VW Lupo Folding Roof
Hello, I have the problem with my Lupo folding roof that it closes the last 3 to 5 cm no longer over the engine because this is really very difficult to walk, I then always have to turn by hand with the crank the last few cm. Had not bothered me in itself, but it is unfortunately so difficult that today the crank has broken when turning on the engine, which is why I ordered a new engine. Now of course I don’t want the same thing to happen to me again with the new engine, why my question is what I have to do so that the engine closes the roof again from itself. mfg Overroller

Extracting oil from the EA 211 engine series
Can the engine oil be extracted from the EA 211 – here I am particularly interested in the TSI 1.4 liters. I know from the repair book that the engine has a two-part oil tank. The upper level of the tub has breakthroughs in some places. Unfortunately, one cannot see from the pictures where the oil measuring rod extends. However, since the measuring rod should logically protrude into where the oil level is well measurable I think that an access to the oil tub floor is given. That means one should also get to the bottom of the tub with an extraction pipe. So is it possible with the suction to suck the entire oil or is there a special indication from VW whether suction is possible or not? (Please no discussion about meaning or nonsense of oil extraction ). Thank you

Different thought π V70 T5 craft object
Hello dear lovers, have seen a V70 T5 Bj 98 the day before yesterday. Today I looked a little more closely and would like to do the part to me. Is nevertheless a little more space than in the C70 . Now to the facts: the part is quite rocked down and accordingly there is a lot to do. The car stood about 2 years and blows something out of the exhaust. Brakes around must be renewed, shock absorbers are due, axle bearing rear, timing belt should be made, low oil outlet from the valve cover seal, switch for window lifter behind quite defective (the in the driver’s door), leather seats are completely finished (should be long-term eh fabric seats pure). Various scratches and small bumps, hood lock left hangs. ABS lamp burns (probably sensor according to the owner’s statement; KFZ master) Equipment: Navi from Volvo (without CD) Climate automatic, stand heater, window lifter round, glass sliding roof, and the other standard equipment like Popotoaster… switching gear 230,000 km 2 engine jumps easily and can’t be the next stage?

Belt straps at the rear too? Volvo 850
moin, I stumbled over an info that many cars don’t have a belt strap at the back and so the passengers drive insecure at the back than the front. So I’m not talking about these things that stop the belt when you jerk at it, but these parts that suddenly shorten / tighten the belt in the event of a crash. Now I’m wondering, since when does it exist and does the Volvo have it in the back, if it has any at all.

V70 – Sliding roof no longer goes backwards
Until the night before yesterday evening my glass-slide canopy still worked perfectly. No problems. Yesterday morning I wanted to drive it back – so completely open …. just tilts down in the back, but doesn’t drive back. I can also close it again, i.e. it goes up in the back and is closed again correctly. Also I can lift it up in the back and close it again. ….. just doesn’t want to drive back. Someone’s idea of what the spirit has given up?

Lupo, 1.0 ALL runs idle at approx. 2000-2500 rpm
Moin, had cleaned the throttle valve at mienem Lupo, because it went out at the traffic light or similar. Since the run it runs very unevenly at 20001/min. I already have another, uses throttle valve installed and learned, but no improvement. Error memory was also read out, but nothing in it. Hope one knows the problem and can help me.

c30 buy used diesel?
Hello dear forum, since I have to pull off a lot of km in the next time (working way) I am looking for a new car at the moment. originally I wanted to buy nen golf 5 diesel, but really everyone drives it… and since I saw the c30 for the first time, I’m really impressed with the design – and it’s also individual… but now to my actual question: I plan to buy a c30 (2.0d) used, because I can’t afford a new one for monentan π this should be: – max. 45.000km – climate automatic – cd player with aux-in – multifunction steering wheel – alus would also be quite good – tempomat – e-window – and the usual krims-krams halt… I don’t want to spend more than 16.000β¬ – of course less…. is the c30 2.0d long-lived enough? rides in the year about 30tkm to 85% autobahn…. is there any weak where you should pay attention to a vehicle?

RTI upgrade by 3000 euros???
Dear Community, I ask myself after a week with the Garmin NΓΌvi 360 (which should be one of the best external Navis) if I should not invest the well 3000 Euro and have an RTI retrofitted. Professionally I need the Navi about 1-2x per week. After I first had an integrated Navi with my Z4 I am spoiled a bit above all: – if I drive into longer tunnels no external Navi continue to count, but always “…no reception…” – after I drive out of my garage (with tunnels about 1-2 minutes) it takes about 3 minutes until Garmin locates itself – no TMC (involving traffic messages…) – If I have switched on the radio, let me navigate and at the same time the phone people because we are hectic, if the systems are not coordinated with each other. After I have now for a week my xc90, almost 1000 km drive, this has happened to me already 3-4 times. If I have built in RTI, this would be a little coordinated So dear Community is worth it to your RTI to equip me with your Regardi?

More aluminium in the interior (wood decor repainted) with IMAGES!
More Alu in the interior (e.g. wood decor repainted) with BILDERN! Hello! Since several forum members asked for it, here a few pictures (in total 5) of the slightly changed interior of my silver-coloured V70-II, 2.4T, Premium, man. Circuit, year 2000. To remember, I had repainted the existing 5 wood decor strips, installed aluminium trim rings, switched levers. To the wooden decor strips again: I removed the 5 wood decor strips, brought them by spray box on aluminium look (with spiritus cleaned, 3-fold silver/alu-painted and 3-fold clear lacquered within 2 days) and again neatly installed. (The insertion and removal of the decorative strips was the most difficult in this case, because for this all door coverings had to be made and the ledges themselves with too much and often poorly achievable clamp rings are attached, which have to be carefully pulled off and put on again. Gottseidankt was also this infinite fummeledei at some point, but the new look was not worth the Alu-P, but I still want to look at Alu-P.
