Hello, also as not Phaeton driver would interest me your opinion on the new Audi A8.http://www.speedheads.de/…/…e_neue_generation_im_detail-72053.htmlhttp://tv.audi.de/#/01 Technically, Audi offers many new “licker bites” (see first link). However, the design rather appeals to me less. Somehow everything is already familiar. Not that this would be bad, but if I can only distinguish a vehicle of this class from its siblings by the shape of the LED daytime running light, I think that’s counterproductive. I still thought the single frame was ok, but that the rear now has clear similarities to the A4 / A5 …. I don’t know. The latest technology is beautiful and good, but somehow I miss out on this model (as well as in the competition) the fineness in detail. I admit that I used to have always weathered over the Phaeton. How boring, why does VW need such a thing, etc. But despite its years (or that) the highlight car is certainly a new one.

Did I do something wrong / connected?
Hello, I’ve got to say thank you very much, I’ve got to say thank you very much, I’ve got to say thank you very much, I’ve got to say thank you very much, I’ve got to say thank you very much, I’ve got to say thank you very much, I’ve got to say thank you very much, I’ve got to say thank you very much, I’ve got to say thank you very much, I’ve got to say thank you very much, I’ve got to say thank you very much, I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got to say that I’ve got that I’ve got to say that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got to say that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve got that I’ve

Water in the footroom – how to remove?
Dear Motortalker, on a motorway ride with my wife a little misadventure happened to us: she wants to pass me the plastic drink bottle, but let it go too soon and she falls into the driver’s footroom with me. It’s certainly 0.5l water in the carpet before we could set up the bottles. Unfortunately, we failed to take care of the problem properly afterwards. Always something was going on (woman pregnant etc….) so that we lost sight of the problem completely. Until now. Because now a musty smell is in the car and we remembered again: ups, there was something… First measures were then: foot mats out, newspaper paper laid out. It seems to be better and we thought we had eliminated the problem. Now at the frost I noticed: the carpet in the footroom is frozen, because there is still so much residual water there. So I brewed a few good tips on how to bring the problem to life. Unfortunately we didn’t have the possibility of getting electricity at the parking lot (heizlüfter falls away) and maybe the car had a similar problem.

[Help] Leather seats Sticky and put on lint
Hello, maybe someone can help me further but I don’t know any more advice. I have ordered a complete set for my leather seats from the leather center. Cleaner, tint, care lotion, sealing. After using the means according to instructions, I now have the problem that I “stick” on the leather. It’s totally sticky and every pants no matter which leaves their lint on the seat so it just looks terrible. Does anyone have an idea what to do with it going away? Thank you

The good rubber seals…
Hello…. I would like to ask a general question about the care of rubber seals here. Normally I use Vaseline and Talkum to maintain the seals and to keep them “quiet-free”. Rubber care products keep everything smooth, only after the care product is dried (after 2-3 weeks), the seals squeak again. To prevent this I still apply Talkum. However, the Nervige is that it is always a small mess, since the talc powder does not always end where you want it to end. Then I got the idea to simply use school crayons, because you can handle the chalk much easier and it goes much faster. Chemically, there is naturally a difference between talk and chalk but from the characteristics the difference should not be too big. Thanks for a few opinions… The Moose

My trailer’s gone (caught)!
Hi guys, I’m still on vacation until Sunday 14.6 (Turkey). A friend of mine has borrowed my trailer from me this time. Now he called me yesterday and told me that the trailer is gone. He has also made an advertisement with the police. He has already communicated this to my insurance company. Now my questions. I bought the trailer a good 1 year ago for 250€ used (so this is also in the cover contract behind). In pinch I invested about 800€ again for the 100 kmh registration (steamer, antishlinger cup, new brake ropes and new running brake) All my vehicles and trailers are partly cascade without SB insured. Since this has never happened to me before, I don’t know how it goes on and what I get from the insurance now and when I get something. Can you give me information about this and what I have to pay attention to with the damage regulation. I thank you already in advance for your information.

8″ tyres on Heinemann Z4012 change to 16,5×6,5×8 incl. track broadening track plates
Moin together, have a question about the tyres on my Heinemann Z4012: There are original the ingenious tar slitters 4.00-8/4PR mounted on a steel rim with 3,00×8 ET0. The tyre size 4.00-8/4PR is entered because I have to hang the trailer 90% behind my ATV for gardening and firewood, no bigger tires come into question, at least as far as the diameter is concerned. Now I thought, I mount there the following, wider, wheel/tire combination, which I, as should be different, have already been at home: Felge: 5,5 x 8 ET0 tyres: 16,5 x 6,5 x 8 which would have worked theoretically, if I did not have the axle flange, where the wheelbabe is located, in the zeal of calculating and measuring would have overlooked, because now the tires grinds very much for it. 🙁 Now I have put under to try larger washers and would need a lane widening of 10mm per side. Can someone tell me, if there is no suitable answer for that.

GSM phone suddenly no reception
Hello, until yesterday the integrated phone in my V70 (Bj 10/2001, MY 2002) has always worked (well, sometimes a bit quiet, but otherwise OK). Now it has no reception any more. That means you can turn it on, it recognizes the SIM card, you can operate the menus etc. But with the reception symbol, always zero bars are displayed (normally so 2..4) and there is no net. At the location and on the network (T-Mobile Austria) it is not located, it has tried several times in different places, and everywhere my other phone has received impeccable. For me this looks like if the antenna cable is interrupted. Maybe only one plug has loosened up… Does anyone know the effect? Or knows where the antenna cable runs and is plugged? Then I could try it myself before I drive cumbersomely to the “friendly”… – thanks & warm greetings, Helmut

Reason for oil found at auxiliary frame
Hello, I have found the reason for the oil on the auxiliary frame, the red-marked line on the NEW steering gear is slightly leaking. Whether it’s just a seal or even a material error, I can’t say. The leak is in any case at a point where we did NOT screw at the steering gear exchange (was installed at the factory and therefore flawed from factory). The question is now in what form I can/should and how/if you can get it close!? My hope is that a sealing ring is behind the (hopefully not forgotten) thread that you only have to replace. The line is solid enough anyway, I have checked it. In case of emergency I would have to try it with a heat and oil-resistant seal paste (have already been suggested by the dealer of my trust). I bought the steering gear very (too?) cheaply from PolarParts. I think I will have to do it there. At any rate, I wanted to keep you informed. Greeting of the swede (the one in another forum has got the help from the turbo gear, but I was thinking of the turbo gear at the top.

Tricks at fuel prices at the petrol stations
So far, I have only sometimes annoyed myself that at some gas stations the price address on the road does not match with the actually charged at the column. This at a gas station even for over a year only slightly (but continuously) by 0.9 cents each. The customers, who before refueling the price at the column have not noticed, are always told that the ads are “rounded up” at the rearmost place (with the front digits at the usual intervals change). At the back stands xxx,0. In addition, xxx,9. In addition, a total under 10 euros at this gas station for credit card payers is “rounded up” to 10 euros (only in the box office at the counter the cash register is written down very tiny). If one passes the credit card over the counter, it is said cash payment is no longer possible. Most motorcycle drivers, who because of the small tank only few liters (or only one chocolate lock) have been needed, then the orders are sent to the police, if they do not accept the prices again.
