A greeting to everyone, I am about to order a C4 and thought of the 1.6 16 V as motorization. Now I read here several times critical assessments of this engine, without, however, these would be justified more precisely. I am anything but an expert, can someone tell me something about the weaknesses or also strengths of this engine?

…and now to something completely different…heico-chip-tuning!
Halli, hello, I myself, old tuning-muffel, am interested in a Heico chip tuning for my D5 (version without sports exhaust system for 1510 € 190 hp, 390 Nm). I would like to ask some questions about what people here think of their tuning in hindsight with experience…still so euphoric??? I’m a rather carrier driver and a sporty driving way does not appeal to me. I just want to get a little better “from the spot”. Can one like me recommend a tuning? Does the tuning in “normal” n” operation is noticeable at all? Thank you for every answer (I know that the topic must be taken up by everyone here). Ciao, Tom

Cruise control
Hi, I’ve also had an XC70 D5 for a week now. I like the car, even if it seems a little weak on my chest at the moment with 165 hp. Maybe that’s after driving in … I have a question about the cruise control: if I want to turn on the thing as described in the manual (press the cruise button on the steering wheel) though ‘Cruise’ appears in the display, but otherwise nothing (no speed I could set via +/- on the steering wheel). Am I too stupid or correct what about the SW not ?? Greetings and good ride, snkeeper

MBUX – Information on the radio ‘Widget’ ?
For two weeks I have been observing the following: Without recognizable logic, the current song title in the second line is displayed in the “small” radio widget (bottom left) sometimes for FM (but also for DAB), but often not. The same applies to the station logo or (only for DAB) info tiles, which are sometimes present, sometimes not. Does MBux have a special logic or adjustment options? I am used to more clarity from other vehicles. e: WDR2 displays information boards with changing text and graphic information in DAB+ instead of the sender logo (similar to a simple website). In the MBux, however, this can only be displayed very small (in the radio widget illegible), you can open it a bit better. The sender carousel (where the graphic would have a usable size) shows only the non-changing tile with the sender name and logo. For this purpose, there are settings or tricks to display these info pages in legible size to l assen. (hyper-)screen-estate is sufficient.

EQE 350 – Charging power
Hi together, I have changed from Tesla MY to an EQE. In the app as well as in the car I find no way to limit the charging power. Especially with PV this is very important for me. Am I only blind or is this really only possible with the charging system Pro Set? Look forward to your support.

New car maintenance
Hello, I’m just thinking about whether I should do something good for the new one in terms of care. As far as the paint is concerned, I would wait until spring, until then only grow in the SB-Wäsche or something, and then apply this liquid glass. Or is the washing system recommended before? With all the dirt on it, the paint can actually only get scratches, right? And the leather interior… If the Alezan leather in the C4, you should have an impregnation or something like that. Ngen? Or can it be cleaned even later in the case? What did you do with your new cars? Cu Heiko P.S. Problems in LPG/Autogas operation; error messages; diagnostic aids… Hi, this is a help call to all who have a little experience with Mitsubishi Galant and Autogas… I have since yesterday the problem that mine no longer wants to consume car gas. It gets warm, turns on, squats briefly (keep fighting for it, it also goes off) and goes back to the petrol operation. The gas tank is however full, just like the petrol tank. I have now driven about 16,000km with gas and had So far no major problems with, except that the engine warm light always turned on, which had not yet been completely fixed by several workshop visits. Does anyone know if one can buy a diagnostic device, which I do not have to drive from the gas system to the workshop for every small error in order to have it read out?How much does such a part cost for my car? Hello people you read this page-have me a new Lancer 1.6 16V MPI Intense in the AH looked at in blue and I have already driven sample. The speedometer showed 8km. The negotiations still run. The interest rate is 5.7%. The house price is 16800€. Radio and registration I get free. Momo-Lenkrad , 16” Alu’s , Alu-Sport-Pedale , Domstrebe , NSW and Spoiler kit are already installed. My 11 year old Nissan Combi take them in payment at a good price because I Alu’s and WR Who can tell me about the car experiences, as well as tips and advice before signing the purchase contract at the end of the month. Defected parts after a workshop visit at BMW?
Good day, after a callback campaign from KBA (technical action battery plus cable) my vehicle had to go to the dealer in order to have an additional battery cable installed there. The description of the KBA: Error in plug connection of the battery plus cable can lead to the failure of the vehicle electrics and the engine. I have my BMW 5 years and never had any problems. One day after the repair at the dealer dealer, my BMW stopped at the first ride out of the underground garage. the description above. How can this be? After a fault diagnosis it probably came out that the exhaust gas return device is defective, new price approx. 200,00 €. Who believes it will be soulful. What would you cause? It is obvious that the problem only came about as a result of the repair. Here there is a safety risk that has arisen, I could no longer steer the vehicle!

Preheat RAM 2500 6.7 Cummins Diesel
Hi, I have a question that everyone probably knows and everyone has their own opinion about it. You should have an engine, if it is cold not run in the stand, because it never gets warm and you destroy it even more so the statements of many. The new RAM 2500 has like many also a remote ignition function, to let the engine run warm. Of course then only in the USA allows for example. How does such a monster diesel behave, if you let it tucker in the stand? Does it just run like any other other cars also only with stationary gas, or does there run a procedure which should bring the engine to operating temperature? According to the Geiger so the engine should be warmed up so that then the same heavy loads can be pulled with its 1175NM. Especially if you want to go off the car again and turn on again, so that all functions are available. I just care whether this as you say does not harm the engine rather.
