  • Mazda motors Skyaktiv and Skyaktiv X – Construction Extreme – which one??

Hello, I don’t want to know what is different to other engines that I know. I’m interested in the advantage of constructions. What makes the engines so different? How much fuel do they consume to conventional constructions? Suppose you would take a conventional Mazda engine with the same cylinder capacity and PS. What can the Skyaktiv do better? I find both so fascinating. But has the new construction been worthwhile? Do you remember the optimized combustion of the X engine? Are there surprises? differently asked: Is a Skyaktiv motor worth moving? Bye

  • Some questions MX5 NA

So, my MX5 NA 90PS Bj.95 has just rushed through the TÜV with timpani and trumpets. The most important points: – At the AU the CO2 value went straight through the ceiling, far away from Gut&Böse. Tips for troubleshooting, there are with the NA any usual suspects (lambda probe, CAT) which are most likely the culprits? Who can diagnose this exactly (repair should not be done in the workshop, AU after repair at the TÜV there included in the inspection fee)? r replacement? – Thresholds in the back, I am one of those who didn’t know that you should check the water drains of the rain channel regularly and break them free. Is there any repair plates for this area or only complete sleepers? The TÜV would already be satisfied with its own statement with a blared sheet metal, but I would prefer to use a fitting piece. Further question that has nothing to do with the TÜV: At ~120tkm(?) the timing belt was changed. a problem (which was probably constructive in this year of construction) which made it necessary to stick on one of the timing belt wheels. The workshop’s former statement: A further change is now unfortunately no longer possible. The car now has 250tkm on the clock, and since it is still possible to bring the thing through the TÜV again I would consider a timing belt change. Workaround to that? Greetings & thank you very much, Toenne

  • MX 5 NB FL exhaust problems

Hello, I have a MX5 NB FL 2003 with 25000Km. The car is about 5 months in my possession and I noticed some time ago that the car makes a kind of re-ignition in the exhaust after driving. So about 10-30 sec after switching off comes another audible “plopp” out of the exhaust. Since I have not got the car so long, I do not know if this was always there or if that is normal. Then I drove into the workshop and asked once if they could measure the ignition coil, we 1. Is the sound normal or do I have to be afraid of my cat? 2. Bzw prefer to let the ignition coil be measured? Still for information, I have had a flapper grouse from the vicinity of the cat some time ago when I was standing at the current engine (at the traffic light). But it is gone again and it seems to have been only a heat protection sheet that has sunk in the stand. cht exclude that it was the cat who has already said goodbye Stand speed is quiet and gas is also accepted well from 4000 rpm. Also from 100km/h he does not make sluggish….can also be subjective that I don’t notice the difference…don’t have the car as said so long. So everything still speaks for an intact cat or ignition coil. mfg

  • Tuning my 4.7 ltr machine ????

Hello Jeep friends, everywhere you hear from tuning over chips, exhaust system etc. Improved combustion more performance better exhaust values and less consumption should be the positive results of these measures. What about all the talk???? The topic I put here for discussion. Certainly here are competent people who can give us lay people explicit information about this. Be very happy about it…. This is a really great platform, come again and again gladly E on it. MfG and all time good ride

  • Excessive tax on off-road vehicles

Hello only to the informant the following link, in which the new legislation, which already applies from May, has been improved:http://www.bgblportal.de/BGBL/bgbl1f/bgbl106s3344.pdf There is little leeway to be taxed differently for off-road vehicles except they only need another seat next to the driver’s seat. The whole thing doesn’t have to be commented on, it also shows how our politicians in the EU cook their own soup. This is because it goes past the EU directive.

  • Expedition

I could not find any information about expedition in Asia (mountain regions) with Mercedes vehicles. Mostly Toyotas or Defenders are needed for these purposes. Also the international organizations that work in Ostlasender (BP, UNO and s.w.) have either Toyota Land cruiser or Defender (very rarer). At the beginning of 90 the also NIsan Patruls had the (according to the drivers) were not so good. Engine weak for the mountains. Not good in snow (also in Gebirgige Pro) Toyotas (Land cruiser 100) also not very good in snow and bog. I myself have seen several times “helpless” Toiotas who have pulled oxen out of the moor. In Georgia several offroad drivers (Jaegers and Turistiche companies) are of the opinion that Mercedes landing cars are better (at least for these areas) than the other cars. Another very important thing – According to drivers Merzedes goes clearly rare Kaput after expeditions. Of course it is about large cars and not around Niva, UAZ and S.w. Someone has an idea. thank you in mainly

  • CIAO MUSA

Hello to each other, at this point I would like to say goodbye as an active LANCIA owner, since I will now hand over my MUSE/A. a decision that I did not like easily but was necessary due to the rising loss of value of the car. and I can only separate myself “easy” because we will keep a MUSA in the family (since 02/2013 in black). my recommendation with the MUSA platino, which has now made 82,000 km since the end of 2009 is really great. there were no problems with this really very comfortable and spacious vehicle. long rides were never a problem (even if the MUSE is really not a race horse). but you come comfortably – very comfortable – from A to B and also sometimes to C ;-). simply ingenious and spacious. because you should have to invite something before the OBI … then always “bella”. we are addressed to the vehicle, because it is noticeable and just not on every corner. negative is d he really dramatic loss of value of the brand. in part this is spoken by the fiat group artificially to death and destroyed with a gratis marketing. but the resale value of the brand is simply a tragedy, considering the equipment of the vehicle (Platino, almost with full equipment). a colleague with a brand new DELTA is currently similarly bad. pity that every boring 0-8-15 small car goes better over the loading table. negatively also that the – say we times – “overall” dealer network, which has since been rolled up centrally by large chains. the pure lancia dealers seem as frustrated by the situation as many owners because they remain seated on the car. whether that may be the reason for the part of Krude’s behavior towards their customers? you don’t know … but a dealer network with more competition is certainly not a disadvantage for the customer and good for customer service and friendliness. with a laughing and a wine And so I will leave the MUSE and hope the new owner will like and appreciate the car as I do. all lancias (and the brand also) continue to drive long and good! markus PS. not meant quite seriously: “A car must not be treated like a human being – a car needs love.” – Walter Röhrl –

  • Buy Lancia Musa Oro?

Hello together! I wanted to buy a Musa model 2006 next week. My questions would be: Does anyone know about the model? Experienced values? What is the quality of Lancia or Fiat? High maintenance or repair costs? If it is possible with about € indication. I find the Lancia visually very appealing, but I don’t necessarily want to invest a lot of money in a car, which is not worth it in the end. I would be grateful for your help! Martin P.S. Really objective opinions would be important to me ig.
