  • Cold feet in the Grand C4 Spacetourer BlueHDI 160

Hello, I’ve had a Grand C4 Spacetourer BlueHDI 160 in the SHINE Editon for a couple of weeks. First registration was in 2019. So far I’m really very happy. One thing bothers me, however. I wanted to ask if it works or maybe something can be repaired (which would be good because of the cold feet). I’m not really very sensitive to cold, but I always get cold feet in the C4. I find it takes a little to warm air. But that’s still possible. I know my predecessor cars so that if you turn up the ventilation fully and set the temperature to hi, the air is first very hot after a short time and second it comes with proper force from the outlets. If I set the C4 to hi and the ventilation to maximum, then the air is warm but not hot besides you notice a air flow but this is relatively weak. Rear blowout is closed. If I only set the foot space (about the three possibilities with the Pfei If I turn on all three of them, the power is no longer enough for the foot space. There is almost no air out there. Mind you Ventilation fully turned up. If I activate the setting Windshield free I also notice that the ventilation has / can have power. In the normal setting fully turned up I would say felt 1/10 of the potential if you want to release the windshield. Could it be This is very empty (about 260 out of 700 possible A said the workshop). However, the battery indicates that it is otherwise functional. What I can’t imagine, because I charged the battery with a charger and my wife who drives the car actually has a working distance of 20km. However, I did not have the opportunity to leave the car overnight in the workshop. Start stop does not work (presumably above all therefore). I can’t really imagine that the battery could have something to do with the ventilation. I just wanted to mention it for the sake of completeness. Thank you and many greetings Thomas

Hello together, need urgent help. My Citroën c4 1.7, EZ 2010, does not start after installation of the battery. It is called energy-saving mode active. • C4 – interior / steering wheel

Tag! I have to say that I find the C4 as a whole package not bad… What I don’t like at all, however, are the fittings. They are well processed, but not my taste in style. Especially the steering wheel, which has a fixed “inner part”, therefore only the outer wheel moves. In addition, I find the solution with the warning lamps on top extremely shabby. My question would be whether there are (already) alternatives here or whether such can be expected. subsequent installation of other (more normal) steering wheels. In addition, the tacho in the middle also bothers me, but that will probably be rather difficult to change. It’s a pity that the bold and chic design and the good workmanship in the interior is broken by such funny experiments 🙁

  • Which light mesh fits

Moin people. This morning, I drive so easy to work and suddenly the service is standing. Parallel to this I have been so misty in the morning that the heating is not warm but also not to regulate over the bediefeld. Suddenly the good starts to bitch quite badly. First Abs, ESP failed and then the servo steering also did not go anymore it became dangerous. OK. At the traffic light car turned off and wanted to start again, nothing did itself after then after approx. 3 std. Es e The car jumped on again. Something was driving and suddenly the Tacheo only had to see the bottom lines of the km data and the engine was somehow not running properly anymore. Engine started out again however did nothing. I think the need nee new Lima. Now my question. Can someone tell me if of other vehicles the Lima fits me? Will now no new ones pick me up rather from the scrap and then maybe have more possibilities. Thanks I drive the C4 from 2006 mi t 1.6 he and something with 109 hp or something.

  • C4 windshield is not ventilated

Dear people, hardly the first problem has been solved, the next one is already coming up 🙁 Today I found that the fogged windshield is getting very badly free. I once felt the air outlet and see there – there is no air out, although the blower is set correctly. Instead, the whole air comes out of the other nozzles. I have now worst fears, since I had a problem before and that was not funny. That was with a Volvo S40. There came also k An air to the windshield. It turned out that Volvo had installed the air ducts in the dashboard with unsuitable adhesive and that eventually fell off. Therefore, no air came out of the windshield nozzle. The problem was well known, however, Volvo didn’t care. Since the car was a little older, nothing was done. O-Ton Volvo dealer: “You would have to take the whole dashboard apart!” So much about the topic „Premium brand! I’m afraid now, since ss has the same problem with the C4. Has anyone ever heard of it or of it? Thank you very much! Olli

  • Oil change due – which oil for short distance

The oil change for our C4 Picasso I is about to take place. Become a Mac Oil driver during my lunch break. I am just wondering if I should take a 0W40 instead of 5W-40 this time for the winter. The Picasso is tormented by my wife very many short distances, twice daily each 3km. The engine does so so far without complaint (wood knock…). I think that a 0W40 for the engine will be gentler because the oil snows at cold start, especially at -10 degrees or even less. The good eats about half a litre of oil per 1000 km. Would that be positive, negative or not at all with a “thin” oil? The change with 5W40 costs 49.99 and with 0W40 69.99. So I wouldn’t care about the price, the 20 tacks back or forth.

  • Remaining value and what another gives

Hy Folks, since I sometimes stand like the ox in front of the mountain the request to explain it to me: if I have an accident damage and the car is an economic total damage the replacement value is determined, as far as clear. Then one of the evaluators says what he has determined as the residual value – also so clearly. Now to the part where I have difficulties: The evaluator says now: replacement value 10t €, residual value 2t €. Rep. costs 12.000 € = economic total damage. If I have the wagon If you don’t want to sell the car to the one who doesn’t, then we can cut you the money you get by the 1000 difference. At the same time, however, I can still have the car repaired in case of an economic total damage and up to 130% of the replacement value go and the verse has to pay. There is the first crux point. The second is: if I have the car, the car will have to pay. I have to deduct the difference between the residual value and what the potential buyer has offered. Above all – as I understand it – if I do not go to a workshop. ???? What does it look like, by the way, if I have sold the car privately for more money than the residual value, then the verse must still pay the full difference between the residual and replacement value, or can it also deduct that more. Would be nice if there was someone there who wants to rebuild it. Thank you very much! Koyota

  • who still needs insurance advisors in the age of the internet?

hello community! as already mentioned in the threadtitle, I ask myself why insurance policies about the classic nature of the insurance representative are still taken out today, if the conclusion about s.g. direct insurance goes to 90% cheaper and the handling even more uncomplicated of hands? so at least my experience. I was insured over a representative for years until I came to the conclusion that I paid up to 300€ too much. these are in ten years where I dor t insured was 3000€. so honest, the advice of my insurance representative was certainly not worth it to me. but I also made the offer with the direct insurance to draw immediately, but this was obviously not possible. the handling of the direct insurance went singing and soundless over the stage. insurance notice was faxed to the desired registration office, the vehicle I registered in 10 min and drove from the yard. advantage: no representative enters my e apartment, which I also have to wear coffee and cake to the a…., which makes me feel as important as one without other polizze is to always be fucked with the idea of this, because he wants to fatten his commission if then one would be able to bring something to get through, you get rid of it. on such a service I can really do without and fill me with the dv better. have meanwhile cancelled all polizzen of the vetreter, since much too expensive. also with the banking is no different for me. account management expenses of 150€ in the year are now also a thorn in the eye. for a long time I will also have to think about something. gruss chinerl

  • Giant Dilemma by False Fzg. Holder

Hello, I urgently need your help! I bought a used vehicle in 2009. Assuming that it is cheaper to insure the car on my father, we then took out the insurance on him. By chance, I now noticed that the insurance runs on him, but this apparently assumes that he is also the owner and holder, which is probably also a prerequisite for the cheaper classification, as I have now experienced. Now I am looking for a Mögl If I re-register the account, then the insurance company will be informed by the registration office of the correct holder, and I would like to prevent that. Does any of you know what information will be exchanged between the insurers and the registration office, if I cancel the insurance company and then at the change of year I will be insured elsewhere? I am looking for a possibility that the old insurance company will not be able to change over to the insurance company. I don’t know how the dilemma came about at the time, but I hope to get out as unscathed as possible. Until the problem is solved, I won’t drive the car anymore, because I don’t know what would happen in case of damage. Thank you for your help KdK

  • C4 Picasso doesn’t start.

Hello together. I have a problem with my C4 Picasso. A few weeks ago he just went out on the road. It came the error message: water in the diesel filter. You could not start the car either. OK, car towed, filter and crankshaft sensor (has the diagnostic device still displayed) replaced. 3 days later the same again. Also the message with the diesel fiiter again. I then measured the battery voltage with caution. Has 6,5 V indicated. The battery is already about 9 years in the car. OK, new battery is installed. No error message. Today it does not start again. All possible error messages follow up. Can it be that the first time (on the road) in the battery was a short circuit? Therefore 6,5 V. And now what is wrong with the ECU? Can one check the ECU somehow? After I changed the battery, the car jumped on without error messages. Does it read out the error memory again? Diesel, Automatic, BJ 2007
