  • 2.0 D rising oil level

People, I need your help. With my 07 C30 3.0 D the oil level is rising. I have already rummaged a bit in the net and I have come to the conclusion that there are problems with the D5 or 2.4 D there, also isolated cases with the 2 liter engine. My friend said, after consultation with Sweden, that the problem is not known and after transmission of all the values of my car I now wait for a feedback from Sweden. Well, that the net is known I can not quite believe – just because of isolated hits on the Internet – and now I ask into the illustrious round, who has heard of it or who is affected by it. quite diligent can also post, what could be the problem thank you!

  • V50 1.6D Service Content 60.000 km or 3 years?

Hello, I just got my V50 1.6d from the three-year inspection and the price didn’t inspire me (with TÜV about 800€). What I was particularly upset about is that the workshop apparently also performs the filling up of the DPF additive at 60,000km, although the car has only 40.000 km on it. Likewise, all possible filters were exchanged, of which I suspect they were also good for a mileage of 60,000 km. (Doesn’t know when they will exchange the DPF for me…) Do you lose the assistance services / connection guarantee if you only have the necessary measures due to the mileage? Can you arrange this with a contract workshop, only the exchange necessary due to the mileage? I didn’t deliver and picked up the car and could not intervene in time. Thank you for your help!

  • Front passenger seat and rear seat:

Hi! Must open a new topic here, as I will not find anything with the SuFu. Had to get something from the hardware store today (L=2.20 m), woman and child with me. I then changed the backrest of the passenger seat according to operating instructions, etc., and then the seat to the front under the arm maturen board. So far, so well. With the back seatrests then came the shock: the right back leg, that behind the foldable passenger seat, goes only with the middle back rest. The left, those behind the driver’s seat, individually for itself. Thus, one is forced, if one moves the passenger seat for transport (with me was a wooden bar) to take over the rear two legs, and thus only has a seat for one person to take away. Exactly wrong solved, because the back leg of the driver’s seat can never be killed anyway, so the only way to transport longer objects is now the side of the passenger. Or do I just do something wrong? MfG charles164?

  • is bought??? Volvo 850 Kombi Automatic BJ 1995

Hello guys, I think I bought incredible scrap. 850 Kombi Automatik, BJ1995, 390000tkm for 890,-€ I have to say to my apologies that I don’t have any money, but urgently need a combination for this little money. The Swede seemed to me the most reliable in the price class, and I always wanted to drive Volvo. Well, at the test drive everything seemed OK (for me as a layman) Today I picked up the part and after 15km he jerks when starting (does not pull somehow) and in the parking lot I also dropped the tailpipe. What do you think, should I see that I return the thing as quickly as possible (if I still get out of the number) or is there something to do? Can the fallen tailpipe be connected to the ruckelei? So that he doesn’t pull in front anymore because there is something missing in the back? Thanks already in advance Uta

  • Timing belt change homemade

Hello dear elk friends, after I spent some time in the SuFu on the topic of ZR-change and also found great contributions, I would like to know a few more questions: 1.) Does the sentence apply here as well: only original Volvo parts, or are the e.g. Skandix home brand parts also recommended? 2.) Which “special tools” or which tools do I need to simplify the work? 3.) Which additional works should I do right away (clearly WaPu times excluded)? 4.) Does the WaPu have to be “read” by the Volvo dealer by Pc? (have read what) 5.) Are there only English instructions? I refer to my elk here: C70I Turbo, 2.5L,193PS, Bj1999 Many greetings from Hessen Hessenelchc70

  • Request for RAT for control unit in the trunk !!! Various electrics is not possible >>>

The following doesn’t work: Electric window lifter + central locking / radio + blower + flasher + tank display + and probably a lot more, which I can’t just check everything. I just bought a car ( Alfa 156 – EZ 2000 . 1.8 liters – 106 KW) and is not standing with me because of other problem. There should be a control unit for these things (and possibly other failures) that should be on the rear wall in the trunk under the panel. Who knows about it – about costs / other problems etc. I am grateful for every tip, because I am dependent on cheap (selbermachen) – possibility because of lack of money.

  • Retrofit Alfa 159 front fog lamps

Meal people, I have now bought two fog lights apertures and keep the fog lights from my Alfa 156, as they should be the same. Then I had upgraded myself from the scrap yard from an Alfa 159 straight away with my switch control unit. Now I have installed everything in my Alfa and already pulled cables to the safety box in the driving room to the left of the steering wheel. But since the plug from the control unit has the same number of cables as the one from the Alfa with fog I think all the other is also prepared. Can one tell me if and where for the fog in the engine room or the safety box connections for the fog lights could be. In the Fiat eper it looks as if the cable connection from the fog goes into the main headlights. But can one connect these anywhere or there are connections in the distribution boxes in the engine room!?

  • Fog and brake lamps do not work

Hello guys, I think I’m going to be stupid … Warning light on the dashboard tells me that some lighting component is broken. All-round check shows that the right fog lamp does not work. New bulb used, still nothing. Another new bulb – still broken. I noticed with all the wusel that the brake lights do not work, but only the outer, the third light. So: Right fog lamp and the outer brake lights do not work. Other lighting is intact. I checked fuses, they are fine. Also the plug connections and contacts of the lights (fine and bent). As I said, I think I’m going to be stupid … Can someone help me? Thank you very much! bukowski3008

  • C70 Convertible Purchase Advice – 2001 or 2004?

Hello together, after my Saab convertible has unfortunately skyrocketed due to a technical defect in the airbag control, I am looking for a C70I. I used the SuFu of course, but unfortunately I did not find anything to my question. Can you tell me if there are big differences in the technology or the equipment between the years 2000/2001 and 2003/2004? Thank you!
