With the V6 there are chrome lamellas in the radiator grille (top and bottom respectively 3 rows), see also in the new brochure S.42/43. I would like to retrofit these lamellas also in my EOS. I assume that there is either another radiator grille insert, or the lamellas are only attached and ordered as a set. Please get the corresponding spare parts numbers and prices here. THANK YOU!

Kaüfer does not register car, insurance wants to have money
So with me is somehow the worm in it. I sold on Saturday the 11.10.2008 my old Mercedes registered. With purchase contract (name, address, PA number etc)…. The buyer wanted to re-register the car in the next 5days. I went to the road traffic office on Monday the 13.10.2008 and communicated the sale and submitted a copy of the contract with. So I thought that I was out of the matter. But the seller sold the car within 3 atgen, of course me And the current owner of the car still drives around with my license plate, so he has not yet re-registered it. I called the registration office on 02.01.2009 again. On 30.12.2008 came a bill of my insurance (Europe directly from Dortmund) with the request I should pay for the period from 01.01.09 – 01.04.2009 my contribution for the Mercedes. Since I became of course stubborn. So have the period from 11.10.2008 – until now, I didn’t get credit and want to have money for the next 3 months. Of course I called right away and told them all that, they only said I had bad luck because I didn’t send a purchase contract to the insurance company. On Monday I should send a copy of it to them and then it will probably take 4 weeks until the insurance company automatically cancels. Is this all right? Does not the insurance company have to take over the date from the purchase contract or from then on It’s about 500€ insurance premium. Would you be nice if you could help me somehow, with a verdict from some court or something… So now I’m looking forward to your answers

German car in England
Hello people I want to get my German car to England, because the insurance for the Mondeo is really too expensive for me. And n Corsa 1.0 would be only bit cheaper, because I am only 19 and come from Germany, and only a year here in England is for the Abitur. I only have a car here for about 2 months and that costs me 2700 pounds of liability in the Jahe. I think. For a Mondeo. Really so expensive the island. Presumably until May next year I will stay here. And I I had to take my German car here before this year. But the insurance company said to me, despite a green card, that my car will only be insured for three weeks in England. Otherwise I have no protection after three weeks if I want to stay longer. I also used the SuFu and read a two-year-old article, where it is written that the one here in England with his German Au So I can really stay with the car in England longer (German registration and insurance and of course also license plates^^) or is it really only possible for a short period of time. So again if it is possible, I will get it over Christmas and until probably May or June I will stay here in England, so for half a year about. And if someone has had such experience or what knows about which V insurance goes such a thing and what does it cost extra to the normal contribution? Because my insurance does not work. Many greetings from the United Kingdom

Percent take over….
Hi… So here’s the problem…my husband is 24 (and I am 22). So, as I’ve read myself smartly, he can take over the percentages from his father. I hope that’s right. And that’s as long as he has the driver’s license. The car belongs to us and has always been financed by us. The question is now, how much do I have to expect for the insurance? It’s a Skoda Fabia Combi, 1.9 TDI. Currently, the insurance amount amounts to about 600 euros at 35 % The problem is, we live very far away from his father and finally want to let the car on him. Because the whole is always annoying. I hope I’m not annoying with this topic and you can help me because I don’t have that much idea in this regard. Oh, so exactly….I don’t know if the car is registered as a second car on his father or first car (don’t know if the car is registered on his mother or father, which my parents-in-law drive) I just wanted to ask if the transfer of the percentages creates any disadvantages for my father-in-law? Many many thanks already in advance!!

Coolant loss
Hey guys, I got a Seat Leon a year ago, but I’ve been having coolant problems since the beginning. I stayed on the highway twice – once because of a defective water pump and once because of a broken hose. The coolant either disappears without seeing anything in the engine compartment, or it collects under the balance tank. I’ve already changed the container. Since my heater doesn’t work (cold, warm, not working). ) and my windows fogged from the inside and left behind a greasy, light film, ChatGPT said that it could be due to the heat exchanger. Does anyone know about it? Thanks in advance!

Coupling does not separate
Hey, I’m in total despair and really don’t know any more. Maybe one of you has an idea. I drive a Seat Leon Cupra 280 from 2014 with 6-speed manual transmission. A month ago I made my clutch new with ZMS, clutch disc, pressure plate and central release. After the assembly it started that the clutch did not separate any more. Everything aired several times and also here no improvement. Air came out but no more. If the engine is off, it can be al If it is on, then no gear goes in or out. The clutch does not separate wisely. So I removed the gearbox again at the beginning of the week and changed the central trigger again. Also no improvement… As a result I changed the vent valve, the hose to the encoder cylinder and the encoder cylinder itself everything to exclude errors there. Also no improvement. There must be something on the clutch package. When the engine is out, the clutch pedal increases a bit of pressure but also not really. But when the engine is on then the pressure in the pedal is completely gone and if you put it pressure, it stays on the ground. If you put the engine back out, the pressure in the pedal is back again. What else could it be? I’ve already dismantled the gearbox three times and got a little crisis. What else could it be? When the clutch is installed, the K is normally installed. upplungsscheibe centered with the pressure plate and then screwed to the ZMS. Then the central trigger to the gearbox and then everything assembled and ventilated. Clutch set is from Sachs with the manufacturer’s number: 3000 990 350 I am at a loss Thanks already for any help

Spare parts question rear lamp
Moin, I hope someone can help me choose my spare part. The rubber seal of my rear light is broken and I am afraid that there will enter liquid and it just looks very ugly. Therefore I would like to order and install a new rear light with the part number 5F0945207E. – At the article https://www.ebay.de/itm/126562337863 stands “Original Seat Leon LED rear light left outside” with the matching part number in the description – At the article https://www.ebay.de/i tm/126022872653 stands VALEO rear light and in the description OE/OEM reference number(s) 5F0945207E The differences between the two are I think that with the rear light of VALEO no incandescent lamps are installed, which would not be so bad, because I could just take those from the other rear light. My question now: Are these two lights externally identical and in original part quality or how does the price difference of 219€ to 90€ come about? from the outside you can see a difference from the left VALEO rear light to the right SEAT original back light. I like to call every little detail that I should pay attention to. I’m really a noob about that. Retread the back light and replace incandescent lamps I can do, but which parts I need exactly sometimes I find difficult.

Squeezing front axle right
Greetings, Since March 2024 I have a squeak at the front right. In February 2025 I was back for inspection, since the reason was called the bearing of the stabilizer, which would cause these sounds. Then I changed the stabilizer bar with bearings, but it continues to squeak. Is the cause perhaps rather the crossbar? If it has strong minus degrees outside, it is extremely loud, and as soon as it gets warmer, you can hear it only quietly. I am slow with my Latin on the End and don’t want to continue to exchange parts that are not. It mainly occurs on bad roads and cobblestones. In August 2023 the chassis, dome bearing and coupling rod was re-established in a workshop. Thank you for your feedback.

Oscilloscope for troubleshooting – which one is recommended?
Hello, after I put a LIN connection wrong in a retrofit last weekend and then searched for a wolf, the decision was now that I will get an oscilloscope. By chance I stumbled over a few models, which can also evaluate LIN and CAN which in the long term could facilitate troubleshooting of some ECUs anyway. Now I am thinking about whether a battery powered or a stationary oscilloscope is more useful. It makes it a little more handy and easier because the mass/grounding topic is eliminated, but it is usually tray-like devices with a higher price compared to stationary devices, which are however also quite handy. For the trays speaks with some of the automotive-oriented functionality, which might also be beneficial with different challenges. Is there any experience with such devices and a recommendation here? Best Thank you for inputs!
