I just got a demonstration car from my dealer. 9-3 current model Lim. 1.8t BioPower. When I took over the car he had about 3500 km on the speedometer and in the on-board computer a consumption of 12.2 l (E85) was indicated for the last 450 km. I was horrified. I am currently driving a brainwashed 9-3 SportCombi 1.9 TiD. With I also need with sportive motorway ride (usually over 200 km/h) only about 7.5 max. 8 liters diesel. d if we drive it normally about 1/2 city 1/2 short distance overland then we are at 6,9 to about 7,2 l. So far the BioPower really does not knock me off and especially since the E85 costs us at present 1.08 Euro. I was just with my Saab in Bolzano and back again, with small excursions about 1450 km, then I would have become poor with the BioPower! What experiences did you have??? What is the consumption and the costs with other users??? and I’m starting to look around for a follower, because I usually buy demonstration cars or half-yearly cars. So far I’ve always had good experiences and bargains, it just takes a little more time to look for them.

Saab 93 154 PS and Hirschmann. Big problem
3 weeks ago, I bought a Saab 93 Bj. 2000 with 154 Ps and Hirschmann tuning on 222 HP, with 58000 km. Unfortunately, I have a huge problem with the vehicle. From the third gear when I get right on the gas, it falls into a power hole at exactly 3200 revolutions. It is not a normal turbo hole but a really massive dropout. It slows down for a short time and does not deliver any performance. After this dropout it moves properly. So as I said it is neither in the he I had the car here with my Saab dealer who unfortunately has no idea what’s going on with it and is desperately looking for a mistake. The master here probably also knows less about the Hirsch tuning sentence. My private email is -edit, wvn – private mail address removed – I am happy about all the posts here. many thanks in advance.

!Brake lamp on in curves
Salut municipality for a few days it is more and more common with my Saabinchen that the Brake lamp lights up during bends (circular etc.) and the red exclamation mark. Also after it still Ding-Dong. At straight drive the light only goes on when I brake strongly. So I looked at the stand of the brake fluid first. So stands between Min and Max. Fits. Cover I also screwed up and shaked. The float also does not hang. the liquid was quite dirty. But was changed at the last service (May 2004). Then I made a visual inspection of the front documents. The external documents still look good, there is still material on it. I can look bad at the inner ones. Also the brake discs look good. Can it be that the inner brake pads are covered faster than the outer ones??? That would be rather uncool, would mean that the brake pulls on one side. ung?? Can I check something or do I have to go back to the nice guys in St.Gallen??

Ford LTD Landau
Hey! don’t really find a rubric here, where I could ask for my Ford.. therefore just the attempt here: I drive a 77 Ford LTD Landau, 5.2 L V8, 325 HP… Just 8 days ago bought. and now the small “American” problems already started Are there (suffering-)-shafts comrades, who also drive a car of the LTD Riege? A manual was unfortunately not included in the purchase price, so it is already difficult to look up the small things for a short time. Prob lem No. 1: Starting process very difficult, after about 20 seconds starter operation it starts on the 2nd or 3rd attempt (of course NOT been like this during the test drive). Therefore the simple question: does the part nen Choke somewhere? So far for the first time, you would do me a huge favor if I could get an email address, HP or something like that. many thanks and gruss 1200mexblack

Is there anyone here with the GM 4L80-E? Problems with the oil filling quantity.
Hello together, does someone with the above-mentioned transmission know each other? Have such a device installed in a foreign factory and problems to fill the correct quantity of oil or to measure. It started with an oil change with a (self-proclaimed) expert, however, because of the unexpectedly bad access to the oil filter, the same was not exchanged. Therefore, the factory-specified 13 liters of transmission oil could not be filled in, but one felt itself over the track This was obviously not successful, because subsequent switching operations under heavy load were only possible with great delay during the switching process, moreover the car smelled hot-dried for transmission oil. I then measured the oil level again and came to the realization that too much was filled in, the measuring rod was wetted beyond the scale. Furthermore, I noticed when driving that I did not lock the 3rd gear via the manual switching lane. nd, when I set the selector lever to ‘2’, was nevertheless switched to the 3rd gear. I then sucked oil and from then on the switching operations under load were better, the car also no longer smelled like transmission oil, in cold condition I could also successfully lock the 3rd gear via the selector lever, but from a certain operating temperature it was switched back to the 3rd. I have now already measured the oil level 100 times (each with warm oil with previous through scarf). The values shown on the ‘hot’ and on the ‘cold’ side of the measuring rod are sometimes very different and usually only the lower part of the scale is clearly wetted with oil (at the current level about one third), but a thin oil film usually extends beyond the upper end of the scale. So I ask myself, is there still too much in it or rather too little? Does the non-blocking of the upper driving stages with the oil sta hang with the nd together or is this maybe a completely different construction site? Thanks and greetings Olli

Uprising accident: how much does the verse pay?
So first of all sorry if the topic was dealt with here schin. Question: Is the insurance entitled to create its own test report on its own and then calculate it? Case: I stand at a crossroads, the other drives on it at the back. So far, so good, he is guilty. KVA let, invoice/AH says sum “X” (under 2,000 teuros). Sent to the opposing verse. That attracts besides the sales stencil (that you may also, if the proof of a actually arrived reperature is missing. ) also a further sum “Y”. Reason: If I had had the repetition done in a workshop you selected, a lower amount > sum = X – Y would have come out. So they simply deduct the difference as “punishment”. And now the experts among you: Can I file a protest against it or the like and get the full sum refunded? thx already now for your answers!

383 cui Stroker
Hello everybody, I have a question about 383cui Stroker. I always thought, such an engine is a 350 with the crankshaft from the 400s. But finally I read about “destroken”. This should be a 400cui block with the crankshaft from the 350s and also this should be a 383?! Can this really be?! And what more to recommend/better? Greetings Camaro
