Hello together, have converted with the mentioned module to operation with E85. Have no cold start problems. Only problems in working warm condition: – At a speed between approx. 80 and 100 km/h he jerks (lambda approx. 0.760). – When operating with tuning switch (at accelerator pedal) sporty set slightly less jerk. – I switch off the modulator – actually everything runs normal – although E85 is driven. Does anyone have advice for me? MfG Martin B.

Diesel & ethanol instead of petrol
Do not ask how I come up with the idea…. Just discuss if it would be possible, maybe someone has tried it. About the why we talk later… In the Exx is normal gasoline, now my question: ginge not also diesel? The whole now not for the diesel engine, that is irrelevant and will destroy it rather… It’s about a stink normal Otto engine – operated with a mixture of diesel and ethanol – pretending to be an E70-E90 ratio… I want h in which Fred doesn’t talk stupid, it’s really the question, could it work? What problems you might have (summer/winter…)? How could you solve it? Thanks for a lively participation… PS: If someone thinks I’m all ballaballa now… Don’t worry, it’s already got its reason – it’s still an idea….

Are winter tires dangerous in summer?
Hello, I ask this question in the Porsche Forum because technical questions are discussed in detail here. I have heard the following story over several corners over the weekend: An acquaintance has crashed on the highway, he had a tyre pitcher. He drove a large American jeep with winter tires. Since he had borrowed the car, he did not know that it was equipped with winter tires. The police now blamed him for not having to drive winter tires in the heat. Is this why it is a safety risk to ride winter tyres in the summer? Do winter tyres dissolve at high temperatures and burst more easily than summer tyres? Many greetings

Conditions for members of the works
Hello, I would be interested to know how much you have to pay for the cars as an employee of Porsche. Know only the conditions with another manufacturer. An acquaintance told me something of 200€ per month for a boxster. Is this realistic? Please look forward to your answers. LG Porschepeggy

Experience with the connectivity of the DFSK Fourthing 4
Hello, I’m interested in the Fourthing 4 and I have a question about connectivity. I would particularly like to have a reliable hands-free device, the use of Google Maps and the music playback via Spotify. Has any of you already had experience with the system? Does everything work smoothly or are there restrictions (e.g. connection interruptions, poor voice quality on calls or problems with app compatibility)? Thank you in advance! Best regards

Piston damage and identification
Good evening, I disassembled the engine of my S3 (Bhz Ea113) today and these pistons (in the appendix) were installed. These white on all 4 cylinders jumps on the piston shirt on the side of the piston (the impacts on the piston shirt come from the broken ceramic of the spark plugs). In my opinion, they did not withstand the performance (ca 550ps at 2.0 bar charging pressure) So now to my questions: Does someone have any other conjecture or idea which created the jumps? And someone knows about which I can’t find a brand or part number on the things.

Damage to diesel engine after too high oil levels?
Hello diesel engine specialists, I need your help. What happened? I have a light motor vehicle (moped car) with a diesel engine Lombardini LDW 502. This is a 500 ccm 2 Zyl. 4-stroke diesel suction engine. For this I made an oil change and filter change and after the refill of the oil level was about 5mm above the upper mark on the oil rod (addition for the new (empty) oil filter. At the first start after the change the engine started at high speed. That sounded not normal and I immediately switched off the ignition after approx. 2-3 seconds running time at high speed. I released some oil again, so that the oil level is between the min and max brand. The motor can be rotated by hand on the flywheel (at the shaft output) and has noticeable compression. Here is my question to the specialists: Can I now start the engine normally again or must preparatory work be carried out? What is to be done? I hope you can help me and am grateful f for helpful contributions. Greetings, Fritze

Toyota D: Red threatens
Quotation: The Japanese car manufacturer Toyota is struggling with difficulties on the German market. Toyota Deutschland GmbH will have to accept significant losses in profits in the current financial year 2007/2008 (31 March) and will clearly miss the net profit of last 21 million euros. “We are happy if the number turns black”, says Managing Director Markus Schrick of the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”. Overall, Toyota will sell around 14,000 cars less in Germany than in the year. or. The new Auris compact model will probably miss the sales target of 22,000 cars by 2,000 units, said Schrick. Toyota is experiencing “only” what is happening to most manufacturers in the shrinking German car market: With the increase in VAT, the figures for new registrations have fallen significantly since the beginning of the year. Schrick continues to see Toyota on a growth path because the market share is climbing. Currently, this is 4.3 percent. “We have hardly touched the strategic investments, only the advertising is slightly withdrawn,” he says. Source: This should end the wild speculation and discussions about the Auris approval numbers …
