Hello experts, please someone can help me with the following question on the jumps . Purely factually would be helpful, without evaluation (e.g. stupid mirror article etc. it is not about the article In the following article is a diagram (source Umweltbundesamt, Kraftfahrtbundesamt) It can be seen there that Euro 6 has a NOx limit of 80mg/KM.http://www.spiegel.de/…/…-neue-diesel-sinnvoll-sinn-a-1196019.html On the VW website are currently still available e.g. VW Tiguan as well as letztedl I sold all VWs (except the UP) with Euro 6w and have e.g. at the Tiguan in the details the following info: …. Emission classEURO 6 W further emission values Nitrogen oxides (NOx) Fuel I: 47.3 mg/km Particle emission Fuel I: 0.0400 mg/km Non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHC) I: – …. Is the nitrogen values NOx on the safe side? What remains unclear, however, whether one will get problems with a car of the Euro 6w standard instead of the newer standard 6d in the inner cities . Where is Euro 6w to be classified, this is about Euro 6b (see page 7 in the PDF below). And according to Kraftfahrtbundesamt, these cars can only be registered until 31.08.2018. So if you order a car now and only allow it in Sept. 2018, this would not be possible. See info from Kraftfahrtbundesamt:http://www.kba.de/…/sv1_007_announcement_pdf.pdf?… Greeting D. K.

Combi with ‘bite bums
Hello dear people, at the moment drive an E36 316i BJ ’95. I became a dad 5 weeks ago and well, the trunk is very small, the back seat is not foldable, since it is already narrow back when the stroller comes into the trunk. Since my good Bimmer has to the TÜV, we have thought that it is now time for what new. Another child is planned in 2-3 years, so we have decided for a combo. Since the 316i is rather so category walking dune and every overtaking process on the BAB for thrills, the new one should be a bit more motorized. Vmax is whirling, does not drive faster than 200, but should speed it up a bit faster than my current one. Here are the following parameters:Brand: no matterBJ: no matterConsumption:No matter, with the current in the city certainly have 12L, worse can hardly become gasoline (do not drive sooo much in the week and then rather city, 2x in the year to the Baltic Sea (200km) and once to the south (500km), plus smaller excursions on weekends (~10-50km))circuit: no matterFeatures: My better half is afraid of the length of a combo, so PDC would be nice at the back. Otherwise quite undemanding. Vllt. still Xenon, since our current light bulbs are very weak at seaBudget: ~8000€, If there is a clear difference in quality for 2-3k more, even up to 10-11k.Running performance: doesn’t matter, as long as it has been stocked and “good” stands there. S? Mazda 5? I’m poorly informed about cars and, above all, combos. So I’d be happy if a few model suggestions came from you 🙂 I wish you a nice weekend!

Car for little drivers (motorway, country roads) under 10k €
Hello to the forum community! I am looking for a used car (in Eastern Austria) which is to cost less than 10 000€ and is only used on weekends for excursions and large purchases. Once a month it goes 300 km to the family and 1-2 times a year also a holiday with 2000-3000km should be possible. Route profile therefore 80% highway, 10% country road, 10% city. Overall probably less than 10k km/year. Currently I bought a Kia Cee’d SW (used half a year ago) and my problem with this is the 5-speed transmission and the lack of cruise control. The engine is quite loud at 130 kmh on the highway and swallows 8.5 liters of petrol – so not particularly comfortable and economical with longer trips. The purchase was necessary at the time, but had a good deal and do not expect with too much money loss when selling again. Now I would rather have something more comfortable to drive (Tempomat, 6 gears or CVT?) and ideally less fuel at highway speed I have absolutely no brand preferences, but a preference for combinations or SUVs. It is important that 4 adults in the car definitely have good space. That is also the reason why the previous favorite (Honda Insight) has left – apparently only space for <175cm people on the back bench. So again hard facts: < 10 000 km/year, especially highway and long distance < 10 000 € < 125 HP space for 4 adults

IS300h Question on technical data/repurchase consideration
Hi guys, I’m a driver of German middle class vehicles so far. Currently I’m driving a BMW F36 but maybe my next one will be a Lexus. I was thinking about an IS300h (the new one), but I find something strange. Currently it’s a 2.0L diesel with 190hp/400NM and I have two types of driving, cozy so Landstraße + 130-150 DAB, then I am so at 4.7-5.0 liters and second fun (everything goes) then it is so at 7.5-7.8 liters. Weight comparable, approx. 1.7 To The consumption can be compared badly but if you take into account the more expensive taxes then there won’t be much. (driving < 15000 / year). I think that fits, do you see it exactly like that? But what totally confuses me with the Lexus is the specification of the performance values. The BMW needs 7.3 sec 0-100 and the top is 231 km/h (both verified several times). The Lexus has 33 hp more but 8.3s on 100 and top 200 km/h. (with comparable weight). Now to my question, it is true. What is it that the car is so much slower with much more power? Or is that only indicated for the pure petrol drive and the electric motor comes in if charged? (It is important to me that if I want the power then everything is already available....). Important: This is not a rating, I just have no idea of the hybrids Many greetings Markus

I have a dream (300 hp)
Hello people, the Lexus is supposed to be very reliable. Only Lexus is not so particularly seen on the road, of the frequency. A car costs maybe 250 million euros in development. There must be divided the number of vehicles. Whether there are 1000 vehicles or 400’000. The car with 1000 quantity must be expensive. I wonder all the time if I can afford a car with small quantity? How can I get a feeling for the cost. I would like the IS 350 with about 300 hp or r the ISF with 430 hp. Or the Infinity M37 with 320 hp, 6 cylinder. The IS is very interesting because it looks better like the Infinity and because there is the IS in a good PS staggering. As a reason car, after the fun car, I would buy myself a Mazda 3 or 6 with Skyaktiv engine, a Nissan Note with 3 cylinder, a Ford Mondeo, a Ford Fussion, a Volvo S60 :-)), a Avensis etc I had a similar topic with the Exotes and there was the fear of the few workshops genomme me n.

All Lexus drivers!
Since I drove a GS 300, the vehicles from Lexus fascinate me. At the moment especially the RX. Now I have a question: What about the spare parts supply? With my parts dealer and the relevant addresses on the Internet there are very few or no parts for Lexus. In order to make a GS 300 small inspection and renew wear parts I would have to order from 3 dealers and then not have everything. So I have to return to original parts. Are there any Toyota dealers or do I have to do it and possibly for a large inspection for Lexus representation? (don’t know where there is one here in the Rhine Main area, Darmstadt is still being built..) How do you do that? Are you going to the contract workshop/office or also to the free workshop/house management? If so, where do you order parts? Am something spoiled at the moment by my Mercedes, for which there is every part at every corner and at any time of the day and night? In the Lexus I pay twice as much. What’s this about? (wrong source?, lower quantity?) The question arises to me because I like to screw myself and that for me belongs to the vehicle somehow… Besides, I’m extremely stingy. That’s why only a used person is in question for me! No, but the entertainment is of course also a cost factor… So that we don’t get the wrong idea: I don’t want a comparison between Both are good cars, here I’m only talking about the supply and price level of the spare parts, as well as your behavior in relation to the Free Workshop/contract workshop. Thank you for your answers!

Advice GS450H
Good morning. I was offered a GS450H from 2008 on the weekend. Since I am not familiar with these models because I have always ridden VAG so far, I would now like to ask questions on what I have to pay special attention to. The vehicle ran 208 tkm and the batteries were changed 2 years ago. TÜV just got it fresh. Gear oil was changed 8000 km ago. Would be happy if I could give you a little advice. Greeting Jens

Exhaust pipe
Hello, dear motor-talkers! I think I found my own personal junk of the month, an “out-of-puff whistle”, which is supposed to imitate a turbo sound. 1. Does that work? And how “real” does that sound? 2. Can’t one do an extreme damage with such an exhaust system, because the exhaust emissions are hindered by such a splash in the tailpipe? 3. How can one!?

Lexus GS450h (F). Experiences of owners / buying?
I’m thinking of buying a Lexus GS450h, or a GS in general. The 450h didn’t really prevail in Europe, there are hardly any. Are there owners who can share their experiences? I’ve already had Lexus and always when I’m in Dubai I’m mainly sitting in Lexus ES300h, because that’s the Uber Comfort model there and it’s just a pleasant car, in almost every respect. Quiet, good seats, good city consumption, everything that makes a Lexus so special. Ic h had an IS300h myself, but I never drove the drive of the 450h myself. How can the difference be described? I would expect a very quiet car at the GS450h, can I confirm this from practice?

Interrupt ignition with switch (theft protection)
Hello, who can tell me where I have to switch between to start the engine? But please that I first have to press the key and then a button, nothing at the same time. To the car: a ’92 Westfield SE from GB! without big electrics! MfG Nookie
