Hello together, since we are about to have the first child, we want to buy (of course) a Volvo. The choice has fallen on the V60 with diesel. Unfortunately, for me the engine range is a bit confusing; if I understand that correctly, the engines were changed at some point BJ15. What is not clear to me: have all the engines since this conversion Euro 6 and all before Euro 5? Has otherwise big something changed? Theoretically, the consumption of the newer engines should be slightly less unfortunately this also seems not to be quite clear to the car dealerships, we looked at today first a supposed Euro 6 which then only had Euro 5… Specifically it is also about: We just took a V60 D2 Ocean Race with EZ12/2015 here in the corner into the closer choice, which is specified by the seller with 115hp and Euro6 – is this combination at all possible? Shouldn’t a Euro6-D2 have 120hp?

Inspection at V70 D II + 50,000 km
Hello together! I have bought my Volvo V70 II diesel 2.4 liters for about 1.5 years now. I used it at the time. At the time of delivery the 2nd inspection was done. Now the car has been annoying for 4 months that I should do the next inspection after all. After the Volvo dealer here in Cologne did not react to an mail, I called today. For the 3rd inspection (with me as mentioned canpp 50,000) they want to have nevertheless smooth 550 euro. In addition still new disk wipers. Here ha b i don’t have a price. I expected 300 euros. But these are prices that are beyond my imagination. And when they find something then it starts. What do you have to pay for prices like this? … or am I just very sensitive???

ABS control unit – Where installed? (Abs lights up..)
Hello Volvo fans, I have a Volvo 850 with which the ABS lamp lights up and I have to pass the Tüv. I have already read a lot and just tap on the cold soldering points (or hope it is) as it is classic with the 850. I have read out the error 4-4-4 was the first one. He cannot be deleted. The lamp does not go out. To the vehicle: Volvo 850, EZ 11/1994, Kombi I would like to expand the control unit and check the soldering points. But I can’t find it. can someone tell me where it is? Would be very grateful about quick help. Sincerely 0x7

Accord CU2 2008 with Premium Sound System => Radio conversion
Hello, and have a good day to everyone…..^^ As the topic already suggests, I have to install a Clarion NX702E in my Accord… There are unfortunately only almost no “completely finished” adapters on sale for the car…. Problems are so far the pin assignments from the plugs and possibly also the Premium Soundsystem…… whereby I have already ordered (I think) an adapter from the USA…. (see link)http://www.autotoys.com/x/pr oduct.php?productid=12430 I took a few pictures here and hope someone can tell me what kind of connection is there or how the occupancy is there……. so that I can build the adapters myself^^ (because Honda “could/want” that so far not) With the picture of the OEM radio backside there are 5 plug-in sockets… 1. = antenna radio 2. = ? 3. = ? 4. = ? 5. = ? (seeming ignition/duration plus/mass/ etc.) Of this is determined a plug for the speaker supply line/pcs rom/ from the power amplifier in the trunk, steering wheel remote control, Parrot hands-free device, display in the cockpit, connections AUX/USB……. only what is what??? O.O. I also made pictures of the power amplifier connections….. Yes I know that the power amplifier is said to only work with the original radio, but why is there then this adapter (for aftermarket radios) in the USA???… I hope here can help me a few people who in most other F oren is much discussed about the problem but I didn’t really find much helpful….

BLIS in urban traffic – error messages and problems
Hey, I wanted to talk to the other BLIS drivers among us. My BLIS doesn’t seem to get along super well with city traffic and sometimes gets annoyed. It comes to the following errors: 1.) Warning right after the start: BLIS: Maintenance required The LEDs and cameras work completely normal, however, as always. BLIS restarting in this case does not bring anything, the message remains. However, if I restart the car, the error message is gone. That happens once every 2 weeks. 2.) BLIS: Camera blocked, corresponding LED flashes This is the most annoying thing about the system. In the dense traffic this message comes several times on my daily routes. Last week the system shot down the bird and played crazy 4 times (!!) on 18km city traffic – sometimes right, sometimes left. Here are several possibilities: a) car restart, BLIS initia It’s new and the error is gone b) let it flash for about 30 seconds, which unfortunately distracts enormously until the camera realizes that it’s not blocked and continues to work normally c) turn off BLIS. If you start it again, the LED flashes but cheerfully on – then you have to wait as with b) until the electronics calm down themselves. I usually only know one with BLIS, but it doesn’t drive in city traffic as I did and had the warning “BLIS maintenance required” never before. Does another BLIS driver know something about this? I am therefore a bit on the foot of the war with BLIS – it is hardly to be used in daylight, because the LEDs are too dark and do not sit in the mirror, as for example with Mercedes, where you always look. In the city it generally brings very little (but is sometimes really helpful), but always I don’t want to turn it off – rarely there are moments where BLIS is helpful. However, I will never fix anything on the system, daf it’s just too expensive with too little use for me. But if there are software updates or little tricks, I’d love to hear them…

Some questions about the V70/2 and the 2.4d/D5
Good day, I am interested in a new old used car. Since we have now bought a caravan for our motorsport weekends and this with 1200Kg is already relatively heavy I have once looked for a V70/2 and found an object of desire (currently a 2.0 T5 in the 850 is my train car, but you notice that it has at the rear 1200Kg clearly at the consumption by 15,8L). For more is unfortunately not the necessary small change available (otherwise it would be an XC70/III become) But now I have a few questions: 1. Electronic problems, a lot of things left and you hear about the P26s, what does this look like with vehicles from Bj.03 ? 2. Are there any special weak points of the P26 which you should keep in mind directly during a visit ? 3. 2.4d/D5 Differences, my parents have an S80 II D5 with 185hp, is it basically the same engine, only with more smoke and without DPF ? Which chess points have these motors and how durable is the automatic in Bez 4. SKN Provides an increase in power to 195hp and 405Nm torque for the 163hp engine, because someone has had experience, how does the automatic react to the increase in torque? I thank you so much for reading and answering the questions. It greets CZEA1989

Interior blower always happens randomly when the vehicle is switched off
Moin together, I have an electronic problem in my Volvo V70 II. Although the vehicle is off and closed, the fan for the interior is randomly operated at the highest level. This can happen after 20 min or after 5 hours. Quite randomly. The blower then until the battery is empty. Then I always have to turn on ignition and it goes off again, or on the adjustment which is in the air conditioning. Therefore, I always jam the battery as soon as I get the W the next morning the battery is empty. I have already changed the climate control unit, got a used one from Ebay, but didn’t do anything, the car still does that. Vlt. there are here which could narrow down something I should look for. Thank you very much, MFG Sascha PS: Sorry, I landed in the wrong subforum, can you still move the thread?

Lowering EJ9 still profitable ?
Hello guys… I’m currently driving an EJ9 BJ 1999 Facelift version and it will probably give way next spring to a BMW 325/328 coupe or Alfa GT. Now I ask if it still cleans up until then still to install lowering springs and what they cost so much. Does that scare people when buying rather off? And maybe I would spice up my boring rather gray interior bitsl in which I would paint the bending plastic parts in car color (silver metallic). t you ? (P.S. The vehicle is still in its original condition except for aluminium rims)
