  • Motor-remote-remote in D prohibited or allowed?

A few weeks ago I met an Escalade driver (here in D) and asked him if he also had the engine remote start. He said that this was forbidden in D. Now there are quite a few on mobile.de with this option, the first even marked as “Germany version”http://suche.mobile.de/…/172144901.htmlhttp://suche.mobile.de/…/163585376.htmlhttp://suche.mobile.de/…/162878589.html I found nothing useful on the web, whether this feature is allowed or forbidden, only here is a discussion on MT, which seems to me to be unburdened by real expertise. Does any of you have reliable information about the question of whether motor-remote is allowed or forbidden, if possible with ยงยง-foundation? Thank you! PS: What is remote start? Here is a video, from approx. 0:42http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0V8P8Abyk4

  • Tracking of packages from overseas

Hello! I bought a part in Canada from private, and it’s on my way to me. As such shipments are rather longer on the road, I like to follow them by means of the tracking number that the seller mailed me. Now my package has a larger round trip through Canada, and now seems to have been in Montreal for 1 week. I guess it’s not there anymore, but it’s already heading towards D. (or already at the “slow” inch) Is there a way the package after handed over I know, actually not really important the whole thing, but you have time, as long as the spring is still waiting for you. If you want to keep tracking the packages to the Germans??? Are the packages basically handed over to DHL?

  • 1973 Dodge Challenger too little power

Hi am quite new here and a beginner at US-Cars. Hope therefore that I do not post into the wrong forum. I recently bought a 1973 Dodge Challenger in orange metallic and am actually very happy with the vehicle. Except as already mentioned in the headline he has too little power. At least in my opinion. Here first the key data of the car: 73 Challenger (Swiss first delivery) 340 cui Smallblock 5.5 liters or what the has 727 floor shifter 3-speed automatic (g) At least I’ll let you) Edelbrock carburetor (with a rather degraded air filter on top druff) So if I drove my engine nice and warm and then out of the way I don’t have the quietest chance to get the wheels to spin, despite 2.6 bar in the back and 2.4 in the front … Well, according to the vehicle letter, at 180KW at 4800 rpm and with an empty weight of just under 1.6 tons, that should actually work or not? Would you like to know from experts what’s going on? Or if that’s normal. As I said, I’m not just new in the forum, but I don’t know myself very well with Amishlitten If someone needs pictures or so he should write that in. Thank you, Michi!

  • Uralt GPZ 750, carburetors run over, start button does not work

I changed the motorcycle (84s) years ago for a car, since then it stood around with me. 3 years ago I used to swap the scrapy 4in1 system again for an original one, otherwise actually nothing. It was always like that, when you turn up the petrol tap, runs down out of the carburetor battery fuel. Yesterday the oats bit me once and I removed the carburetor battery (sch… game). All float chambers degraded and found a lot of dirt and also in the third e in fixed float needle valve. I cleaned everything and that looked good as well. When blowing through the central gas hose you notice that all floats close (gasifiers on the head) or open when they are right again. I have installed them again and connected them to an emergency tank, the original one is filled with an undefined mixture of old fuel, rust and water. And again dripping fuel out ๐Ÿ™ It is not even recognizable from which gas he. The positive, the part runs great, after a few years of service, two of them outside, is the one that jumped directly at the first start attempt. The second problem is that the start button doesn’t work. With the old thing, it’s just a requirement that the gearbox is idle, right? Neutral lamp is on. Does the cable go directly from the handlebar to the starter relay and where does it go long? Thanks for tips…

  • Purchase of a Kawasaki GPZ 550 (1984)

Hello dear community, I got myself a well-preserved Kawasaki GPZ 550 (1984), which now only stood around for 12 years. In the vehicle note the machine has about 50hp, but I am somehow unsure, maybe one of you has a plan. My uncle and I try to bring the Kawasaki back to the front, however we have some questions: The air valve, which is at the front fork, how much pressure in cash comes in and/or Sticksto ff. Can you inflate it with a standard bicycle air pump? Above the side stand there is a kind of welded fuse, into which the side stand could be plugged, or what is this? I will send you the photos of the air valve on the front fork, the fuse for the side stand as well as a photo of the carburettor. Greeting Nik86

  • Sturdy power failure – controller defect – KZ650 – D / F motor

Hello Together I wanted to revive a KZ650SR and did most of it. This machine actually had an engine of the D variant (contact ignition) installed in the original. Then the previous owner of the engine was replaced by the engine of the F variant (contactless ignition). The wire harness was adapted to this. When I picked up the machine, it had power. The engine ran … although … well. Now it’s like that I always have the following problems: The engine runs some Z … then the current is off. Wants to say: nothing is going on anymore. No lamp, no ignition, no glimm lamp … nothing. Safety is okay … before and after the fuse is voltage. I now change the controller .. everything is going on again. So the controller is defective. BUT: After an uncertain time x … the same happens again. The machine has not been driven a meter yet … we only talk about the test operation in the stand. In this way I have heated up 3 controllers so far. The only explanation is that the only I now have an ironing that the controller that is installed with me (it has a cable bundle with 6pin plug, but with only 5 connectors and separately a cable with single connection …see pictures) does not fit the F motor. Therefore, my question: – Does anyone know if the controllers of the motors with contact ignition have different values than the controllers of the motors with contactless ignition? If yes, which please. – Does anyone know if the controllers of the F motors have the same connections as those of the D Mot oren (see pictures)? If no, can someone please send me an image of such a controller for the F motor? Ideally also with type plate/exact designation and connections? – Does anyone know how the harness of the SR (formerly D motor) would have to be converted (concretely) so that the controller fits for the F engine variant? If this is necessary. I hope I can solve the problem. Would the machine not like to give in to the parts recycling. Thanks and VG Tom

  • Piaggio type C18 which year of construction???

Hello! Maybe someone can help me? I bought a Piaggio scooter cheaply. Now I wanted to get signs for it and don’t know which year this is. On the equipment permit is the following: Mini-wheel scooter 50 KM/H Type C18 vehicle Ident No.: ZAPC18……… there under Piaggio Deutschland GmbH Diedorf, 01.10.1998 What kind of scooter is this? Don’t find anything about C18 on the internet. On the key chain stands NRG (must not name anything) About a scooter I would be pleased to hear the answer of a friend.

  • Retrieve GPZ 500 from 50 hp to 60 hp

Hello everybody, I haven’t been here for a couple of weeks now, because my GPZ 600 runs like clockwork ๐Ÿ™‚ Now to my question: I bought a nice GPZ 500 Bj. 88 for my girlfriend on the weekend. This has 50 hp in the appearance, which is probably true. Since she is doing her driver’s license and wants to get the “open” appearance directly, the machine must have at least 60 hp for the test (i.e. the original, open performance of the GPZ 500). Who can tell me how ic h get the GPZ now from 50 hp to 60 hp?? I know! There are a lot of things in the forums. But I have only found the removals from 34 to 60 hp. Is it true that in this case (50 hp to 60 hp) I only have to change the carburettor lids?? Thank you and many greetings, Claus

  • Speedfight after rolling let only hardly acceleration = Vario ?

Hello dear scooter drivers, we have in the family our Peugeot Speedfight 2 LC Bj. 2002 (which I used to drive too), the scooter is largely in the original condition. The scooter has now run about 23000 km and drives as far as really neat. It is also normal to 50 throttled. Acceleration is great and so it is also a very reliable vehicle. The only small problem that appears at the moment is when you let the scooter roll (so to make the gas) and langsa m becomes (e.g. if you drive through a gyro) and then gives back gas (so between 25-30 km/h, without the coupling uncoupled) the variomatics keeps the speed so low that it is hardly possible to accelerate. You give gas on a straight track and it takes about 2-3 seconds until the speed goes up and then the scooter accelerates back to normal. This is always annoying if you want a steep mountain here in the opposite direction and in front of a car slowly becomes e.g. if one starts from then there is no more strength and you have to stop for a short time and start from the stand so that you can speed up again. Maybe someone can tell me if this is a typical sign of wear and tear of the Vario or if I simply have to make other weights pure? I have the presumption that it is due to a wrong tuning of the variator.. If so: Do I have to become heavier or lighter with the weights? I will be the Vario at the end of the week We have changed the rollers some time ago because the scooter had been throttled to 25 km/h but after that we made the normal ones again. They had not yet entered at that time. I know that there should be 9 grams of weights in there, but I am not sure which ones are now in there. I mean something between 8 and 9 gram. The belt was auc h already changed (but it’s already a good 10,000 km ago) yes and the converter got a new spring once. The rest is a series. I mean that the scooter a few years ago when I was driving it “turned” faster so that you could speed up better. Well maybe someone knows the problem and can tell me which direction to look for ๐Ÿ™‚ Say already many thanks in advance ๐Ÿ™‚
