Hello Elche, after I have recently easily exceeded the 100,000 km, now the following problem occurs at irregular intervals. I accelerate evenly in the fourth or fifth gear, then at approx. 2,300 revolutions the speed falls jerky by approx. 200 – 300 revolutions, after which the acceleration continues normally. The problem does not occur in the first three gears. It only occurs occasionally, sometimes not a whole day. I was at, this has no error My XC 60 (07/2010) will soon be able to go to the , so that he can approach the error. Has anyone ever had something similar, which might limit the error? I have also recorded the phenomenon on mobile phone, which I will send to the sender tomorrow. Ratlose GrΓΌΓe aus dem flachen Norddeutschland

My Volvo – fine thing!
Hello Volvo Enthusiasten, since in another post I have already referred to the service MyVolvo, here again the link. I find it a great thing, because you have for your own vehicle all necessary data ready, i.e. everything that has been installed and what you need (motor oil quality and all filling quantities, production date, extras etc.) Service appointments can be registered online and many more gimmicks. This service may already clarify some questions. before it is placed, you only have to search through yourself and even the manual is available Should someone have posted something similar before, sorry greetings teonash

Presentation and first question…
Hello, I’m new here in the forum and wanted to introduce myself briefly. I come from Switzerland and last week I received my xc 60 t6 lime green 2008 model. Yes, it’s a different ride like the impreza wrx, which was always a loyal companion. Hope the volvo will also do this:-) the first long-distance test proved to be very comfortable and pleasant. So to the question: does the 2008 with the city safe recognize even pedestrians or is this only the case with the newer models? dler thinks he recognizes these and also told me that the distance controller in connection with the automatic in the stairway slows down to zero.. In the test of this function, the tempomat sounded at about 40 km/h and I had to take over myself. Do I do something wrong or did the dealer just want to specify something? I’m curious to answer your questions. Gruss Smapo

Heico Performance Increase for the XC60 DRIVe MJ2011 or not?
Hello together, I am currently busy with the question “Heico performance increase for the XC60 DRIVe MJ2011 or not?” – We ordered this car, of course, without performance increase. It should be delivered next month. Should I first drive the car like this or have it equipped directly with the performance increase? I just can’t decide, especially since 1800 EUR are not very little money. Of course, nobody can take this decision from me, but m I’d be interested in your pros and contras.

V60: Buy now quickly before price increase 11/2012 or wait for Facelift?
Hello, I am currently planning to buy a new car, and the V60 has the best chances. Since there is a juicy price increase on the one hand at the beginning of November, on the other hand, a facelift is obviously announced for 2013, I am faced with the decision to hit it quickly now, or rather to wait. My Mazda 6 has already nearly 180T km down, but it will last for a while, so that’s not the problem. The Facelift model has a higher residual value in return, and it may be possible to negotiate larger discounts if the FL approaches, but if you choose the “old” model, I would like to mention the topic in another thread, but I would like to have as many opinions as possible, which is why I have a special topic. What do you think about it? I am grateful for opinions … VG Moon

News: Volvo Car Corporation announces temporary stand-still at the Torslanda plans
For more information: Quote: Volvo Car Corporation announcements temporary stand-still at the Torslanda plans Volvo Car Corporation has decided to temporarily stop production in the Torslanda plant during week 44, from October 29 to November 2. The measure is taken based on a continuous deadline of the automotive market, primarily in Europe. Therefore a further adjustment to Volvo Car Corporation’s manufacturing operation is necessary. The decision to temporarily stop production means that the Torslanda plant e mployees will be on leave with pay through a combination of utilising time banks and leave of absence. “Europe is the main market for Volvo Car Corporation and the continued recession is naturally affecting the demand for our cars. Against this background, it is essential for us to continue to use the built-in flexibility we have within our manufacturing system,” says Jan Gurander, CFO and acting President & CEO of Volvo Car Corporation. The temporary production stop is in addition to an earl ier decision to reduce the production pace in the Torslanda plant from 57 cars to 50 cars per hour. That change came into effect on October 1. There are no plans for changes to the permanent work force at the Torslanda plant.

V50 Hidden Technique
Hello V50 driver, I would be interested in what you have discovered about your V50, which may not (or not obviously) be in the manual. I recently found out that when the rain sensor is switched on (it is only for the windshield) when the rear windscreen wiper is inserted in the reverse gear. Very useful tool in my opinion. Then I read there are things like “Global Open”, heist open all the windows when you get rid of them (must be unlocked at the time. W otherwise you know about (hidden) behavior of the V50 what you could list here. Greetings handlebars

Ever satisfied V50 drivers??
Hello again, as I said, after a long time I would like to change Audi and VW to a VOLVO V50 2.0D (equipment etc. in my other topic). Now I really had a long time in this forum and somehow the subjective impression that according to the entries there should not be a V50 2.0D without any engine problems? There is a series of new SW played up, parts changed or adjusted (from the air mass meter over the AGR valve (whatever that is) to the T Also the consumption values do not seem to really convince. In addition the story with the noises and the high brake and tire wear…Get in, let on, arrive: Does this with a V50 at all without a monthly meeting with the workshop master?????? In the forums of other manufacturers can clearly not find difficult problems so often! Who convinces me anyway?

Noise Windscreen wiper
Had recently found a completely new source of noise – lighter rain – so rain sensor and every time the wiper reached the dead point a metal noise not loud but audible – and as of miraculously the next day everything was in order again! a second phono I could also notice, if I in the city at approx., 1200 -1400rpm with inserted passage to the traffic light roll the car is somehow different regarding noise louder and somehow unpleasant as soon as disembarkation Pelt is getting this noise away. has made any of you already similar experiences!!! bearded

S40 acclimatization (T5)
It seems a bit stupid to start this thread, but I’m still interested in it: I’ve had my S40 T5 (new car) for a week and I haven’t had such trouble driving a car yet. The grinding point of the clutch must be right on the millimeter, otherwise the engine will choke off or the car will run off like Sau (depending on whether too much or too little). The resistance of the pedal is very strong – pushes your foot up. I also noticed that the accelerator will react quite late. Had 3 Nissans before, so you could tap a little bit and the speed went up, the Volvo has to push quite a bit until the engine reacts. But I noticed the same already when testing another T5, but I ignored it. Is that “coupling accuracy” just like that with Volvo or is that something over time? I have to say that my latest car so far was 8 years ago, my last one was 14 when I got it π So I’m full of newcomers in new cars π a second “bad” question. How do you do it when you park? I have no idea how long my FZ is, because I don’t see over the hood – what I seem to have quite used to with my Nissans. I always put it backwards to the wall because I have (fortunately) sensors. Does an S40/V50 driver have a tip ??? Gruss $id (again sorry for this thread π )
