  • Spring EQE 295

I would have a question regarding suspension of the EQE limousine. I have had a 300er since mid-January; dangers about 1,200 km. What I can’t cope with at all is suspension. In a test drive in July 2023 (1/2 year delivery time) I tried both steel and air-ferdering, and hardly noticed any difference. Both were extremely good and comfortable soft suspension. A good well-known, since decades of mechanics at MB, then advised me rather to steel suspension, because it from se in view at Airmatic still again and again, partly expensive, there are problems. My vehicle drives like a board, I feel every joint, every small pothole is passed directly and directly. I decided against the optics even more for 19 inch rims, because I was completely out for comfort. ( + battery pack !!) Tire pressure 2.9 bar all around. Is there still a transport security that was not removed? How have you been satisfied with the spring comfort? Or am I especially sensitive. Greetings, wk630

  • Can a car dealership…

The following happened: Uninflicted accident, Volvo S40 Total damage, had it hauled directly to Volvo. The following thing I want to do: The car has a residual value of 220 euros according to the stock exchange where the car was in for 3 days, the junkyard around the corner wants to give me 220 euros bar, I’ll assume that. What I’m afraid of: The Volvo employee said something about today. My lawyer usually means the insurance if I don’t leave the car unnecessarily (damaging duty). Said, Schrotti called, they looked at the car and now I want to take it there tomorrow. I’m afraid that the car dealership requires me to pay the stand fee. Can he refuse the issuance of my car? The lawyer doesn’t want me to pay anything there, the highest of the feelings. is an invoice that we submit to the insurance company.

  • Roof box Leon ST

Hello together, I’m looking for a big roof box (500l +) with 75kg charge for our Leon. There are numerous suppliers. Prices vary extremely. I get a box for 250€, but I can also pay 800 for it. Do you have experience with the individual price classes? What do they differ from each other? We only need the roof box 2-3 times a year, so no continuous operation. Thank you for your answers.

  • Seller does not adhere to contract agreement

Hello, I don’t know exactly if this is the right area. Ggf please postpone. The following situation: I bought a passat about 2 months ago from private. According to the previous owner (seller) was among other things in the last 3 years coupling and timing belt renewed what made the car attractive to me. He said that the rep were made in a workshop, but he could not find the invoices. We then noted in the purchase contract under “other agreements” that he m I have not received any invoices yet, although I have already informed the seller several times by SMS. What is it like now? Is he obliged to send me the invoices? What can I do further? Would I have the right (only for the sake of interest) to withdraw from the purchase? Greeting CGTi

  • Gasoline or diesel?

Hello together, I play with the idea to order an Arona style as a second car, but am not conclusive whether petrol or diesel. I drive about 25000 to 27000 km per year and want to lease the car 36 months. The difference with the monthly rate is 23€. According to my calculations, this is taking into account tax, insurance and fuel price almost as wide as possible. I have determined an annual saving of about 250€ for the diesel, which however by higher S Both variants are about the 95 hp version. Due to the higher torque I tend to the diesel. If I see this correctly there is no difference in the service interval, or is this wrong? And the question still arises about the maintenance package. Meaningful or rather too expensive (30 € per month)?

  • ACC Settings

Hello! Had this WE the pleasure to drive over 1000km highway and thus time to test the possible settings (distance and engine)! For me the most pleasant was distance – very close and motor on sport Thus the vehicle braked most pleasantly and even then again properly accelerated when it was possible

  • Wet grip of tyres

I have been driving my Arona since last week, on which are the simple 16″ aluminiums with 205/60/16 tires. Manufacturer Giti. Never heard of it, but according to the internet they should not be so bad. Now the roads are wet for the first time and I have the impression that it is not so well ordered with the wet grip. It seemed to me more often as if the car was going away at the back when I drove in a curve over a smoother area, zb where the road was repaired. Has this even j Emand watching? Greetings, Kay

  • Heating smells chemically plastically burned

Hello all, I have a problem with my 2020 ́er Kia XCeed. 1.4l 140 TurboPS, running 15Tkm. Was a daily registration with 20km. So, the problem apparently exists only in heating automatic operation with switched off climate, i.e. warm air. Logically in the cold season. Mostly at the beginning when the warm air comes after 90° water temperature, rather it makes hardly sense for me to pull warm air, it smells strongly like burnt plastic I would think. It is so extreme that I have to open the window at first. What I have found when I try it out, if I don’t control the warm air in automatic mode without air conditioning on the ventilation exits in the middle (i.e. directly in the middle of the vehicle / passenger room) the smell is hardly noticeable or not at all. Conclusion, the smell is the most extreme when the warm air is blown into the footroom in automatic mode without air conditioning. What makes sense, because warm air rises. eb I wouldn’t be able to say. Now I don’t know if I’m just imagining this, but I guess it has something to do with the ventilation ducts towards the footroom. But can that be and what could be the cause? Now I have some clues like inverters, heat exchangers, heating converters spiral, electric heaters (if mine has the as Tsch. re-import at all), but don’t it always smell from every ventilation channel? Thank you for your suggestions and opinions .

  • Routes option on the Navi

With the route options, you have the option to avoid the highway. If I have chosen the option, the navigator often wants to send me over motorways anyway. Here comes a hint, which contains the route : then the highway symbol is to be seen. Is there a way to definitely exclude it, because this is the way the function is meaningless.
