Servus on the other hand, I often change the vehicles and have accordingly short registrations and sit for more than two years on the same %te although in the meantime I had always registered a car on me! I asked once with the representative of the insurance and he said that one must have registered at least a half year to be able to be downgraded at the next “interval”. But I quite understand it. How would it look if I; say If we had a car in the period from 01.01- 30.06 of one year only briefly, i.e. 1week, because of me from 01.01.2006-08.01.2006 and then again in the period from 01.07.2006-31.12.2006 only from 01.07.2006-08.07.2006 only a vehicle on me, would I then be entitled to be downgraded or not? How does this work with the downgrading, there are some tricks to be downgraded regularly without having a vehicle, maybe in which one leaves a motorcycle or r pays a small lump sum to the insurance? thnx

Total damage, then total damage statement
As a newcomer in this forum I would have a few questions. My girlfriend had with her restored Porsche 911 S year 1979 a self-inflicted accident damage, which the comprehensive insurance took over. After a full braking, where also all 4 new tires had brake plates, she hurled and got into the guardrails. Damage around the vehicle. The expert of the insurance estimated the vehicle value at € 27,000 and the repair costs incl. de r 4 new tyres amount to € 27.316.33 incl. VAT. The damage calculation and the replacement value are not to be objected to by the expert who made my girlfriend before the accident (€24.000). Now the insurance wants to calculate for total damage because the damage is above the time value of the Porsche and sets a residual value of € 8,000. Can my friend not have the vehicle repaired? For good tip I would be grateful.

Car financing my sister
Hi people, good advice is expensive, that’s why I told her. Here are competent people at motortalk who can certainly help you or give you tips. My sister wants to buy a CLK convertible. She has chosen the following modelCLK 200 compressor convertible Price 16990 € She wants to drive the car for 2 years only. The final rate should reflect the residual value of the car so that you get out of the matter + – 0. Question What do you think of the car? I told her to many kilometers ! Vehicle is 3 hand ! No command system !!! And only a 1 year used car warranty which is perhaps not even worth your name. I find the car in itself too expensive ! I say it because you want to sell the car after 2 years and then everything is to be considered when buying, I hope you understand what I mean. 2. Question: The following financing offer cash payment price: € 16.990,- Deposit: € 5.097,- Net loan amount: € 11.893,- Duration: 36 months. Monthly rate: € 178.57 Final rate: € 7.305.70 Effect. Annual rate: 6.49% Fixed interest rate p.a.: 6.30% Gross loan amount: € 11.893,- Processing fees: € 0,- Bank: Mercedes-Benz Bank AG, Siemensstraße 7, 70469 Stuttgart If you sell the vehicle again after 3 years, or even after 2 years? Do you still get the final rate? What keeps her from the interest rates. Goal: Your goal is to drive the vehicle for 2 years maximum 3 years and get out of the face with 0 A down payment away, interest off! I find the loss of value will be gigantic. Greetings

Used car financing via Santander
Servus together, has someone already had experience with the Santander (car credit)? Have just got an offer about a used car financing available (20.000€ at 4.5% eff.). I find actually quite good. Only drawback: The vehicle letter must be sent within 4 weeks. How does it work with the financing? I have picked out some vehicles, but I can only agree to the dealers if I have the money of Santander in my account. In addition, there is not yet enough says if the car is still available after payment of the loan or if I agree with the dealer at all. By the 4 weeks deadline one would then be forced to find something in time. Has someone already financed about Santander and can say something about it? Can one also postpone the 4 weeks deadline or delay the payment? In any case I want to have the money in my account before I go to the dealer. More problem: The vehicle will be for insurance reasons The Santander has also sent a wipe with the loan offer, which can be filled out if the vehicle is to be registered with someone else. There is also the FIN of the vehicle registered. Can one still submit the slip after the credit authorization / payment? Because before that I do not have any specific FIN.

Engine damage – who has to pay?
Hello together, I bought a used S-Class on 21.01.2013 from a dealer as a business driver (he did not want to sell to private). The vehicle is from the year 2000 and had 199500. Now after almost 2 weeks (on 02.02.13) and about 800 km came a very probable engine damage (the car is now at MB Werkstatt). What rights do I have now to the seller. Must he pay for the repair or take the car back against full repayment or must I bathe all this myself??? For your help I am very grateful to you!!!

Which car for transition when waiting for new cars?
Hello, here’s a perhaps unusual question. My car is from 2006 and has 180,000 km down (Octavia RS). He is well maintained checkbook, but nevertheless it can happen that he suddenly breaks irreperibly. From today to morning. I would then buy another new car (probably again Octavia RS). But then the question arises: What should I drive until the new car is delivered? I drive about 2,300 km a month. I tend to take a car in such a case. A small car that is relatively stable in value and which I can then repel after a few months with as little loss as possible. Perhaps a used Skoda Fabia for 4,000,- €?!? And sell it again for a little over 3,000,- € after a few months?!? However, the waiting times at Skoda are weeks rather than months. Had had to wait at that time about 2 months. What idea do you have or what would you do in my place? Greeting, Karl Heinz

Sixt Leasing, a few questions
Hello, I have a few questions about Sixt Private Leasing. has someone already had such experiences: 1. Have I read here and there that there has to be a special payment, is that so or what condition do you need to complete this without a special payment like you can also configure the whole thing? 2. Delivery times: So right you get it out only after a complete application, so that there is also no back? Can I rely on a telephone statement roughly in advance? would think that they give extra a shorter time to buy 3. Return, Fairbag: Since you have 250 euros net on individual damages, is that worth it? Are they still very pingy? Do you have advantages if you continue with Sixt Leasing and new car afterwards? 4. Where can I find information if you have to return your car after half the runtime? Ginge that? 5. what happens if you had an accident or something is replaced properly, no matter if you now have your own eight about insurance or debt over his insurance, so that it is at the end an accident car? how does the leasing technique make itself felt? 6. insurance can still be freed up I think, right? 7. Is there still any catch?

Maximum speed without wind shield…
Hello, I’m just doing the FS, and as usual at the driving schools, I ride there with a naked bike (completely without disguise) through the area. Overall, I manage well with the part, and also had a lot of fun on the country road. Only when it went on the highway for the first time now, I had to fight in the upright sitting position at all to come to 120. The prescribed shoulder view with every lane change is also not so easy / or would I It was also the first ride. Above all I would have liked to give a little bit more fabric with the “100 HP 4-cylinder engine” … The FL thinks that you have to drive at least 130 in the test. Now I ask myself, of course, how fast others drive around in this “upright sitting position” without a windshield? Is the high wind pressure just a matter of habit, or should you just put yourself on the tank like with the super sportsman? I can also I don’t think I’d imagine pulling the machine to the maximum of 250 things… would look forward to the answers.

Leave clothes in the garage?
Since there is a lot of mopped clothes accumulated for two people over time, I am currently superior to having them directly in the garage with the bikes. Does someone have experiences, especially regarding wintering and humidity? Is a very normal brick double garage, just under 60sqm, steel gate. No special insulation, heaters, ventilations. I don’t have a buck that the station wagon is covered with fur in spring but it would be practical. For experiences and tips I’m open
