I will decide between a Mercedes C 200, built in 1997 with 136hp and 160,000km (2,900€) and a Golf IV 1.6, built in 1999 with 101hp and 115,000km(4,900€) I buy the car from a workshop and get 1 year warranty, both cars are well maintained and at first sight in good condition. How likely is it that it comes to repairs, and are these then really so extremely expensive in the C-Class than in the golf? For maintenance and repairs I have to pay myself. If yes, when exactly?) - MB E-Class from BJ 2003 - VW Passat Variant 2.0 from BJ2007 It will be a family car for 2 adults + 1 toddler The following things are important (order without rating): - Reliability - large trunk - ISOFIX - adjustable rear bench, height between reversed rear bench and sky should be as large as possible, I am grateful for dimensions, since I have never found them before. - Automatic transmission - Safety As far as s o good, that's all I can think of at the moment. So if you know, for example, the trunk dimensions, the equipment with isofix or the height between folded back bench and sky, please support me in my purchase decision.
