  • What block?

what do you think? what block is your favorite. small or big block? if small block, am I contrary to the majority(350) for the 327 ci 5.4L. it is more economical, but you can get more out of it in terms of performance. the given already as standard with 375 hp. if 350ci then already the lt1 from 1970. but I would prefer, if it has to be a new small block times, the 327. he is grateful in the standard condition and gets the best results in tuning. tja and big block? if not exactly original in a uto available and intended, I’m not so excited. but if I do then I find the 454 or a 502 newer date good. I always scare off with the later installed the thermal, weights, and at the end nevertheless poor performance yield problems. with the yield I mean, you often notice not much. although you always hear from some super–6 -8 L and PS without end, but rarely you notice something of it on the road. at the end you have n pile of liter-ps consumption and that’s it. at most no but for the garage use-naja. what do you think? small or big? if SB which? if BB which? is worth your opinion after the change from SB to BB? the experiences would be interesting.

  • Kaufberatung R100GS. Who knows?

Hello together and happy new one! For a long time, actually to be honest, the GS always irritates me. I’ve never got to take care of this because of family and acute coal shortage 🙂 You know that yes … Actually my heart beats on the Honda side, so that an old twin or a newer Varadero are my favourite so far. Now I stand in front of a 92’s 1000 GS in my desired color yellow-black. EZ 02/92, 25Tkm, 2nd hand. The reason for the withdrawal at the time was an electronic defect, which one did not want to repair for previously unknown reasons. The talk is about a control unit, which would cost about 500€… Question: Can one buy a 92er 1000er or is that a barrel without floor? What do one do with the machine after 8 years of service first? What will be coming to me? Overall condition very good. A weekend polish and so, then the box stands again well. Spokes seem to have rust base No cracks in the bench and panel. Which component could have left after 25Tkm and 10-12 years of age? Are there any conjectures? What is the reliability of the 92 GS in general compared to other years of construction? What can be the cost? thank you for first tips. Greetings, Markus

  • Coupling R1100 GS difficult

Hello, I just switched from my Yamaha XJ900 S to a 95 R1100 GS. I didn’t notice it on the test drive, but now on longer distances, I’m annoyed that the clutch lever is so hard to operate. I don’t know that from any of my Japanese from old times. – Bowden train is free-accessible – Distance to the handlebar is quite large for me (have relatively small fins) Do you have the problem too, and how did you solve it? I read somewhere else from a distance hill Ise/M5 mother above the bowden train and correspondingly enlarged train play. Has anyone tried this yet? The question is whether the clutch still separates. The same question arises, if you carefully bend the lever with a tube slightly backwards. The Vario-Hebel by Wunderlich is no longer in the program. Has he solved the problem? Does anyone else have a fly around? Look forward to your feedback. Greetings, Thilo

  • BMW Bobber Ltd. Edition by OBG

Hello BMW Friends, How does the forum find this like me my simple and very successful conversion? I will build and allow 1 to 41 of these copies with my partners in the next months. HD is not the only basis for beautiful conversions. So, hit the buttons and let’s discuss the topic. Your honest opinion and suggestions here from the BMW Forum would interest me very much. Certainly not everyone is a friend of Bobbern and conversions, but that doesn’t have to mean that they are not reliable, cheap, nice to look at and good to drive and stand out at the meeting. Dear Greetings Karley

  • Heavy cooling water loss MAN 460 tga, Bj 2000

Hello! We are an association that brings relief goods to the needy people in Eastern Europe with my own truck. All the work is financed by donations. Therefore I ask for advice before I go back to the workshop. For a few months our MAN consumes 5-6 liters of cooling water, whether I drive 500km and then fill up or if I drive 5000km and then fill up. Always about 5-6 liters of cooling water, never more. We stayed at MAN, which has all famous, easily verifiable places. On the last auxiliary transport, on the way home from Ukraine, cooled water level checked again. There were about 8 liters missing. After another 800 missing again 8 liters. In the oil (oil measuring rod) there is no water, it is nice black. On the cooler etc I find no cold water traces, even under the vehicle not. There is also no white smoke. The vehicle has a retarder, on the pipes there is also no cooling water loss visible. What could it still be, or wa. I’m looking forward to every tip, because as mentioned, this vehicle is financed by donations and used only for the transport of relief goods to Eastern Europe. (More information: www.dhhn.de) Thank you in advance! Julian

  • Trailer Lawn Traktor DIY own construction

Hello together, I bought a Husqvarna Rider 111B used. I would like to build a trailer with a tilt function. Therefore I would like to discuss with you what is most useful and what is not. Here are my thoughts 🙂 I found a few videos of my own built in Youtube: 1.Here my favorite:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDL4aRFI9nQ 2. Another trailer:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_c1yuMkHo4 3. A DIY system with spindle:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v =5k9yRPQlXSs&t=6s 4. Although with hydraulics and no “trailer” but the cylinders to the rear (less HUB necessary)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFYZVtBe3Ps With the trailer should be possible around the 200kg load, the width 90cm should not be exceeded, otherwise it does not fit through the garden doors 😀 I have done the variants from videos 1 and 4, in video 1 is a very nice trailer to see, so it should become about later. In video 4 is a hint This shortens the stroke of the cylinders and thus saves time for tilting and also costs. The base frame should be made of steel, not galvanized, but painted. I currently have tyres lying around bag cart wheels, which are only 150kg loaded per piece and are only relatively narrow, since I have a little thought, not that these sink in or screw up too quickly. For the calculation of stroke and tipping load I have an Excel table for calculating a The dimensions in the Excel table can be changed as desired and thus everything is recalculated. Perhaps the Excel table is also interested in someone. The board walls should be left and right inclined, the rear wall should have the pivot point at the top, and when tilting itself open. I have chosen the lifting cylinders with a with a stroke of 200mm and 1500Nhttps://www.ebay.de/…/253956758964?… There are also various small parts (switches, car 7-pole plug and can, a distribution box on the trailer and a fuse) Ideas and suggestions are welcome 🙂
