  • Oil change ABC suspension

Hello, After my sold Sl 500 had problems – with approx. 120,000 km tandem pump and immediately after that valve block renewed – I would like to prepare now. Recommendation Mr. Hehlhans and Zädow to change the oil every 5 years or 30.000 km plus additional filters. I have now 11 years and 78,000 km – so anyway already late. Oil color light brown smells not yet burned. What’s your opinion? Happy holiday from Austria Dear greetings Henry

  • Search family-friendly car up to 2000€

Hello, I am a young family father (a child) with a tight budget and just looking for a car up to 2000€ (lov less, ~150€ would be ideal), which will last the next 1-2 years as far as possible. I will commute three to four times a week via the motorway to the neighboring city (about 15km), otherwise the car would be used for shopping trips and occasional family visits in the country. I think that the annual driving performance will not exceed 5,000 – 7,000km. Car must be a 4/5 door (in order to get the baby in the car easily) and an air conditioner should also have it (also because of the baby). In case of doubt I prefer a safer car, even if it would be a bit more expensive in purchase and in ongoing operation. Otherwise I have no special requests except the usual suspects such as robustness, reliability, civilized consumption costs etc. I live in the area Nuremberg. I once looked around at mobile.de and especially geac I would be grateful for your opinions. • Purchase and financing of new cars

Hello, I have a question for you. 🙂 I live in a very well-kept area and currently also earn quite good money. I always wonder how people buy expensive cars? Neighbors of me have a current E-Class T model 350d and a new Range Rover. Both cars I value at 70-80.000 euros each? How do you finance such cars? Do you buy the bar? Or are such vehicles only leased/financed? I bought my 2013 passat for 18,000 euros and found the I don’t know, but if I’m going to drive a new E-Class, do I have to lease it? Or do I save 50,000 euros for 5 years and then pay it in cash in one fell swoop? Classic financing with a small deduction and 30,000 euros end rate are the same only in blue, right? How did you do that? I’d be interested in your opinion and experience, Greeting Andy

  • Take your car with you immediately (300km)

Hi, here’s the thing, I’m still getting started and I have a car in sight. Unfortunately, it’s about 300km away from me. I can’t let go and WILL have it. I’m still confused with the order… I want to do it so that I can pick up the car immediately if I’m on the spot. So don’t drive twice for re-registration, etc. Is that possible? I imagine this something like this: 1. I call the dealer and tell him that I want to take the car with me immediately when I buy it. e. 2. I go to the insurance company and get me the so-called double card. So, but since I don’t have the vehicle tickets yet, so I don’t get the double card either? That means again that I get the papers first, get back, get the double card again, and then pick up the car again? 3. But I’d like to do it all in one. Ginge that? How about these five-day badges? People help me, I really want to get through nander. As I said: – Driving, paying, license plates and then changing with the bought car… That would be my favorite. But this change of registration, license plates, insurances somehow hinders me. Would you be grateful for an explanation. 😉 Ahoi!

  • K&N 57i KIT

The topic has certainly been addressed here several times, but I am thinking about whether I should get a K&N 57 i KIT. Since I have at the moment only the exchange filter of K&N. So with my VR6 I was completely satisfied with the sound etc. is however a huge difference between ner 2.9er and a 1.8 he machine. Has someone installed this one? If so how has the intake noise changed? Would not like to start a discussion now, because quite a lot of people claim it is slo real for the engine (polluting etc…) I think a noticeable increase in power anyway is bullshit, I’m just talking about the sound…. Aso is there a difference in the 180 and 225 he air filters?

  • 407 SW 165 Platinum 2.2

Hello together… this is my first post here !!! Very important: I just bought a 407 SW 165 Platinum 2.2. Used, built in 06/2005, 50,000 km, FULL EQUIPMENT…. I have unfortunately read quite a lot of negatives about this car in various forums. I would actually need a positive statement from a few optimists who drive this car themselves. Hopefully this was not a bad purchase… But in the end you don’t get in it anyway. I have to be careful. On the 05.06.2009 I get the car… My wife and I had the current 207 75 Tendance, but we get offspring :-). Since I don’t like the 308SW so much optically (it’s a matter of taste), we decided for the 407. So, give your statements… Statements about consumption would be great too, thanks greeting Nils

  • What can it be? IMPORTANT !! Ask for help …..

Peugeot 406 SRTD 96. Year of construction 230000KM. I had big start problems about 2 months ago, it turned out that all four incandescent rods were over. The once exchanged the car started the first two days without problems. But then again the same game…..just that this time it is not as bad as then. If the car stands over night and I want to start it then he does not immediately go on but only after two to three try and I have to operate the accelerator and the conclusively There is a big diesel cloud in the back……but then he drives without any problems and can even be started again without any problems. Today, however, it seemed a bit strange to me………..in the early after my first start attempts, I noticed the engine noise in the interior a little different than usual.. The engine sounded “bassier”, he said a little bit more than usual and the vibrations in the interior were also stronger than usual. without problems he drove to work and had no problems except that the engine sounded a little different. On the way home he suddenly went off when starting in the first walk………. again he wanted to leave and he went out again……….again I could continue without problems. Was then still refueling…….driving from the gas station about 10m further he went out again………restarted wanted to leave and left again……then let go again Once I was able to continue without problems. When the engine dies, only the usual lamps start (STOP, BATTERIE, BREMSE, OIL) when the engine starts again, all lights start again. I know something in the last part but I wanted to describe the problem as well as possible Still something………when I changed the glow bars at the time, the mechanic said that the middle injection nozzle was not completely dry anymore…… on which there was some oil on it…… could d he problems related to this??? what I have already exchanged: Clutch Air filter Fueled incandescent rods Ask for advice and thank you in advance.

  • To buy or not to buy…

Good day together I’m about to buy a new old car. I’ve seen a beautiful 406 coupé for just under 15’000 francs (just under 10’000 euros). 6 years old, silver, V6 with automatic, winter and summer tires on original aluminium, 46’000 km. The car looks absolutely perfect inside and outside. Neither scratches nor dents in the car, the leather is absolutely new and it has always been waiting in the contract workshop where I could buy it with a year warranty. On the test drive has not, glared or creaked, even if I have been whipped around the curves with squeaking tires (ESP off!).What should I pay special attention to? Where are the weak points? Thank you for your tips and greetings from Switzerland Richard

  • Decision problem: Diesel or petrol°_°

Moin moin, I’m wearing a 407 to buy a geek. So far I’ve been able to read a lot and learn a lot about it. But I can’t decide when it comes to motorization. About diesel-rechner.de the 2.0L HDI comes to me about 90€ cheaper a year than a petrol. I thought about the 2.2L petroler. My problem is that I don’t drive the terrible routes during the week 8km to work, 2-3 km in lunch break and again 8km home. My concern is that the diesel takes the frequent short distance during the week badly. Since I am actually a convinced diesel driver, I would not be deterred by total extra costs (tax, insurance etc.), but I don’t want to buy a car for about 14,000€ and then scrap the engine after 4 years or so. Vll. can help here someone who knows more about engines than I do (and that won’t be difficult 😉 ) Thanks already for your help!

  • Showdown TESLA vs. Auto Motor Sport ;Press Invitation Electromobility in the Hardness Test of Reality

SOURCE”A practice range test with many electric cars is to be put to the test next Saturday from/to Hilden near Düsseldorf some statement by car journalists and testers. Therefore I gladly share the following press release and invitation for next Saturday. We will also report… Invitation of the Tesla driver and friends TFF e.V.: Saturday, 23 August 2014 at: •9:30 am to the press breakfast with start of the electric vehicles at 10 am •16:00 am to the result presentation after the last e-vehicles have been re-entered with press coffee board •Or: They report in detail through a ride in one of the e-vehicles and are ready to start from 9:30 a.m. (especially interesting for TV and good photos) •While the vehicles are on test drive, there is the possibility to interview Ulrich Hopp and Roland Schüren Ladepark Hilden at your bakery SchürenLocation: Ladepark Kreuz-Hilden c/o Ihr Bäcker Schüren Mühlenbachweg 9 40724 Hilden Dear editors u and editors, in the AMS for the Tesla Model S a range of 184 km was determined at a constant 120 km/h. This has led the futurist Lars Thomsen, founder and chief futurist of future matterers, to offer the AMS a bet, bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet be be be bet bet bet bet bet be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be bet be bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet bet be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be be After an initial commitment, the AMS has now pinched and canceled the bet. No wonder, the ranges at this speed are about 350 … 380 km in practice. You can personally convince yourself of this. On Saturday, 23 August, electric car drivers meet at the Charging Park Kreuz-Hilden, bakery aprons, in order to put the test under real everyday conditions as best as possible. If you want to be there yourself during the ride, contact us in time. For separate test rides, please bring your driver’s license with you. Something must have gone wrong in the ams 16/2014 on pages 94 to 100. The electric car comparison test, which was described by editor-in-chief Jens Katemann in the editorial as “…newly designed, based on the requirements of the driver everyday life… El S at a constant 120 km/h only 184 km far. Strangely only that all Model S drivers drive about twice as far. But also the Nissan Leaf were awarded unrealistic ranges and the Renault Zoe was not tested at all. Since the AMS did not want to mention the exact test arrangements even on multiple requests and also did not publish readers’ letters, we decided to do the test in the real everyday reality as well as it goes. We invite you to do this. he AMS and Mr. Bloch of course also one. Even more important to us is the invitation to you. We look forward to your appearance! We will prove that many test results of the AMS are wrong – especially with the Model S. In addition, all six E-vehicles tested by the AMS with cruise control 120 km/h go on the highway until the battery is empty (BMW i3, eGolf, Nissan Leaf, Smart eD, Tesla Model S, Renault Zoe instead of Renault Twizy). Supplemented by a group with cruise control 90. More details about the Testano We will be happy to inform you on request about the results of the event. It will be exciting to follow the turnaround reports and the results of the race. Tables are reserved in the bakery shop with a café and a view of the loading park. In any case, a car transporter is on standby. We expect at least 24 participating e-vehicles and others coming from the entire federal area for the presentation of results. We look forward to your appearance and your feedback.” r drives from the TESLA Nörglern here in the forum ? Motortalk could also send in jmd., ride with the model S, then you see live like the AMS all fucked up!
