Hello like-minded people. In July, after some searching, I enjoyed a specimen which was already extremely close to my requirements. It is a GP3 with approx. 126’km. I also like to drive the car very much. Wouldn’t like to get out of the car at all. But well… there’s also a life outside of these rolling juices. Is really a class car that doesn’t fit into the VW Group at all. Unfortunately, now noises are coming up that make me nervous at every start. It sounds like a whining/singinging in idle run. At higher speed it gets less. At higher temperature, too. Well, my question….if it’s the pulley rollers – how long do they last? Do you hear a water pump damage before and how does it sound? Oh yes….the dealer had had the tooth belt changed before delivery. Is now no 3000km ago. Then I’m still interested in the running behavior of the V8. I usually know a very quiet run. With my speed fluctuations of about 30 to 40 rpm, which I can feel in the interior. In case of error, however, there is no problem memory?

conspicuous and grim sound at the GP4 TDI
Hello Phaetonists, in the 60 tsd. inspection nobody could help. For about two months at 1100-1400 U a loud resonance noise, even minimal vibration on the body, is noticeable. From 1500 U, think then the turbo uses, it is less noticeable, or is perhaps also overlaid. When driving in towns/city after starting at traffic lights, it is particularly annoying. In the fault memory nothing is stored, probably primarily mechanical nature. Can it come with air mass controller or defect from the turbo? The engine bearings which are hard placed, via underpressure control it is apparently not according to the workshop. Now enough, who of you has met similar synthesizers or has a guess which makes sense to check. Greeting, Eridanus

Basic questions ?!
I don’t have much knowledge about what I would like to change with the help of the forum! I didn’t just fall on the head when it comes to cars or something like that, but no us-car profi! I’ve often heard some of the terms that I’ve heard before, but I don’t really know exactly what it is! zb. 350cui (motor), then hemi and so things! I think there are many basic concepts that I would like to know about you, or explain! thank you in advance and I’m happy about many answers!!! here my car bought a c5 and wanted to sell it, but the offers for the next 18 birthdays were: 89trans on gta, v8(what else), and only about 17tmls (that’s all right), my father bought it for the last year, and he wanted to sell it, however, he had the offer of a couple for the gta.

Which tools are suitable for reading out various BMW ́s.
Hi @ all, the SUFU was used but I really don’t come with it. It’s about the following. We buddies want to get together a readout device/sofware/interface to read out several BMW Möppis. This is about models like the Racer from the beginning of 2017 over the 1200 RS from 2018 to the 1250 models of the RS and GS from 2020. Now we ask ourselves the question whether it’s with a readout device/software/interface or whether the different models have different prerequisites? What can we read out all these models from the beginning of 2017 and also drive them? Coding would be an additional gimmick but rather it plays a minor role for us. I have for BMW car INPA and Rheingold and also D-Can up to e61. Can we do something with the right cable or have to start from the beginning? Coal is not supposed to play the big role at first, but also not to be completely taken off. It should only work reasonably for us all. Would be grateful for your experiences and your swarm knowledge. We don’t want to buy the wrong or double bin.

First grinding noises, then total failure of my Phaeton 3.2l
Hi friends, last Thursday I noticed for the first time a grinding Gräusch shortly before I stopped my black Eminence after a 20 km long drive. The next morning everything seemed to be ok again but when the engine got warm it was to be heard again. I drove back every day 21 km to work and in the evening the same distance again. When I arrived at work on Friday, I looked under the hood but there was nothing unusual to see. In the stand gas these grinding Gräusch were little to hear but when giving gas they became extremely loudly audible. At home I did not come back, because after the walk then apparently jumped out, the display appeared as if the selector lever was put on P. I could only roll out and no longer drive. The grinding noise, which was also heard in the stand at lever position P or N is now gone. I type on the converter. In June last year the converter, the gearbox, the transmission, the tribe electronics and a new gear oil cooler was installed. Power loss was not noticed before the total failure. Did anyone have idea?

Navicard update at GP0 = internal Fireware update of the Navi?
Moin Moin, ask you a short question. How does the map update work for the GP0? I have a 07 or 06 Naviversion as a CD in the Navicomputer. If I now have a new Navi-CD like Navteq VDO Dayton for BMW, Opel etc pp from 2012 or 2013, I also have to actuate the Firemware of the “you call it ZAB”? I know it from the RNS 510 that a Fireware Update was needed, how is it with the Phaeton GP0?

Introduced reverse gear can no longer be decoupled!
Good afternoon, I changed the Mecedes NG80 1422 L 1983 to the clutch pedal. Since then, the reverse gear has not gone out. Now, every time I want to change gear, the motor has to be switched off.The forward gears go smoothly to switch. Can it be that the encoder cylinder also has to be replaced. Please for tips.

Looking for a Rear Seat Entertainment System for the XC60
Hello, in a few weeks time we will be proud owners of an XC60 DRIVe Summum. Since we have a Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) system (fixed installation) with DVB-T and DVD player for a long time, and we have learned about its advantages on long journeys, we do not want to miss this in the new vehicle. There is probably already an RSE system for the XC60, since you can already download pictures and the Volvo installation instructions (in America can be ordered even as a equipment option), but for the price and availability I have not found anything for Germany yet. But if I look at the Volvo prices of other RSE systems, then you have to reckon with approx. 2000 EUR (without installation) . In the French price list the RSE system for the XC60 for 1595 EUR is included. Has someone already had experience with such RSE systems (fixed installation only) in the XC60? Is there the original Volvo RSE for the XC60 also somewhere (also from other EU-countries)?

Experienced D3 engine
Hello guys, my ordered V70 MY11 (comes in mid-June) has the completely new D3 Diesel engine (120kW/163PS 5cylinder) What I’ve already noticed in the forum is that it’s supposed to be a space-reduced version of the D5. Since I’m new in the Volvo scene I wanted to ask if the D3 now sees the world in the V70 for the first time, or is there the D3 for a long time in other Volvo models? Are there any experiences about the D3 engine (sprite consumption, volume, spray, etc.) or am I one of the first ones who installed this engine in their car, and should post my impressions here.
