Hello together N mate of me who is actually well acquainted with cars, this week my 406 Coupé 3.0 V6 drove with 190 Ps BJ 99 and 176 tkm sample. He meant that of the alleged 190 Ps is not much to feel and he has only 150 – 160 Ps after his feeling. That smells huge to me and therefore my question….. How can I activate the possibly lost horses again? Maybe by new spark plugs/cable or new distributor??? What lies on such a loss of performance due to age and what can be done there. Ps: My more well-known gulf GTI was driving before and he thought he would be much better off ….

407 SW Smoke from engine compartment
Hello, I have been owner of a 407 SW HDI 135 Biturbo since summer last year. Now it happened for the 3rd time (distance very irregular) that I saw smoke coming out of the engine room while stopping at a traffic light. Temperatures have all remained normal. At the next stop these had disappeared again. What could that be? Can someone help me. Will drive to the workshop again next week. Problem is only when I go there is certainly nothing. Noise after timing belt change
Hello,I drive a 406 Break 2,2 ltr,Machine,Bj,2000.I have now at 120000,km the timing belt water pump and everything that is about to change.My now at 2000 u/m makes a roaring vibrating noise,the workshop has blown everything for the 2 times,because it is there the set is not okay.The noise is still there,the workshop has asked at Peugeot directly,which are of the opinion that the adjustable camshaft(gear adjustable?) of the Urherber could be,but s they are not, the master thinks it is the tensioning role below where the belt runs over, which he has just played there.Perhaps one of you has an answer,or similar problems ? Can it lie on the camshaft ?? Thanks in advance. Martina

Servus, unfortunately I am a computer freak and I have almost no idea about my car. I have a 92 polo Fox 1.0l with 33KW, 5-speed and the following problems/questions: 1. My engine stutters, roars and vibrates after the laser and does not accept gas. I then always have to drive at high speeds so that the moter does not run out in slow curves. What is this ?? I brushed off the spark plug contacts and the other end is also ok. Air filter I get a new one soon. this problem only if it was wet now every day in the morning and sometimes even on dry afternoons. 2. My FoxPolo has no rev indicator, can you just install the one from another polo or does it have no speed sensor ? 3. How do you actually make an oil change with this car? I can wait PCs, repair,.. but cars are new ground 4. almost forgotten ? I had to lower my air filter to clean the spark plug. Can I take it all off and get up again The bottom cable/hose I put on, because I don’t know if you can get it on again without tools/seat material? Hello Have a VW FOX since today noon. 1.2 liter capacity, 55 hp, color is tornado red. The first way led to the gas station……;-) I was curious when I have to refuel ??? It should be quite economical! Look at me 🙂 The Fox is my bad weather car b.z.w. Winter car. Have another Mazda MX-5 as a summer vehicle 🙂 That’s why I had winter tires put on the steel rims! Then will buy me some aluminum wheels in the spring. Are there any pictures of the Fox m it different alloy rims??? I’m still new here and don’t know me so much. In advance thank you. In fact, this is not so much a question thread as a trouble thread, but I wanted to write it to myself again. So yesterday I was stopped in the city at 28km/h above the permitted speed. I am still in the probation period and can now – despite the deduction of 3km/h tolerance – be a build-up seminar and all the fun. This is not happening because I am a racer of the first rank, but because I just totally peed. I could m I ́m so angry!!! *ggrr* Normally I ́m driving up to the next section (i.e. at 50km/h 60 allowed, at 70 then 80, etc. and at most 20 more to Tacho if I really EXTREM is in a hurry, but that ́s as good as never happens) In any case I ́m driving through the city with the food on wheels of my civilian service station on Tuesday and there is a place where two pedestrian crossings are. I know that there ́s a 30km/h sign and before the second one I was completely in my mind and didn’t really pay attention to how fast I was. I reflected on the first zebra strip at 45km/h. Tacho slowed down and then – when I saw that no one came to the second one – I gave some gas again. Joa and 100m further on suddenly a policeman stood in front of me on the road. I thought first of all he had? What would he want? Had almost passed by. And d I was very shocked when I parked my car. There they were standing in the side street with their bulli and were collecting in rows. People were really in line! In retrospect, a colleague told me that they would probably have been lying on the opposite side of the road with a laser gun in the hedge. Such a mess. Like the snipers!!! Furthermore, I have today by Navi and GPS-Geschw This was the result that I had to drive almost 70. I would have driven this speed at the place NEVER – not even if there had been 50!!! Also from the feeling it was far too fast! Especially since the Fiesta probably needs 500m to accelerate from 45 to 70^^ Besides, I wonder where they have flashed exactly. Because between the end of the first zebra strip and the shield of the second theoretically must actually apply 50km/h e, right? I mean, they can only have flashed on the second strip. Or stop in between – but that wouldn’t be right. Well, and because of such a peat farm, I’m allowed to pay 500€ now. I earn 500€ a month, which I get from the state and can pay it back 1:1 to the state. If I didn’t live at home and my parents wanted to. I could add something else, then I could pay the NIE AND NIMMER. How does that actually work out? Rate payment? One of the people who went to the supermarket once a week probably had a much lower risk of being flashed in 2 years than someone who had to drive almost 40000km in 9 months from his civilian service. The sharpest was then the one policeman. One was really discreet and so and had some pity as it looked and the other looked like this: “Yes and with young drivers the number of accidents is greatest… blablablabla. – yes, great. I know that too! Well, in the end it’s repairable, I didn’t drive around, but it’s annoying. Especially if I had really driven in the city 80 – then it would have been worth it at least. But so!!! *stinky am* So please excuse me, that I had to write this about my soul now. But somehow it didn’t happen otherwise. Do you think that you can turn something on it in some form? I didn’t have any FS or Perso with me. (I always leave you at the headquarters, otherwise you have to carry everything with you, because you can’t leave it in the car!) Otherwise I’m really looking forward to the seminar: sitting around between alcoholic racers. I mean in the end I was too fast, but somehow it was really bad luck. Actually, I wanted to go on vacation with my girlfriend in the fall. That’s probably flat now. Don’t pay attention for a second!

Mercedes SL500 (R230) AMG exhaust system and MSD
Hello friends, I am well aware that there has been extensive discussion here in the forum, but I did not come to a clear conclusion for me, as there are different entries available. Would like to install the AMG exhaust system in Annex 1 at an SL500 (R230) year 2002. 1) This is the human 55 AMG exhaust rod or am I wrong? 2) Does someone happen to have a sound file, since I could not find anything suitable in the well-known forums. 3) Does the Fa exist? the possibility to replace the MSD with 2 V2A raw, in order to give the sound a little more spice? If yes, where are the MSD exactly, is this directly the two parts after the rear silencer or the part further forward?? 4) Does anyone have experience with FOX rear silencers??? The 65 AMG system now seems to be a rarity, the parts are not related anywhere. Thanks and greetings.

CTEK MSX 5.0 – Reconditioning program / Desulphation for connected batteries
Hello! I got a ctek msx 5.0 and would like to refresh my batteries with the reconditioning program / desulphation again and keep them in fire by regular use. In the operating instructions for the SL, of course, in order to suffocate any claims from possible damage already in the bud that the batteries are to be removed during charging. I would like to do without the removal of the batteries, as this would always be associated with effort (expansion of the battery) and learning ECUs) and because it has been reported several times that after disconnecting and again clamping the batteries various error messages have occurred, which have made a visit to a service station, sometimes even with repair effort, necessary. After the reconditioning program / desulphation passes the pulsating voltage through the ctek up to 15,8V, I have the fear that control units might be offended. Unfortunately, I did not find any clear statement about the reconditioning program for connected batteries in the R230. Therefore, my specific question here: Did any of you R230 owners regularly use the ctek in the reconditioning program / desulphation for batteries connected to the on-board network and can give warning, or just report on negative effects? Was the ctek directly connected to the battery poles, both the starter battery and the consumer battery, Lossen? My vehicle is an R230, SL350 from 2003. Thank you for the answers! MfG pial345
