Cylinder head disassembly/assembly
Hello. Have a Volvo C70 2.0T 120Kw, which now has an engine damage. The 5th cylinder has no compression any more. Since the car has already 220tkm, I do not want to have the repair done in the workshop. At the moment a defective valve is suspected. Car sold via dealer – new buyer has questions
Hello! About 2 months ago I gave my used car in payment when buying a new car. The car was then probably forwarded by the dealer to another dealer (“purchaser” which has now obviously sold the car. The car given by me in payment (VW Golf IV) has been regularly maintained and has m. E. – I am not an “auto expert” – no obvious flaws, which I would have tacitly concealed. Now a letter of the new owner reached me, de The new owner has approached me with many questions. Little surprising he wants to have some information about the acquired vehicle, e.g. repairs carried out, defects that I have already noticed, there is allegedly a Macke on the rear bumper (of which I don’t know anything), alleged ambiguities with regard to the km stand at the timing belt change (this has been carried out in a VW specialist workshop; evidence is available). r uncertain how to react to this letter: On the one hand, I have nothing to blame myself for any hidden defects, on the other hand, I am very surprised that the new owner approaches me after (!) the purchase and wants further information. BMW N57 engine 530d starts from 3000U/min and blocks heavy gelatin /WHY total rattle
Hello dear forum, I’ve seen and experienced a lot, but now I’m standing for an absolute rattle and urgently need help and exchange with like-minded screwdrivers. It’s about a 530d F11/F10 N57 engine (N57d30a). The car had a defective on the control chains, were hanged and started to hit, noticed it in the speed range from 1500 to 2300 rpm. So I got new control chains (Original Ina Chains) camshaft high pressure pump, high pressure pump pe crankshaft and crankshaft oil pump. I also replaced the automatic transmission because the original ATG (8HP70) was chips. Everything reassembly engine started again. I thought 🙁 let the engine warm up, runs very quietly in the stationary gas, no dropouts purring, no side noises like knocking or beating. Engine driven 10KM with moderate speed up to 2200 rpm very neatly. At the last 500m I had the feeling (only feeling) that the power was a bit back The car is accelerated to 3000-3500 rpm. The starter doesn’t get the engine turned again. The car is back on the lifts. Everything has been dismantled, control times checked, fit! Nevertheless, the head was disassembled because two cylids did not show the full compression during the pressure test, valves had coked, cleaned and newly ground, –> now OK, engine had not set up, no valves crooked or defective visible. Engine was hard to spin, the S CHWERgang comes from the crankshaft, after ten revolutions again easier to turn I think everything was that it is still a bit heavier than usual. Motor built up again, started, runs up to 2000 rpm very well, from approx. 3000 rpm the engine goes off and the starter gets the engine only very slowly turned (like with empty battery). Hand-turned again, (starter out, engine before and back turned manually on the flywheel) again lightly gäng) starter in, engine star It runs inconspicuously. Engine runs again, accelerates, engine runs out. I don’t know any more and need help… am really desperate! What can this be about? can it be crankshafts / pleul bearings?
