  • Yamaha XVS 650 does not start

Hello together, my name is Kevin and I drive a Yamaha XVS 650 4VR from 1997. History: I decided to take a break at the beginning of the season to expand my steering switch and have black powder coating. I came back here a little over a month ago and built it all up again. Ignition turned on and noticed it doesn’t start as always the petrol pump (think it’s the petrol pump?), nothing at first. Everything works, turn signal, brake light, off and main light, look e da Hupe is not working. OK I thought to myself later. Full of euphoria E starter pressed and with terrified noticed, nothing. As if the switch was death. OK I thought to myself battery is too weak, bought new and same game as before..everything goes except horn, gasoline pump does not start and e starter does not make a muck. I then read some rum and there it was said it can lie completely on the Killswitch. Thought OK sounds logical, because when I put in there something broke and I I may have thought he has a wackler. So new steering switch got worried. Everything built in full of joy but see there, same problem as before. I slowly despair because unfortunately on the part of Mottorad I also don’t know so well. Gasoline is present in the tank, everything fuses in order (also nothing burns) and battery is new. Killswitch should be fine, because when operating I hear a relay. Maybe someone has an idea about what it might be? And I’m sorry w it is an obvious mistake but as I said, I don’t know myself so well. Thank you in advance.

  • My FZ8 beautifiers… Tips

Hi together… I have something to change before my FZ8. Would you have nice if you had n some suggestions. Planned are: rear silencer, brake and clutch lever, mirror, rims (possibly water transfer pressure… or rim stickers…Color?? ) LED indicator front, footrests… Am not entirely conclusive to me if I should partially be mounted in gold (because of the suspension fork) … especially concerning the clutch and brake levers as well as the feet. Or rather stay with blue/black… Greeting Andy

  • Yamaha XV 500 SE. 1983/1984 – Experiences?

Hello to the municipality, I am just driving A and have the opportunity to get a YAMAHA XV 500 SE in a very good condition. Since you find so little on the internet I thought I asked here for the reliability and general experience reports of this moped. And do you mean a trip from Bavaria (Franken) to Berlin is possible without any problems ? Many greetings

  • From for traction control

In Formula 1 there will be another rule change next year, as the motorsports association FIA announced, the trakrion control will be banned again from the season 2008. (Source & complete article RTL Teletext p. 254 ) friendly Greetings 3295 I personally find this decision very good !! 🙂

  • Norbert Haug: Quo vadis?

What do you think? Could the last DTM race in Barcelona and the events in Formula 1 ultimately mean the end for Haug as head of Mercedes Motorsport? I say Mercedes will break up with Norbert Haug at the end of the 2007 season. Even if he – in my opinion – can’t be overtaken (F1) or over (DTM), he is the head of Stuttgart’s motorsport engagement and will probably have to stick to it in the end. If one of his executives in the media only has to face the ugly questions and at some point literally sinks into unending claims of protection, they should still be so true. I personally don’t think a departure from Haug would be so great. He has led the motorsport activities of Mercedes to a level that – seen over the years – is unrivalled. And he is a type, quasi an original. An appearance, as also with the drivers z is becoming scarce. Salut Alfan

  • aprilia rally 50md only drives max.15km/h o_O

Hi Community I signed up for my scooter earlier, which was only around for a while, was not in operation this year at all. Recently, however, he was inside the workshop, I had to change the battery, otherwise everything was supposed to be tiptop. Now this is the following: Now I’m off and it always went out when I stop. As far as I remember, this is because it has not been used for some time now?!Otherwise he drove normally, but he has reached his 50km/h. That the Ro It was always like this when he started driving a little bit delayed, but then it took about 3-4 seconds until he pulled on and went on normally, then the next traffic light was over. Turning the gas had no effect any more, he didn’t hit. ALso on the sidewalk, stand out and try it like that. Then it went, the rear wheel accelerated, albeit somewhat delayed, quite normal and the scooter got quite loud. Again, and on the road drove again. He tried everything possible for me on a parking lot (I can’t do anything but not too much), but he was faster than 15km/h on a straight track with full gas. Hope it was reasonably understandable^^ Btw: isn’t automatic scooter I thought about the centrifugal force coupling first, but then the wheel shouldn’t turn fast without load, wouldn’t it?! Would it be great if you were May help me Best regards, Marian

  • Crankshaft busted?

Hello, So my Kymco has already broken the 2nd piston of course I was so stupid and didn’t change the cylinder So now I know of course not what it is that the pistons are broken Is there any way to check if the crankshaft is okay? Without going into a workshop and without special tools? The crankshaft is here removed and I assumed that the hood is because the left and right game has net a lot but but what was on the Internet that was normal game but net the KW itself but the part where the piston comes to it Up and down there is nothing Could that be due to the Kw anyway? Or can I assume that the cylinder is to blame? I want to change the cylinder now for 70€ and then find it was due to the crankshaft then I can buy the cylinder + a new crankshaft that I can really not afford Ach and a mistake at the time build I made net And the scooter also drives net too thin And the new piston was already broken after about 10km On the piston are so deep scratches / notches While those are only front and back at the side hardly With front I mean direction outlet And my oil pump is still running
