  • Garage find: Car-Love by Franz Billich – known? Scrap?

Hi girls, when breaking down a garage, I came across a box with a seal (?). There’s actually no product name on the front, what about “Car-Love” and “Franz Billich Autopflege” (see pictures). Does anyone know the stuff? Probably garbage? Do I still clean the trash can or throw it away? Or should I use the stuff? For what? My car varnishes are too bad for me…

  • Bloody Beginner: Accessories to Clean Vehicle Care…

Hello together, inspired by the many experiences in the vehicle care forum, I have recently also decided not to drive my car through the car wash, but also to care for my car by hand and with a lot of love. I have enough equipment – thanks to FAQ, various forum and blog posts – now, have already started with the hand wash, but now comes my “problem”…. I used the nice weather on weekends and my car really thoroughly cleaned, incl. change on summer tyres and everything drum and drum. Now I polished the car today and waxed, which was nothing new in itself – only for the first time I took order sponges, polishing sponges and microfaster cloths instead of old rags and polishing floss. After I was finished, the question arose: What now – how do I clean the sponges? I have the sponges (order pad, order sponge, polishing sponges) just Wash out with warm water. Is that enough or should the product residue in the sponges/pads be eliminated with something else? I actually planned to use the order pads only for the polish and the order sponge only for the wax. Thank you for the tips for an inquisitive beginner!

  • Nissan Juke ( Experiences 1.5 Diesel/1.6 Petrol) Durability, consumption, highway??

Hello together, I play with the idea to buy a Nissan Juke. In the car dealership are of course all of the praises and “no problems” reported. Sure, want to sell their cars too. Now I want to ask you the following things… … I drive a lot of highway ( 90% ) is the diesel really the right choice ( if you see the purchase price, parts : DPF, Turbo ) in relation to the cheaper 1.6 er( 117 HP )? What does the 1.6er realistically consume at 120/1 40 km/h on the track ? ( at the 1.5 it should get so at 5,5 – 6,0, or ?) About the durability of the juke can not be reported yet, but surely about the engines and possible components that make up the difference petrol/diesel ? From the feeling I would tend in terms of durability/sensitivity rather to the petroler, but if this needs 8,X liters, this has done well. I would be happy about opinions…

  • Tuning Corolla

Hello!! I will be on Saturday 18 and have my car already standing at the door (Corolla E 10, dark blue). Unfortunately I have almost no idea about cars and tuning anyway not.. I just tried to make up my car a little bit… Unfortunately I am in training and don’t earn too much, so it should be a bit cheaper… Does someone know here good Internet sites or shops in the Ruhr area (would also drive a little further away) which tuning costs themselves even more m Frame hold??? And another question, I have the Corolla in the Royal version, with the seat color I am not quite satisfied, for that there are also seat covers, but on the sides is also this ugly pattern, how can I get rid of it??? Is there a fabric cover for it or I don’t know… How expensive is the lowering, it also depends on the car??? Mfg Andrea

  • Entry time / fuel consumption

Hello, I am now also 1.4 D-4-D owner in the new Corolla. WIe you have your drive in and how long? What do you think of the 2000km oil change history my dealer called me. So after the first 2000km an oil change is to be made. My BC shows me 6,2l with the first tank filling. But I also drove only 500km by car. It is still brand new. Does the consumption still fall after some time? To come under 6l would be great. Even if the BC does not have the correct I assume that data is delivered. Let’s see what comes out of the next tanking.

  • Climate always on?

When buying from my Corolla, the dealer told me that it is not bad when the climate is always on. For them it is even better when it is running constantly. Is that true? In the summer it makes cool, in the winter it pulls the moisture out of the car. The coolant is always in motion. Sounds logical. Yes, I know that this means more fuel consumption. That’s clear.

  • Price’s okay, huh?

Hi there, I wanted to ask you what you think of this offer. So it seems kind of funny to me, because usually these models are sold for a lot more. Quote: Escort, 1.8 16 V, Zetec, 105 PS, Mod. 96, Euro2, 1. Hd., original 132 tkm, TÜV/AU 3/04, uffr., violet-met., 2x Airbag, RC, RDS, GSD, ZV, Servo, ABS, WFS, 8-f. ber., SH, 1.650,- I called the guy and he meant with new Tüv/Au I could have him for 1,500€ You think the offer is realistic, ode r do you think there is something lazy? Would be really grateful for a quick answer, as I would have to look at the car afterwards. Thank you in advance Greetings Marius

  • Driving without cooling water…

Hallows together. Since the beginning of July 04 I can also count myself among the Saab owners. I bought an Aero (04.2002) with about 4400km as a demonstration car. Current mileage 12800. Sunday evening, message from the info display; refilling cooling water. My thought was; hm already now?!? I wanted to make sure how much water is needed when driving home and parking. Now comes the hammer; yawning teaching in the system!!!! The TCS (ADAC) meant it was around the water pump which The garage meant the same thing and changed it, with the explanation, defective due to damage to the condition. Now my question to you: – Can this really be?? – Is this a well-known Saab problem (water pump) ? The repair amount is about 500 SFr. (330EUR) The workshop is now trying to take part of the amount at Saab on kulanz, which I hope very much. I assume that this is a slip of my Saabinchen. Gruss, Oli

  • Axle Broken 8Months after TÜV

We bought the vehicle 8 months ago with a fresh TÜV, today we had a breakdown and now we ask ourselves the question whether it is realistic that the car has such a rust damage 8 months after testing so that the wheel tears off me? Could the TÜV examiner have slept there or consciously overlooked something? He could have mentioned something at least in the report.

  • Buy Daewoo?

https://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?… Can I buy it? I read that the headrests are only sufficient for people up to 1.70 m and I am 1.86. You should be able to sit up to 1.85 m in front. My brother is 2.10 m and fit in the old Twingo. No servo steering.. at the back no headrests.. Luggage compartment lid on head impact height.. high value loss.. otherwise ok? need a cheap car.
