The probably big BMW meeting worldwide ! 2000 BMWs and 5700 visitors in 2005.. This time again with gigantic program and 1/4 miles race – even 2 jet cars with total 30,000 hp – more show does not of course also Show&Shine review with about 250 trophies.     What was the number of units of the Z3 QP with 3.0l engine ?? Hope that I find a good offer in the summer because at Mobile there are under 20 pounds almost only M-Coupes or 3.0l beyond the 100 tkm mark. Hope you can help me….

  • Brakes & tires – Completely all right? -Traffic safe? -Medium? – Wearing?

    Hallows love Motor Talk Community I uploaded three pictures here to start a small survey. It’s about the condition of the pictured brake disc and the pictured tires.How to assess the condition ???? Everyone can say something about it, I’m curious what comes out of it and how far the opinions differ.The resolution of the tires and the brake comes later.

  • Bussing Bus Towing…..Compressed air from the towing vehicle???

    Moin….I bought a Büssing bus, which we would like to transfer in the next 8 weeks……in the best case we can do this on our own axle (should have been driven a year ago). In the worst case we have to tow if there is something on the road. We have suitable trucks and tow bar….Power supply should not be the problem on 100 KM….also take a car with us, which in case of emergency will be secured to the rear. From the logical point of view, I would connect a compressed air hose from the tyre filling valve to a connection to the bus and of course I would look at it that it is so installed that it cannot tear off during the journey. Can anyone tell me if a Büssing BJ. 65 has already such tyre filling connections???and of course my theory is correct?????

  • known problems TGA engine?

    Hello dear technicians here in the forum, I have a problem again with a TGA engine. Is a TGA H05, Bj2001 with D2876LH4 460hp and 520tkm (+side drive) which creates cooling water in quantities into the oil and engine oil runs out of the exhaust manifold. However, I changed the cylinder head seals already last week without success. Is there anything known about the motors that tend to crack somewhere or the barrel sockets leak? Or any hidden seal? Water loss also with a different TGA with the same data on km and engine… Maybe someone has an idea, which helps me. Thank you in advance. And still a hint to all brand fetishists. Here is not about that other brands allegedly don’t have that. THIS TGA ARE NUN MAL DA AND SHOULD RETURN!!!!

  • Thinking mistakes discount protection or everything right?

    Hi, am I making a mistake of thinking or everything right? Currently insured with the Generali, liability SF11 , comprehensive SF13, but only due to special classifications and discount protection. Today came the bill, just over 1000€ contribution would be due. We asked which SF steps will be passed on to a possible successor insurer, that would be SF5 with the total liability and SF6 with the total liability. Then looked directly at Cosmos, with discount protection and 200€ less deductible the post would be 840€!!. So I really assume that despite the discount protection at Generali it is worth to let the protection expire and be classified into the real SF classes with the successor insurer, in order to save money with it?   • BMW Forum Meeting! THE DATE!!!

    I’m going to leave the place out and come to the date for a moment! Yes, summer would be great, but some have family with whom you go on holiday in the summer and in my opinion the participation in summer will not be as high as I hoped, so I would suggest spring and then think of May! – May 1 is a holiday and also Thursday, so how about the weekend on 3 and 4 May?
