  • Fiat Punto 55 S – pay attention.

Hi guys, since my Opel Astra F is due after 1 1/2 years and now 170tkm the TÜV is due and the repair costs are too expensive for me (about 110€, I had paid at that time only 800€) I want to get a Punto now. I wanted to look at this one at the weekend. What should I pay special attention to? What are typical defects with the used Puntos? Are they also as extremely rusty as the Opel? Greeting Maxi

  • Blocking fee against long-term parkers

Just got the mail from EnBW regarding the blocking fee. There is something from cost airbag: “What is the cost airbag? The cost airbag ensures that the charging costs in the EnBW mobility+ tariffs remain fair and are transparent and planable at all times. With the cost airbag we protect those customers who are not able to release the charging point after four hours during a charging process. The cost airbag covers the costs per charging process to a maximum of 11.70 euros (due to the at the beginning of the year again to 19 percent rising VAT from 1.1.2021 maximum 12.00 euros) and ensures that the clock ticks only in the fifth and sixth hour of the connection time at a charging point.” Sounds to me as if the 12€ are included charge. If you would load a battery with 150kwh capacity now, and the charge then costs 150*0.29€/kwh, you would normally pay 43.50€, but thanks to the cost airbag only 12€? If you turned around but only 10 kwh loads in u And then 50 hours left, you pay also max. 12 € Do I see this right?

  • Occasional loader: Charging card necessary or rich apps?

Hello together, if everything is going well, a Peugeot 3008 plugin hybrid will soon find its way into our household. In order to prepare myself I have already loaded various apps and registered with two providers (EnBW Mobility+, Get Charge) as a “opportunity loader”. With both providers you can order a physical charging card at an extra cost. Now the question of questions to the people with experience from the practice: Do you even need physical charging cards or it works like the apps just as easily? At various charging stations nearby, both the app and the RFID charging card would work. Thanks for an experience.

  • Enter 1.8 Civic

Hello, I have a few questions about getting in – especially about the new 1.8 Civic. Mine is to be delivered in August. How do you drive your car? How fast is the 1.8 in the 6th gear with 3500 rpm? How fast is one in the other gears with 3500 rpm? I have always handled it as follows. The first 1000 kilometers never driven at full speed and never turned over 3500 rpm. Of course I deliberately avoided motorways so that the speed is not always constant. Then the speed (almost always without full throttle) slowly increased. Between 1000 km and 2000 km to 4000 1/min. Between 2000 km and 3000 km to 5000 1/min and after 4500 km also once short to the limiter. Of course I warmed the engine before 15 to 30 minutes and I did not constantly turn the engine up. I normally drive up to 4000 1/min with my car through the area. Only with one overtaking and on the highway it becomes a little more. Greetings. Bernd

  • 100000 km or more

After my Focus Bj 2004 rusts like the plague, doors, tailgate and threshold, I decided to buy a car other than a Ford. Interesting is the Logan Kombie ( Platform Renault Megane 1996 to 2001 ). But also everyone with Sandero can register. Most Logans are still quite new, and so it would be interesting for me if there are people here who already have experience with kilometers etc., because the car has been on the market for 5 years. Important, 100 tkm and more, what about the repairs / wear? Are your cars rusting ? e.g. 2005 / 2006 ?

  • Plus or minus for a Logan MCV

I saw a Logan Kombi drive by slowly the other day and I liked it. Then I had a Renault dealer print out an exact price list. Unfortunately they didn’t have a vehicle to look at. What are the advantages and the disadvantages of a Logan MCV 1.6 16V with 105 hp?
