  • Cover no longer opens, R129 / 1991

Hello together. The roof has closed normally and could not be opened the next day. The roof switch flashes, no click of the relays (deck control housing open) also the windows remain above, i.e. the whole process is not started all fuses (in the trunk ) checked, on the control unit I suspended 12 V voltage, battery 24 hours. Already two years ago I had the same problem, then cover control unit 129 820 00 97 (07) replaced. or another hidden fuse? Thank you in advance

  • Survey among SL drivers (R129 only!)

I drove over the motorway for a longer time today and overtook four SL drivers in a period of about three hours, all of whom (so really without exception!) have distinguished themselves by the following characteristics: 1. They were closed (no, it was really very hot today…) 2. They were sitting alone in the car (no more wife? Or don’t want the Ilse?) 3. They were driving between 120 and 140km/h (saving money or saving material or both?) 4. They were wearing a upper lip beard (somehow uncool 5. They were older men over 60 (experienced men, therefore 3rd, 4th and 6th?) 6. They drove a R129 (the model I really like! That’s why I noticed the cars too) Was that really a coincidence? I don’t believe in chance! So my five questions in the context of this survey are: 1) Do you drive in great heat (38 degrees!!) also closed? Or is the roof broken and why? 2) Do you live alone and is the SL your replacement for women? And how often do you drive? You tell him, we say in the week? Has this increased? 3) Do you sneak longer distances too slowly – and why do you do this when you drive such a fast car!? Does it? No money? Health reasons? 4./5.) Are you Oliba carriers over 60 and do you still find your beard full horny? 6) Is the vehicle model typical for single, weather-sustaining and older obibabers with a tendency to feel comfortable? I come at some point also at this age and there I want to be al einnorden 🙂

  • Installation Dension Gateway 500 in SL R230 BJ 2006

Hello everyone, I bought myself a SL500 with the year 2006 and would like to install the above-mentioned iPod interface with Bluetooth adapter. With my previous SLK I have had the Comand Gateway in the passenger footroom, but is located in the SL of the BOSE Subwoofer, so now the question is where can I find the control unit for the Comand or do I have to pull the Comand forward? I thank you already in advance for your help. e and wish sunny greetings from Hamburg, Andrzej

  • Available engines

Hello together, who can tell me why there is no (more) the diesel engine with 116 hp in the Arona. At least I don’t find the engine in the configurator, but there are offers in the second-hand market with this engine. Thank you already in advance. Greeting Bernd

  • Tacho lighting???

Naaabbbeannndd…. I recently bought 4 super bright blue LEDs with glass socket mount for the speedometer lighting. Does also super only work unfortunately the light is still too dark and uneven, apart from that the red areas and the 50km/h line garnet shine… Sooo…and I recently read somewhere that the Omega A was to be obtained with both white and green speedometer lighting. Is that true? If yes…one knows why the lighting is grürü Is there a green foil on the back of the tacho disc? So it was then with my Sierra… Then I would look that I get blue foil and then glue it from the back onto the tacho disc and cut out the red areas. To do this I replace the 2W glass base lamps with 5W pears for the lighting. One other idea? Would be grateful for tips.. MFG Alex

Hello , I am Andy and new here ! My Omega 2,5 t ,d Caravan Bj 11 /1999 drives me crazy ! Km 245 000 My automatic transmission spins . Has dropouts , or do I feel as if it somehow slips through . Engine turns up and then it packs again . Also at the kick-douwn . ! ? ? Lose powerful oil . Also at the over or (under pressure ) ? can exhaust gas recirculation . ? ! Engine compartment is super oily . Have done everything clean . But nobody can definitely help me . Motor Spri Bosch and Opel want to renew the diesel pump / gearbox and much more at Utopian prices. Or they tell me to sell the cart. Buy yourself a new one. And now somehow the steering is harder than if the servo does not support properly. ! ? Someone has any procedure ready. Or am I really a hopeless case. Greetings to all.

  • Compulsory stop on the motorway

I stayed on the track today with my Ommi. The whole thing went as follows: I am on the track with about 160 things, when suddenly without warning the speed drops to 0 and the car rolls out. At the same time the on-board compi reports “Automatic gearbox” and the indicator light of the motor electronics lights. Whether at this moment the engine was still running, I do not know, but the steering was still smooth. When I came to a stop slowly on the stand strip, the steering became weak. All attempts to start the engine again failed, and I could have been taken from the towing service to the fork. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on there? Before I have this checked in the workshop on Monday, it wouldn’t be bad if someone had a tip on what could come to me so that I wouldn’t get into a coma right away…
