  • Corolla E11 – V-belt squeaks

    Hello people ! I have a corolla E11 ; built in 1997 ; 1.4 petroler. it is a liftback. have the 4E-FE motor. According to the toyota workshop, the timing belt and the belt were changed at approx. 100000 km. at the moment the car has 134000 km on it. but especially after the start, so if the engine is still cold and I let it run in the stand several seconds later, so that the engine oil is distributed and I then drive away, I notice already at half-entered gas pedal that squeaks a bit in the motor. sounds very much like a loose belt. what else can’t be. someone knows and knows someone with the motor, how to stretch the belt there so that this noise disappears? would help me very much !!! lg, marco

So I compared two vehicles – with surprising result I actually assumed that such a Family Van is not more economical than an SUV.   • CIVIC EG4 Inexplicable phenomenon(??)

    Hello! I hope someone has an explanation for the following phenomenon: My buddy has a 94 EG4. After some time ago the car could only be started after several attempts (starter, but magnetic switch was still on) we changed the starter. A used one was installed. After 2 months also here the same problem. When starting it clicks (not only lightly, so the magnet pulls) and after the 10 attempt it comes then mostly. Now the craziest: If one before O HNE Ignition”one” 5-6 times the accelerator kicks and then the key spins it is immediately there. I am not riffs. I’m a skilled mechanic, I’ve seen many things, but that’s against every logic. Cables and contacts on the starter are top, the accelerator grinds on no cable. Does anyone have an idea what caused these miracles?? Honda himself can’t explain it either. I want to know that, don’t let me rest… Thank you, Tobi81
