Cylinder head gasket at Omega B 3.0 MV6
Hello; We probably have a problem with the cylinder head gasket with the Omega B 3.0 MV 6 of my father. Time from the very beginning: About 3 weeks ago we brought the Omega into a workshop to change the timing belt with all the necessary parts and the water pump. After we picked up the car, the cooling fluid sank down after about 3 days and we had to refill it. Well, we thought that there was still air in the system and didn’t think of anything. However, we have had to refill several times and are therefore yesterday again to the workshop. The mechanic now thinks that the cylinder head is broken. The cooling liquid goes probably into the combustion room, because it does not drip out anywhere. In the oil however no water can be seen. From the exhaust comes also no noticeable smoke. It is strange that the cooling liquid only disappears from the timing belt change. Before that we only had to look after it before travelling and before the W inter. But we never had to refill much. Can it have anything to do with the timing belt and water pump change? How much does an exchange of the cylinder head seal or the cylinder head usually cost? I don’t have a good feeling at the workshop now and want to know if the costs are attached there or not. Thank you for your help! Greeting Anna

Or do I have to retrofit any more sensors? Oil pressure e.g. White flasher from the Audi 80 Cabrio I already have here.. I wanted to put a few 17 inch rims on it, has here ever d experience with it? Used car bought. Previous owner did not pay insurance.
Dear Motortalkler, a few weeks ago I bought a used car for approx. 500€. It was submitted to me and used the ADAC purchase contract. In the purchase contract of 01.07. it is noted that the car is transferred to the buyer’s possession as soon as the purchase price is fully paid. Since there were still missing (HU reports) it was agreed to pay 100€ of the purchase price when the missing documents were handed over. I received the missing documents by the seller three days late he and paid the full purchase price on that day. Due to appointments and the short opening hours of the road traffic office, I did not report the car until 5 working days after it had finally entered into my possession. Shortly afterwards I received by registered order that I would have to shut down the vehicle immediately since beginning of 2015 no insurance cover would exist. In addition, I received a cost determination notice about approx. 60€. PS: ADAC purchase contract says “KFZ remains the property of the seller until the purchase price has been paid in full” and “the buyer immediately informs the vehicle owner of the transaction”.

Problems – Driver’s footroom wet
Hello people Have just a problem with the Volvo 940 of a known. (Bj 98 121 KW, Automatic, climate to 2 9101 to 3 763) For some time week after week about 200ml of water is missing in the balance tank often fog the windows in the interior and the floor in the driver’s footroom is wet… My suspicion was from the beginning heating cooler/heat exchanger. I tried to read several times in the forum what it might be about and found something with a valve above the pedals and stop the heater cooler /heat exchanger that is supposed to sit above the passenger footroom.. but there it is not wet.. I only saw driver’s footroom on the right that there was a drop of liquid hanging at the exit of the lower ventilation but was not sure if it is not possibly only water and since the side of the carpet was not wet I am not confused… Found the order very strange… Well maybe someone knows indeed guess.. Has someone possibly got an idea like the heat exchanger out of the whole mess or possibly pictures ???

Important questions about the 760 Oldie
Hello, I am since the 1.4 proud owner of a 1983 760GLE (Automatics, 2.8L, 156hp) with 152tkm on the clock. Is my first vintage car but I just wanted the box absolutely and am very satisfied with it. However, there are now and certainly also in the future questions with which I need help. Therefore also my registration in this forum (pictures of the car I added to my profile). The previous owner could not since he sold the car for his mother-in-law not t say whether I have to refuel Superplus and lead replacement or can drive with Super95? Currently I have a consumption of 20L/100km (I try to drive sparingly but somehow everything does not help). I have to say that mostly short distances have been driven in the city. Is this normal or is it not true? In a crack is a small hole that I still have to weld. Could this contribute to the increased consumption? Besides, I had already started twice in wet weather. When new base gasoline for the V70 III?
When are new base gasoline engines for the V70 (III) coming? It’s nice that the V70 can now be ordered, but many people probably do not use the turbos and 6/8 cylinders for this traditional family combination and are still waiting for solid entry-level variants.
