    Hello dear MT’ler, I have a somewhat strange question I’m looking for a small car as indestructible as possible. The only mandatory criteria are: – Year of construction 2004 or new – engine smaller than 1.4l (if possible smaller than 1.2l) Why? I drive from Europe about 15,000 kilometers to Mongolia, through Iran, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, etc. etc. The route is largely not asphalted, comes through the desert (I suppose a lot of sand is a problem?)… st I’m looking for something like an old Fiat Panda or Nissan Micra (really indestructible), only with a year of construction newer than 2004. In addition, the car should be as easy as possible to repair, so that it can be done somewhere in Central Asia. Budget, more or less no matter… would say about 5,000 euros.
