caravan.

  • Omega A 3.0 12 V

Hi I just wanted to present my experience with the Omega 3.0 12 V (177 hp) inline engine. My father had bought the 3.0 as a combination with 4-speed automatic. In my opinion the engine is really a cream piece !!! His buddy had bought the same car at the same time but with 5-speed manual gear. Both I believe were entered with 220 km/h in the papers. But according to the speedometer both were faster. With automatic: On straight distance approx. 260- 265 km/h !!! !!! according to Tacho (for me to this day hard to understand. ) With handshift: 245 km/h at approx. 6800 rpm in the limiter. The automatic turned even at 265 km/h only approx. 6200 rpm. Both had a fuel consumption of approx. 12 liters even with fast driving !!! Many modern 6-cylinders would be happy if they would consume so much with normal driving mode. My father then sold the car with approx. 100000 KM to a friend. And then again to another acquaintance. The last time I found out by chance, the car now has 385000 KM down and should not have any technical defects up to some rust spots on the body. That’s what I call engine construction !!! But please only the in-line engines !!!! I didn’t hear so much about the V engines. The Vectra I 500 2.5 V6 with 195 Irmscher PS from my buddy had already consumed after 50000 KM 1 liter of oil on 500 KM and was quite at the end !!! GRUß

Hello Motor-Talk. I wanted to encourage you to make your own Honda Africa Twin Forum. The AT community is a sworn-in bunch that meets in other forums at the moment. I suspect that the main reason is that there is no recognition forum here. Gruss w.

  • Questions about Mazda 6 FL Diesel 2018 with AdBlue

Hi I’m busy with the new FL Mazda 6 model. Interested in the MAZDA6 Kombi Sports-Line Plus package has awakened me with the 184 HP diesel machine and four-wheeler! The contribution has helped me very much. The following questions are still unanswered. 1. How big is the AdBlue tank? 2. Which mileage should be achieved with an AdBlue filling? I am aware that it is riding profile dependent, about worth enough! 3. My Insignia A locks the Kpl. Kombiin strument if the AdBlue tank has dropped below 2400KM residual range. Unfortunately, this is the biggest mess since you can not retrieve any vehicle data here anymore, is this also so or you just get a hint and can still turn on all BC data? With empty AdBlue tank it doesn’t start any more, that is known to me because it doesn’t need to be received. 4. Is there a menu item where you can read the tank filling or residual range from AdBlue? 5. Where exactly in the coffee 6. Is a brake wear indicator installed? My Insignia does not have it. 7. Is an interior sensor installed in the automatic climate control system that measures the interior temperature? The Insignia does not have it and does not work satisfactorily accordingly. I would be very happy to answer any relevant questions without asking why. No, I was not yet at the Mazda dealer for time reasons. Since I will probably not make it in August I will try here m Good luck!
