“Pay as you drive”
I have recently read the following article in the Tz, in which it is about the system: “pay as you drive”.KfZ insurances calculate the insurance contribution to be paid on the basis of the recorded driving profile.Find that the German insurers should use this system or stay with the previous system, which calculates the contribution from the damage-free class, type class, risk group and annual driving performance. n, for fogenden reasons: 1.)The actual frequency of accidents is included (freedom of damage class) 2.)Data protection 3.)Since “pay as you drive” creates even greater incentives to sneak/extremely defensively to push out even the last bit of discount. 4)If you are a frequent driver, this has a negative effect, which I have to say for the sake of fairness that this is similar to the current system. For the “pay as you drive” system, the aggressive driving behaviour is reduced. In the logistics industry, the technology is already in its infancy. What is your opinion about it, or does anyone have any further arguments that speak for or against the system? Greeting Meggi

Lights left on highway
Hello fans, my 120 km/h was shown at night on the BAB as above! Was overtaken by car on the left and then it flashed 2 times red in the height of the overtaking, who had to be faster than me! But: The red flashes came from the left, so from the direction of the middle guard plank??????? How does so and why? Has someone allowed himself a joke and flashed out of the car, because I drove the 120…? How does a speed camera get to this point in the traffic? Does anyone have an idea??? Thanks and Greetings, NT

Citroen C3 shuts down at 190 km/h
Hello I have a Citroen C3 1.6 HDI with 109 hp (built in 2006). The problem is that the Citroen apparently shuts down at 190 km/h. I can do what I want, even if it goes downhill on the highway, the speed of the engine is reduced to not over 190, instead of getting faster. The consumption is kept at constant 12 liters. The joke is that it was not before. The first time I noticed the problem after the car was in the workshop. h was changed something. As the thing exactly means I have to look on the bill again. If you look at the engine from the front, it was at the front left a probe that serves there in the hose for the air supply of the turbo. Of course I have claimed this at the workshop, to that they have replaced the whole hoses there front and of course again the probe. However, the problem continues to order. They have not made a software update. That is now about 1 year ago d the problem also exists with other tires. Does anyone have advice for me, how I can fix this misstand, because I would like to drive again 205-210 as before. About 4 months ago the ABS control unit had to be changed due to a defect. Since then I can not completely shut down the ABS. This is again such a mess. At a certain speed it simply switches on again. However, the response of the ABS is much better than with the old control unit. If someone also has a tip on how to turn off the ABS completely, I would be very grateful.

C2 VTS air conditioning
Hello Leuts…. So it was clear today, without climate —> SWITZERLAND! That’s why I put the good piece into operation, but the noises that came there, ???????? So it’s like that, when starting, after the stand at the traffic light e.g., in the engine room a noise like: BLACK/SHIFT AT THE FUTURE or HIGH-TURNING BRUMMEN etc. When I switch off the climate, it is off or I drive backwards, is also nothing to be heard… Only when starting this HIGH-TURNING GERAUSCH…. listens but then again when I come to 3000 – 4000…!? For ideas or FACHWISSEN I would be really grateful!

Honda MT does not run cleverly
Good morning together, I have to catch up a little before my question comes up: My daughter kicked me to make the old MT8 fit again. I had bought this at 16 years 1985 for 770,00 DM used at the dealer and at that time only drove and at the most filled up and filled oil. Daughter has been with me for 2 days and then I was responsible for the rest. It packed me properly and when I saw that you still get good spare parts, I was no longer on I am a little unorthodox to the thing and first of all I did to the mechanics (wheels, brakes, bodywork, fork etc.) I also painted a new one (painting booth were hanging some plastic foils in the carport from the ceiling.) After that I am to the electrics (there was some dep 35 years ago). I did it three times until everything was right. After that I cleaned the tank, carburettor, oil pump, air filter and installed it again. d I looked at the inner surfaces of the cylinder and then moved the piston carefully. New spark plug, ignition cable etc. and also assembled here again. So everything was back in its place and made pretty but I still did not know if it will start at all. I then built an suction for the basement from a vacuum cleaner and hose and tried to start it. And at the second kick it was there…… squealed like sow, but was also oil in the combustion chamber, so nothing jammed I ran them a couple of times, sometimes a few minutes longer and they purred like before when we were young. So out of the basement and a few laps on the road in front of the house turned. Lief actually quite well, where I drove only up to approx. 40km/h. So off to the TÜV and trembling. The examiner also turned his laps and gave me a fault-free moped attesting with the words “is everything as new”. You have to say that they only about 8,000 km r and it was well stored for 30 years next to the open heating cellar. So for approval and then turned on it and several bigger rounds. It went out normal from below (as you can feel with 20 kilos more than before) and I am on advice of my buddy very slow and with low speeds to the thing. Only after about 30 km I am over the 50Km/h and then I realized that she doesn’t want to pull anymore and a clump (similar to a tractor) set itself up. When I then drove again slower, it went back to normal. Also the next day with passenger times, actually pulled itself out quite well. And now since yesterday something is not right. It does not go well anymore and then sounds terrible. Lets only start with 1/4 gas and smokes, smells and curls only. Sparkling candle is wet and smells like fuel. Have once the flute out and there also everything is quite wet (had the F soldering, the stuff is wet, too.) For this she always presses a little fuel after driving out of the Vegas tube. At first I thought it was related to the mixture that I had first for the first attempts in the tank (because the oil pump had to suck in) because it was always so greenish what came out of the tube. But now only fuel. I tried to push it yesterday in the second gear, but also there she doesn’t want to go properly… Where should I start now best? with the troubleshooting? Thanks for reading and already for help Greeting Jens

Search for freely accessible asphalt track(s) all around Karlsruhe
Hello guys, I’m looking for a paved road where you can drive nicely (without or with little traffic). I’m thinking about drifts in rainy weather or something like this video. Of course, it should be as legal as possible. Is there a kind of register for such places? Maybe I’m just a little naive but I’m sure I’m not the first one to look for something like this. There’s probably some nice places. Does anyone have some tips? I find this a less interesting race track as it can be found in Hockenheim. It is too far away and requires too much planning (registration, etc.). LG Ric

Questions about trailer operations in Austria
Hello together, I regularly drive with a team consisting of towing vehicle and car transporter through Austria. The trailer has a permissible total weight of 2.7 tons. The towing vehicle has about 1.5 tons. We come with race car to a total weight of just under 3.5 tons. Now I was told that in a control the Austrian officials can use the actual payload of the trailer and theoretically demand that the trailer is decoupled and a suitable Is that really so? Secondly, I was told that if the car that is standing on the trailer with the rear over the edge of the trailer has to be placed a warning sign or something. Can anyone say something about it? Is that true? Google has not spit out anything useful about it.
