Hello Saabgemeinde! Have a question again, this time to the climate experts. What can it be that the pressure in the low and high pressure side of the air conditioning system is the same high? Unfortunately we have to find this out today when I checked the system and filled it up again. As soon as the system runs with full force I have noticed about 13 bar in the system. Both in the low and in the high pressure side! Can it be that the compressor has a thing away? Something is wrong I noticed that the air did not flow out of the nozzles as cold as usual and that the blower is constantly running on the highest floor at great heat, and even at 25 degrees takes forever to cool down the inside room. Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Real consumption at CV D-Cat?
Hello first of all. I need a new car – my Saab has been shot down (unfortunately!) and is looking for an alternative that offers me similar driving fun with more economy. I am on the road a good 35,000 km a year and don’t buy 177hp to use it more often. This also includes regular motorway rides beyond the 150km/h. How is the consumption then, because a van is particularly low-currently not (but the space is tempting)? So – who drives his Verso not in the gentle course but rather with the pedal on the floor plate and tells me honestly what the consequences have on the fuel meter? Greeting by moose

Special model Auris D4-DS
Hello, TOYOTA is under great pressure with the Auris. One has given a large 4-page information to the trade to motivate the sales team. As I already announced in the thread “Auris Approvals” there is a special model from spring. A white sport version of the 177 hp diesel version. Prices are not yet known. Picture see installation! Greeting, Kühli PS: What happens to the special model, if the diesel price is still so high in the spring? Do we then have another shopkeeper?

Oil change interval Auris 2.0
Hello, I have a little understanding problem I think. And the bad… my dealer also believes. Inspection at the Auris -> all 15tkm clear. Fitness and service check. So now the question. When the oil change is due. My dealer meant for the first time stubbornly after 15tkm or all 15tkm. In the manual is written on p. 261f. The following. Diesel engine: Oil service after 30000km (is displayed in the display) without indication of which diesel. One line below: Oil service after 35000km (is displayed in the display) without indication of which diesel. And in the service booklet stands for the work to be carried out: **Oil change after 30000km…. Who or what is correct now? Or should it be called…. Change after 30,000km the oil and if the display signals it before then it must be! I think the dealer is wrong with the 15tkm. How do you interpret this?

Corolla Verso D-Cat
Hello, everyone. I have a concern, because of the increasing family members I have to sell my BMW 520d ( 136 hp) and buy a van. Today I had the opportunity to get to know a Verso D-Cat. To be honest, I was very scared about the loud engine, I have always heard and read that this car should have very quiet inside noise, here is the question, is it because of the noise insulation? Which engines do people compare when they claim that it is very quiet? Isn’t it correct to compare this with BMW, which is already 5 years old and has less hp? How are the experiences with engine noise? Before the BMW I had Avensis D4D, I have the feeling that nothing has become quieter, or am I mistaken? Thank you already in advance!

Coupling problems or givers/takers?
Hi guys, I’ve got a Saab 9000 CS 2.3 Bj.94 and my Saab is having trouble switching. The last time driving the gagne went in as usual buttery soft. Then suddenly immense increased effort when switching. I brought the gears, when driving as the problem hardly occurred any more. It seems to work a bit better when you push the clutch down to the ground. The pressure of the clutch pedal seems to be normal and the pedal comes back again quite normal after passing through. During the last rides, a slight jerking was felt especially during the first gear when driving. Has there been more of the clutch flutes or does that suggest more to a problem with the encoder/accepter? Can that possibly have to do with the switching rod? Thank you for your help!

Overheating risk
Dear Saabgemeinde, last weekend I drove at 180 km/h on the highway, and the needle of the temperature indicator wandered into the upper third. The outside temperature was 17 degrees. Therefore, I reduced the speed to 140 km/h, and the needle commuted in the middle area. I drive the car since August last year, and I have often noticed that the temperature indicator rises so high, but in urban traffic and at standstill. It is a 2.3 liter turbo engine, mileage 185,000 km, therefore 180 km/h should not be over-stressed. Should not the highway generate enough air cooling at higher speeds and thus the temperature range is in the middle area? Three weeks ago my cylinder head seal has burned through, and therefore I am a bit anxious now… I would be happy about reassuring words 😉 Greeting Ronald Saabgemeinde,

chip + gas
hello, whenever you say ‘gas’ or ‘save’ in a breather, you’ll get as ‘yes, why not buy a car with the desired power’ or ‘all one chip = more covert, chip + gas is much more harmful’. as far as everything is reasonable, however, the motor around which I am concerned is a 1.6t (z16let) of opel, which is to be chipped on about 210ps/300nm. this is known to be gas-proof, but has a small space of space. and exactly in such a case one would have to get the opposite answer. the ‘high-breeded’ the engine is better for him, the better gas is for him. or: the more radical one can ‘bubble it up’. I just wanted to know if I think about the right direction. are the 225ps offered by eds in connection with a (possibly liquid) gas system, the better one can ‘bubble it up’, or is just about the same as the ‘bubble’?

Time and again problems with unlocking the power cable on the vehicle side
I always have problems with the charging socket on the side of the vehicle. Normally the KFz unlocks the plug when I open the vehicle. Recently, however, the problems pile up. Charging is finished and I want to pull the plug, which does not work. Most of the time I have to connect everything again, lock the vehicle and then open it again, so that the plug is released. A bit annoying, if you have to try 4-6 x to finally pull the cable out of the can. According to my friend, an entry was stored in the error memory (misfunction at the unlocking). On 10.10.2022 I have appointment for precise diagnosis. I am curious what comes out of it. Vehicle is now 1 year and 3 months old (kilometer 16xxx) and I have warranty.

Winter tires or all weather?
Hello people, the winter is coming near, at least weather-wise, and I am looking for a winter tire for my Tarraco 2.0 TSI 180kw. My Tarraco is leased and goes back in 2.5j. How do you do this with leasing? I had planned to buy cheap winter complete wheels (no Seat Original, 18 inches instead of 19/20) and after a few years to see what you do with it. The workshop, where I used to change bikes with my passat before, however, advised me not to buy them and instead to buy all-weather tyres that would pull them up on the current rims. These would have developed well in recent years and are similarly good. For this reason, I would say that with the offer of about 1000€ the annoying dates for changing and the cost of storing them, which amounts to about 5×100€. I could even sell the summer tires, which are only a few months used. Against this, I would have heard less good from all-weather tyres. The costs for new rims and tires, if it does not amount to the average quality, but maybe more than the average.
