Hello together maybe one of you can help me. I have a Yamaha YZF 1000 R built in 1997 and am doing a big maintenance (change valve shaft seals, grind in valves etc.) I have a problem now which I can’t explain to myself. I don’t get the first part of the cylinder head off. Screws are all solved/removed and also seems to want to get out but it hacks or it jams somewhere. I don’t want to pull out now with violence. There’s nothing in the workshop manual that helps me. I once added a picture from the internet so you know which part of the cylinder head I mean (marked red).

Yamaha DT 80 LC1 25+ years of service life
Hello to each other, I’m the new one and I’m looking for a used vehicle (Enduro) around (max 125cc, 15ps, you know) And I want to get involved directly with a question. :> What do you think of a service life 25+ years dry in barn? Would such a DT 80 LC1 still be saved by hand? I have to say, of course, that I have no experience in “screwing”, but it is often mentioned that these old bikes are easy to repair by myself. Can you say from the beginning that such a thing would be utopian for this motorcycle in terms of cost? Thank you very much already and nice Wednesday

XJ 750 jerks and sets out to…
If it only runs on three cylinders, then it suddenly pulls off at full throttle to expose itself immediately to it. All float chambers fill up, I tried that, the carburettors are supposedly ultra sound cleaned, at least externally pieksauber, however, this has made a Yamaha – dealer, not myself. Before I take them apart now and shell them myself, maybe someone has an idea, the same experience, it is what banal ? spark plugs are new, filters are also. And: W as have the six (!) black hoses for a purpose that disappear from the gasses in the Nirvana in front of the battery box (and are nowhere connected)

Cdi does not give mass to petrol pump relays – Yamaha Virago 535
Hello, well you can help me, had my yamaha virago 535 bj93 rebuilt, and now she no longer jumps on or, I need the bensinpumping relay with mass over bridges to start it, and even then she only runs on cylinder 1, I assume that the cdi does not pass any mass to the relay because the cable goes directly to the cdi. Had anyone ever had such problems and had advice for me still spin through, relai I worked tested, gasoline pump works even after exercise rbrücken, I assume that the cdi is broken or just that it does not release the mass because what andres is broken like e.g. kill switch or magnet switch in the petrol tank????? Just how to check???

Brakes and spacers??!!
Hello together…. First of all I have to imagine…. I have been owner of a 00 TTQ ́s for about 3 months, 180hp front. The car so far only had to do small things about itself….. slight lowering, 18″ RH Vesuvius rims, distance discs back 50mm, front 40mm…. Now to my problem: In another topic a few days ago the problem with the squealing brakes was dealt with already. Maybe it is possible that the noises due to the not very small extension ng the track is caused? Had the noises with the aluminium ́s a little lower, now with winter tires already a little stronger….. However, mainly only to hit right! Maybe someone has already made experience with the distance discs and possible problems with wheel bearings etc….. Still more general: a silver E36 before the TT and as a hobby car still have my Hammer-Cinquecento! Come from the area Ruhrgebiet-Sauerland (quite at the border!) and I am in Lüdenscheid – as you call them – “bull”, which hopefully does not exclude me here as a car freak! 🙂 Although not everything knows, but if there are questions about this, I can perhaps also help you out of my marterie! Here is a picture of my TT, though in a somewhat bad quality!

Jordan: Alonso management “naive or arrogant”
The former team leader is surprised that Alonso has not negotiated a number one contract and believes that Hamilton has taken him out of the concept (Motorsport-Total.com) – The two McLaren Mercedes drivers seamlessly linked to their previous form on Friday in Magny-Cours. While Lewis Hamilton was driving competitively competitive times, Fernando Alonso sailed into the gravel bed at high speed, which shocked team leader Ron Dennis at the command level. The Jordan believes that Lewis Hamilton has broken Fernando Alonso from the concept through his sensational start to his first Formula 1 season: “Hamilton’s performances may have been haunted by Alonso,” said the Irishman to the Daily Record. At the same time, Eddie Jordan warns Lewis Hamilton not to write down Fernando Alonso, after all, Alonso is driven by pressure to achieve top performances, as in the past year, after he left the race management in Monza after the Qualif ying was punished: “That drove him and made him even stronger in the championship. We’ll soon see if Alonso is absolutely hot or if he could get into trouble.” Reports that team leader Ron Dennis Lewis Hamilton supports more than twice the reigning world champion, Jordan appear credible: “He’s the man who discovered him and he was the one who believed in him. It’s the first time that Ron brought a newcomer into his team. A Brit.” Alonso’s management accuses him of negotiating a bad contract “either out of naivety or arrogance”: “Had Michael Schumacher ever allowed to sign a contract that would give his teammate equal treatment?Of course, no, because he never did.” Jordan believes that Hamilton has been considered “as a child” and expects Alonso to enjoy “all the attention” as a champion.Source… So, what do you think of Jordan`s Me inung: a.) Smilinho only wants to provoke b.) Jordan has no idea (Stewart doesn’t have one either) c.) Schumacher’s management was smarter than Alonsos d.) Hamilton gets more support A lot of fun at the race. Gruss Smilinho

Alonso criticizes McLaren
Hi, I read this article at SpiegelOnline today and don’t want to keep it from you:Alonso feels disadvantaged Is it really because he is Spanish? Does he want to “distract” from his mistakes in Montreal? Does he feel the pressure of Hamilton so strong? Greetings global walker
