I was in the old home in Romania over the Easter holidays. There for a long time I removed the evaporator and cleaned and also the hoses that have to do with the gas. Then had a huge shock where I looked at the hose from Lufi to DK me full of cracks. There the engine diligently pulled false air which at first in consumption and also in a very restless idle sometimes had effect, however, only on LPG, on gasoline was as good as nothing to feel. On LPG the idling is sometimes on 500 revolutions down then after several seconds after shot up to 1200, then again slowly down to 800 sometimes again on 500 etc. Did there then need to be patched there with ISO tape. Empty running was already nailed to 800 rpm. Today the replacement came with the post (new). Consumption on the return journey was packed dramatically decreased. In the built-in condition was not really something to see since the hose is pressed together. So your empty run should also spin and you have a sucker look at the part of the greeting Cristian Cristian’s greeting

FB better to open up like
Hello guys, my latest observation is that the ZV reacts immediately at every pressure on Unlock but at the lock I sometimes have to press 4-5x before the car approaches. What’s this about? Unfortunately I only have one FB to try.

Buying? Volvo V70/1
Hello! I’m looking for a new car… With my “load booklet” (combi, autogas, if possible automatic, up to 2 mille) I’ve landed pretty much at Volvos… Now I’ve seen one:mobile.de Positive is the fresh Tüv, and the mileage is probably not too high for nn 2.5 10V, what I’ve read… That with the 140 hp is rather a comfortable cruiser, is clear to me, and I don’t want to race or pull horse hangers… What do you say at the price? I would look like to land at 170-01800, if I don’t discover anything serious when I’m angucking… Greetings Micha

“Snoring” when turning in strongly left
Hello, would need your competent advice.. At my V70 I (Bj. 99 , 240 Tkm) I have noticed the following for a few days.. When I turn left I hear from the left front wheel a funny mechanical “knarzen”. It really comes to me with strong steering..with light this noise is not to be heard… Do you have an idea what this could be??? Cross handlebars, track rods have been renewed for the TÜV acceptance only 2-3 months ago.. Possible wheel bearings?!

Volvo 850 Ruckeln times different
Hello everyone here! I have a Volvo 850 built in 1996 with B5254S engine. There is the following phenomenon. If I start the first time, then it starts completely normal and I can drive quite normally. But as soon as I put it out and want to continue for a short time, e.g. shopping, then it starts and goes out again immediately. The next start can then only take place with full throttle, whereby it cuts off half one and then turns up the engine with ach and noise. Then it goes quite normally on the usual idle run. If I then want to go off, it goes either with very careful gas or with full throttle. And that is only possible in all aisles and all speeds. So myself I would exclude the complete ignition system incl. candles, because otherwise the problem would certainly be already the first time. I swan now between oil trap, temperature encoder and the LMM. Since the oil trap is a bit fricky, I would be grateful here for every tip that takes me apart!

850/V70 Gasoline: Who has the most km with the 1st engine?
When I read the KM data here, I can’t get out of the astonishment anymore. I always thought that the 260,000 km of my 850 is already a very good result. But I often read something of over 300,000 km here. Is that actually normal with the 850? Even though I tell the acquaintances that my elk still has the 1st exhaust and even the shock absorbers are still the first, I only look in unbelieving faces. Also, I can’t find a rust, although the car is parked under a lantern from day one. I can’t imagine that I can get happy with another car again.

Volvo 850
Tomorrow together! After a long time back and forth… My elk cow is registered again and makes the Teuteburger forest insecure. After almost a year sleep I renewed the battery yesterday, made oil change, new super gasoline in and started… Just nice as the elk spoke. Also runs quite normal, everything super so far, only what has been noticed, around the 2000 tours, say between 1,800 and 2,300 so around, the whole car vibrates. That goes from the steering wheel to the accelerator pedal and the whole rest of the car. Before or behind it runs absolutely calm and clean. And in the stand, whether on “D” or “P” the speed is constant, doesn’t slip, but the car shakes the same way. When you stand behind it sounds like a bubbling V8… It’s nice, but not original. The sitting dog has also driven along all the time. What can it be? Thank you.

T5 or D4 in C70?
Which engine would you take if you didn’t drive more than 15000 euros a year, mostly extreme short-range operation, especially in winter often only 2×1,7km of city traffic, because the cooling water indicator moves just when I park the car. On the other hand rarely, but then quite fast, on the highway. Then I use the 240, which my SLK can run, not out, but constant 180-200 already, if it is possible. I tried the D4, caught me at the frequent full-speed give. Although with diesel and automatic the power would have been enough, the final speed would have been just 210 with even after Tacho without a start just a little too little. I would have a diesel – if this did not cut the lifespan too much, chiptuned. Two Volvo dealers advised me on requests rather to the petroler because of the particle filter. For the diesel speak the lower fuel costs (would be important to me nciht), the durability? and the relaxing engine characteristics. What do you mean?

higher fuel consumption at 225er ?
Hello Volvogemeinde, I’m about to order a new V70. I’m not sure yet which tyre size I should take. Now my question: Normal are 215/55/16. But I’m playing with the idea of ordering the car with 225/45/17. Does this increase the consumption and is the wear in the 45s higher? Has someone already had experiences with it? Please for information. Greeting Clausen

Does my VW Golf 2 diesel engine 1.6 D with 54 hp have too much overpressure in the crankcase / oil tank?
Hello together, I got a built-up VW Golf 2 diesel engine with 54 hp. According to the seller the engine ran until the removal. Before it was reinstalled, a friend prepared this engine. 2 new valves from my old engine were replaced with head seal damage in the used because these defects were according to my acquaintances. The valves were regrinded. Furthermore, he renewed the timing belt. The pistons all had no room for manoeuvre and all sat nicely tight. There were no bars in the running surface so that my acquaintance did not see any reason to replace them. For this reason they were not replaced. The cylinder head seal has also been immediately renewed in this train. The engine was installed and also jumped directly on. The engine runs without flashing noises or knocking, flaps etc. as he says impeccable. We have now determined that as soon as the engine comes to temperature, and at high speed is brought already over 2000 tours, oil at the measuring rod exit. In cold condition this can not happen even at high speed.
