  • Car cracked – Find an alarm system

They cracked my car tonight and took my 5 day old radio, see appendix, + CD changer, which was not yet developed, and drank 2 beers out of the beer box in the car. So funny all this sounds I’m pissed off. Was already with the police and reported it to the insurance company. Tonight in the village 5 more cars were broken up. Well, everything, as you can imagine, were tuned cars that were disassembled. Now I wanted to after a good run. n Request alarm system because I haven’t dealt with the subject so far. Does jmd. have one? Does jmd know a good tip? I am grateful for everything.

  • Experience with PitStop/ false winter tyres = no insurance cover

Hello V-community, I would like to share my experience with PitStop and would be pleased with advice and tips: Recent TÜV check showed that the winter tyres raised about 2 years ago are not approved for my Volvo. According to papers – and thus manufacturer specifications – 185/70 R14 are the smallest approved size. What I was sold was, however, as now turned out after three winter seasons, only the size 175/70. So according to Tüv I am three winters without approval. And with it even without insurance cover – fortunately WITHOUT accident. Result: I get new winter tyres raised by Volvo and thus get fresh TÜV and actually also insurance cover again. To this end, PitStop only approves of a residual value refund according to residual profile depth. How high this cash payment will be, is still calculated. What do you say about it? My sense of justice would rather be based on a 100% refund and calmly I’ve never had a crash on all sides. Greetings Martin

  • Legacy IV gasoline jerks when starting cold

Hi guys, the following problem bothers me, or my car: When I start the engine and start the car, the car is jerking like stupid. I.e. whether the clutch is still grinding or already closed, the speed is under 2k, then the speed varies very strongly and accordingly the whole vehicle is jerking. If the car is warm, the whole thing is gone or at least much better. It is the 150hp petrol with 6speed transmissions. Runs for 10tkm on gas, but when starting of course one way or another on petrol. Ke rzen are new. I would be very grateful for tips and opinions.

  • What rims?

I have a question for all those who know it out there from an ignorant person! I would now like to put these rims on in the coming summer time: http://www.tsw-sportraeder.de/pages/wheels/zenon.html but in what size? From what size do I have to do bodywork, with which tyres and which tire height?? VA and HA different width or the same? Do you have experience with other rim sizes? Have the standard 14 ́ ́ on top of it in mom, but go there 17 ́ ́ ́? with TÜV mei I hope you can help me quickly! MfG Simon PS: Is there a Honda Tuner scene in Munich, and how can I record with the Kontkat?

  • German cities before the driving ban?

In the latest issue of the SPIEGEL this article jumped into my eyes today:http://www.spiegel.de/spiegel/0,1518,330927,00.html Since I know the situation in Berlin, Frankfurt/Oder and Cottbus quite well, I think that here only billions of investments of the state in bypass roads & the public transport system bring something. Moreover, the car industry and the car buyers should soon be able to pay a lot of money for new engines. Whether they want to or not. In the short term, at least in Berlin the C Public transport companies, such as the BVG, will look forward to more sales. Cottbusers have also sharpened the pen. They want to ban the federal roads from the city and demand the 200 million euros promised by the federal government for 10 years and postponed to a bypass road after 2015. Otherwise, they want to temporarily cut off the traffic towards Poland from next year. It will still be funny. Because the federal government should not invest the necessary investment for a short time or a long time. And so it came as it had to come: On Saturday the first, unscheduled 6 million check from Stolpe for the road planning in the town hall ended up. How do you see the thing? Greeting from the air-jabbing cucumber from the traffic-laden Cottbus *hust*

  • Change of timing belt

Hi Folks, after we had our V40 Diesel Bj. 99 in September in inspection (75000 km, timing belt change), this did not start as joyfully as before. When we drove in the workshop, there was a defective glow that was changed. Nevertheless, the aggregate did not jump properly. In the meantime we were ATTENTION! once in the workshop, whose master after changing the diesel filter housing, the exhaust back valve etc. does not know any more. It means: 40 sec. org, set off, again glow, then it jumps on and fogs the entire road. If it has jumped in the morning, it is no problem to start all day. WHO CAN ME CONTINUE!?!?!? Greetings, Siegie.
